“Been coming here for awhile now and it’s probably the one restaurant in the area that’s consistent with food, service, and atmosphere. We enjoy the shrimp tacos, French dip sandwich, the chicken Caesar wrap, loaded river rounds and the burgers (miss the burger buffet!) Our server tonight was Brooke and she was fabulous. Will be back as always.“

“I came for one thing and one thing only. The apple walnut salad. It’s the best salad I’ve tasted anywhere. Love the brown sugar dressing and the combo of feta, greens, fruit and nuts is perfect. That is the only vegetarian dish they serve so of course that is my only option here but it is so good I’d get it even if they had other choices for me. For meat eaters, my friend thought the Cobb was good too. Yes, even the Mac and cheese has meat. I’m sure I could’ve asked for a special non meat version of that or the grilled cheese but why go there? Really, try the salad.Service was great. Immediately seated and the server was very attentive. The place is clean and cute… love the fun decor. No booths so seating is tables only.Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians on the lunch/dinner menu. But the apple walnut salad is yummy!“

“Fun, small, quiet boutique style place. We didn't try the wine but got a flatbread and it was so good. We also got the grilled cheese for the kids and they were so polite and cut it up on two different plates for us so each kid has their meal separate which we found so thoughtful. Cookie Cheesecake was also fabulous!Kid-friendliness: It's not a rowdy place so was welcoming for the kids.“

“This is a great little watering hole but don't let the fact that it is small fool you. Its not the size that matters she says, its how you work it, and work it the detour 19 does exceptionally well, especially the bartender named Brandy. She is the best bartender Ive ever met. And ahe is definitely easy on the eyes too. Thanks Brandy and amazing service with a smile. Id give youna ride on my bike any day of the week ma'am...... Chris“

“Best biskets and gravy I've ever had. My dad had the quinoa bowl, maybe the best bowl I've had, too. It looked like an avocado dressing. (Amazing)I just got back from a food tour in Austin. You can't beat Ramen Tatsuya it's the best thing I've ever had, but this is a close second. So this isn't just "a good cafe" it's the best place to eat I've ever been to in Minnesota for the price. HANDS DOWN“

“First time ordering here, pizza was very good! Ordered the Reuben and cheese burger pizzas and they were probably the best we've had of both those style pizzas. The cinnastix were top of the line as well with a crumble and icing to top it off. The owner was honest about a delay and made things right which is always appreciated. Will definitely be going back!?“
“We reserved a party room for a small business event. Deb was very easy to work with and Michelle was helpful when I had questions and Deb wasn't available. Their rates were incredibly reasonable. The flexibility was hard to beat! When we arrived, Mike and Deb were great about making sure we had what we needed. We had 2 servers- mine was Emily and she was very on top of things. The food was good and the drinks were good- I heard no complaints from any of our guests about the food, drinks or service. Kudos to the kitchen for pace and standard. Also, the room afforded a lot of space and a great deal of privacy from the rest of the bar which was perfect for us. Overall, I wish every venue was as great as this one! Thanks Liberty crew!“

“We had a delicious meal - a salad with apples, chicken, bacon etc. Chicken was nicely cooked. Salad was beautifully plated and the ingredients were very well balanced. My husband had a steak sandwich and fries from the specials menus, which he said was also great. We "shared" a coffee creme brulee for dessert which was amazing.“

“This place is heart-warming. I had been wanting to check it out for some time as I pass through this area a lot. It is situated in a rural stretch of road in Maple Plain/Independence near the Luce Line walking trail, giving it an almost isolated and greater Minnesota country feel. That carries into the atmosphere of the place when you walk in. I agree with other reviews that it feels almost like a throwback to earlier simpler times. It may seem to some like a diner or a dive bar, but everyone there was relaxed and enjoying themselves. The menu is impressive. You would not expect so much variety. You can get basic all-American foods like burgers, or you can try pretty rare things like frog legs, or they also serve prime rib. The range is wide, which is surprising to consider how they are both capable and supplied to do that. Prices are quite reasonable, too. Meals go from as low as $8 up to $30.In short, we were not feeling too adventurous, so we simply had a Northwoods Burger, a Ceasar Salad, and shared a slice of warmed Pecan Pie. We would get it all again.A shout out to our waitress, Leslie, who was a sweetheart and did all the right things for us.If you're looking for a place to just unwind, have a couple of drinks, enjoy some comfort food and the company of others, then you need to pay a visit!“

“One of best kept foodie secrets in the state of Minnesota! I can't say enough positive things about McGarry's Pub. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is perfect (especially the back dinning area with the oversized booths and wooden floor), everything is made fresh from scratch and you can order most of the delicacies to take home (loafs of their delicious dark bread, containers of their made from scratch salad dressings, containers of their side dishes, etc). If you haven't tried McGarry's yet, don't even hesitate!“

“Sunday morning breakfast. Pancakes were huge. Probably 10 in (26 cm) across and 3/8 in (10 cm) thick with that butter cispy edge. Go in the breezeway to see if they're open. Almost drove away because I read the auto parts store's hours (they're closed on Sunday, but Edie Mae's isnt).Parking: Faded lines but decent sized lotWheelchair accessibility: All one level - no stairs. Saw one person in a wheelchair eating there. Two handicap parking spots closest to door.“
“My dog wanted me to write a review that she’s very dissatisfied with her pup cup experience—we go to the Buffalo Culver’s occasionally and their pup cups are a small vanilla custard scoop in a cup with a dog treat on top. She said the whipped cream was top notch, though.“

“A childhood core memory that just keeps getting better. From 1919 in the Frosty mug, the train cruising around the bar area, and the fish tanks, going to Dave's has always been one of my favorite things to do on a Friday or Saturday night.Coming back to town for Christmas, Dave's was a natural choice, and man, oh man, it was like I was a kid again. One of the few restaurants in the area I recommend to friends when I find out they're visiting my hometown.Dietary restrictions: Peanut- allergy friendly“

“I've been here about 4 times. Never disappointed.Edit: qwe went again for a date night dinner. Unbelievably delicious. I had a salad and unlike other places, it was well seasoned, the flavors were balanced and it was not drowning in house ranch. It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious salad at a restaurant. If you go, you have to try a blackberry lemon drop. They're absolutely dangerous!“

“The Thirsty Buffalo is known for its hamburgers with handmade patties and large chicken wings. This place definitely has a local vibe. Our waitress, Emily, definitely has pride in the establishment. They do many things to fundraise for the local Buffalo Youth Hockey. We ordered the Keggers to start. These are large tater tots stuffed with bacon and cheese, and served piping hot. Delicious! My husband ordered a Reuben sandwich. The sauerkraut is made local and the sandwich was scrumptious. I had their homemade chili topped with cheese, sour cream, chives, and a side of cornbread. It came with honey butter that had a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. The atmosphere is full of the local spirit. They were selling raffle tickets for meat, had pull tabs, and bingo. Look on their website and Facebook for what is happening. Skip the chains and enjoy this local spot with great food and attitude that can't be beat.“

We will be back again! Probably going to make plans to stay the weekend for Ribfest next yeat!“

“Great experience. The food was great, the price was spot-on, and the customer service was wonderful. These are not your average burgers. For a while, I thought I was losing my sense of taste, but I think I just wasn't going to the right place. Fantastic job! Old time burgers.“

“We were just passing through town, getting a little hungry, and we saw this place with a bunch of motorcycles out front. (We know what that means!) We went in, sat at the bar, got served by the owner (Greg, I think). I had chili, the wife had a philly steak sammich. Fantastic! We hung out for a while, watched a little football, and met some of the locals. Great food, fun people, nice place. We'll be back!“

“It's a legion. The fish fry here. We had our fish within 5 minutes. This has got to be the quickest fish fry ever in history. Don't ever go to Delano hour and 20 minutes. We still didn't have fish and we walked out the french fries, fish coleslaw. That's all you get at the buffalo legion.Fish was very flaky just took the crust off. It's all you can eat or 16.99 should have a little bit more sugar in it. I was showing everybody at the table just add a packet or two and it would be just fine and they all followed suitMy waitress was good. The food was hot. What?“

“Their beer is "ok," but the food - especially the pizza - is incredible. They do a nice job on mixed drinks and have a decent bourbon selection. As a beer aficionado, I wouldn't come back for the beer alone. However, the food and the service (and even some "live" music) give cause to this place being a good option for meeting old friends or having an enjoyable evening out of the house.“

“Applebee's, I love the 50 Cent wing special Because I do not eat the same kind as my husband And he has a hard time eating a whole order. And I could never eat anything more than 5 which is the lowest you can get? Please keep this up. This is an awesome special. And I know other people feel the same way. You cannot tell me differently. And to add-on my husband said bring back the birth as Brutus burger.Parking: They have a parking lot at Applebee's, but you can also park at the end of Cub Foods.“

“We have had so many great experiences at Clays…. We prefer some bartenders…. But just don’t go when Laina ( spell ) is bartending. She is so annoyed that non regular customers ask her for anything…. ? Luckily I made my husband go deal with her….“
