“Absolutely loved the Camden Social. The owner was very professional and welcoming. Went there for Saturday brunch and they had a jazz band playing live music. Ordered the French toast, eggs, and sausage. The sausage was so well seasoned and full of flavor. And the French toast omg so good. Probably one of the best French toast I've had. “My bestie and I came for a late night dinner on Saturday night. Wanted a beer (or a few), good eats, and cardboard crack (pull-tabs). When we arrived karaoke was just starting so that was entertaining to watch. Amanda was our waitress. She's friendly, upbeat, and she even sang karaoke. Food was yummy as always. Wings come out so hot and crispy. We always ask for the fries extra crispy and they come out perfect. If you want good food, highly suggested coming here. Fun little neighborhood dive bar.“

“Great place, good food, weird vibe! The waitress or cook was off. We ordered an appetizer. Our friends ordered a different appetizer after us. Their appetizer arrived. We asked about ours. She told us it will be coming. Our food arrived and we asked again about the appetizer. She seemed confused. The appetizer never arrived and when she brought the bill she said something about never getting the appetizer. The whole exchange was weird. They should also take salads off the menu. That was not available when we were there either.“

Parking can be a little difficult to come by, but usually you can find a meter on Washington Ave. Food is fast and delicious, as well as the beer and cocktails. We like the breakfast options and usually have a hard time deciding since there are so many good choices. “A group of 30 of us came in for brunch on Saint Patrick's Day (we did have reservations), and even though they were ridiculously busy, we found easy parking and were greeted with friendly smiles from the energetic staff. They patiently took our orders and didn't even flinch when we needed them separated. Every staff member was great! Our food came out promptly and tasted delicious, and we all left happy with full bellies, ready for the day. It's rare to find such genuine, good places nowadays, but this one of them for sure!“

“It's a very open bar and they have some TV's to watch sports. They had a band playing the night I was there and it's nice that they have bands. There is room to dance if a band is playing. “I stopped in here while in the middle of a rail-bus transfer. Right away I was greeted by staff. There was a group circled around the bar but no where else. TVs everywhere. I was told there was a special that day: tomato-basil soup and grilled cheese sandwich at a reasonable price so I decided to try that. A tall glass of water with lots of ice they kept refilled. I was offered more food at one point but I can't eat that much these days. I took a tour around and found they had two Skee-ball machines in back. They do have a change machine. The juke box was ultra-modern. I found a bucket of bingo stampers on one table. Overall, I found this to be a super nice place and would stop here again.“

“This place is so fun! It's a cozy little bar where you can pack in without feeling too cramped. There's always some sort of entertainment here: poker tournaments, live music, or just great people watching. The clientele truly is a mix of all types of people, old and young. They have menus in Spanish. It really feels like everyone is welcome.The staff is really nice and plays into the fun. After just a few visits, they started greeting me with my usual drink.As far as the food, they have a lot of classic bar fare, but the wings are the best! I've tried all the flavors and the lemon pepper dry rub are my favorite. If you can't find your own table, it's common to grab a seat at someone else's to eat your food. “We decided to spend Spring Break in the Cities instead of somewhere warm and then a terrible blizzard hit. We ventured from our hotel to The Bulldog for a snack with our two tween/teen boys because we saw they had a kids menu. Our snacks and beer choices (for mom & dad) were great. We would have left with a perfectly pleased experience and been good. But the bartender who was solo and killin it found out we were going to a T’wolves game the next night. She is a huge fan and season ticket holder and when she found out our boys were fans she gave us an absolutely amazing hoodie that she had just scored. “The pizza is fantastic. They used to house Red's Savoy Pizza, and they kept the pizza kitchen equipment when Red's moved out. They have very good pizza options on the menu, and the ingredients/ construction of the pizza is well done. The bar is what you would expect at a VFW, and has a decent selection of beer on tap. Very friendly staff and atmosphere.“
