“For our company’s employee appreciation party, we booked a cruise on the Belle Vista, and it was wonderful! The crew was very kind, professional and attentive and the food was amazing. We are beyond impressed with how smoothly everything went from the initial booking to the day of the cruise. Morgan worked with us diligently to book the cruise and did a fantastic job recommending which boat would best fit our group and helped with selecting our food choices. We can’t thank all the staff at Al and Almas enough, from the cooks that prepared our food, to the many behind-the-scenes staff, and the incredible crew that made our day so special. “I walked over to The King’s House for lunch while getting my motorcycle tuned up at Davis Motorsports just down the street. I got one of their specials, the taco salad with chicken. It was among the best taco salads I’ve had. I especially enjoyed the burst of flavor from the fresh cherry tomatoes generously embedded in the salad. The shell is clearly home made, as is the unique sauce. The seasoning and herbs on the chicken were also perfect. Everything was very fresh. The presentation was excellent. Their ice tea is clearly brewed fresh too. I went ahead and had a mojito for desert and found it well crafted and refreshing on a July afternoon.

My server was professional and personable.

The place wasn’t very busy at lunch time. But I got the impression their busy time is evenings. Tables are nicely spaced. They have outdoor dining. Ample free parking in their dedicated lot. I enjoyed their playlist as I ate - a diverse mix of mostly alternative soft rock. I was pleased that they didn’t have any distracting TVs in the restaurant.

Everything is accessible to wheelchairs.

Kid-friendliness: Wooden tables and chairs, concrete floor - nothing fancy about the space - but everything is clean and comfortable. It would be an welcoming place to bring the whole family.

Wheelchair accessibility: Everything, including the outdoor eating area, is on street level. No stairs.“

“We were just passing through town, getting a little hungry, and we saw this place with a bunch of motorcycles out front. (We know what that means!) We went in, sat at the bar, got served by the owner (Greg, I think). I had chili, the wife had a philly steak sammich. Fantastic! We hung out for a while, watched a little football, and met some of the locals. Great food, fun people, nice place. We'll be back!“

“Lord Fletcher's main dining room is always a great choice for a wonderful dining experience with a nice ambiance. We sat at a table next to the windows overlooking the dock area. “We’ve been to Iron Tap a few times and it never disappoints! Today we went to celebrate my son’s heavenly 3rd birthday. Initially we were okay and my daughter seemed fine but within a few minutes she decided she didn’t want to be there… the owner (or really awesome and amazing bartender) came to our rescue and offered us dinosaurs and another area to sit so my 1.5 year old could move and not bug anyone. She didn’t know us or our situation, just saw an overstimulated mother. I wish there was more I could do, because you made our celebration so special. Thank you!“

“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“

“We had a great meal last night at the Lake Room. The bar area was packed, but the dining room was less so (nice for noise). We shared appetizers (deviled eggs and chicken skewers) which were both excellent. Entrees were also very good - bone-in pork chop and shrimp and grits. Wednesdays are 1/2 off bottles of wine night, so we enjoyed an excellent red. Service was great. We love this place!“

“I am a customer and I had the best dining annd entertainment experience with the incredible staff here at Floyd’s bar! The band was Coconut Tiger, such a class act! The band was high energy, the bartender Frizby was our favorite! We had a large group of us but Frizby our girl did a AMAZING job of taking care of us, it was spontaneous, we came in for a quick bite, and it ended up being an entire night to remember!
