“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“If you’re searching for a place that turns dinner into a full-blown experience, Forepaugh’s in Saint Paul is it. We recently indulged in their curated Date Night menu, and from the first bite to the last spoonful of dessert, every dish exceeded our expectations. We started with the Fried Calamari, perfectly crisped and golden, served with a fennel saffron aioli that added just the right touch of brightness and complexity. It was a strong opening — light, flavorful, and gone far too quickly. Next came the Orecchiette, a pasta dish that somehow managed to be both comforting and elevated. The duck sausage was rich and deeply savory, while the broccoli rabe and Calabrian chile added balance with just enough bitterness and heat to keep the bite interesting. For mains, we shared the Petite Filet Surf & Turf and the Roasted Sea Bass — and honestly, I couldn’t tell you which one was better. The filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender, paired with a buttery lobster reduction that made each bite luxurious. Meanwhile, the sea bass was delicate and beautifully cooked, served over a creamy taro risotto that was both inventive and satisfying. The flowering cauliflower added a perfect seasonal, earthy crunch. And then came the showstopper — Baked Alaska. This dessert was nothing short of theatrical in flavor and presentation. The strawberry semifreddo layered with vanilla meringue and olive oil cake was both light and indulgent, ending our night on the sweetest high note imaginable. The ambiance was warm and romantic, the service was polished yet friendly, and the pace of the meal allowed us to savor each course without feeling rushed. At $150 per couple, this Date Night experience felt like a steal for the level of quality, creativity, and care that went into every plate. Forepaugh’s isn’t just a place to eat — it’s where memories are made. Five stars, hands down. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Wow! Like stepping into an elegant dream. I don't normally like lobster, but I could down those lobster deviled eggs all day! Be sure to order a Fitzgerald and plan on spending some time here just taking it all in.“

“We got 2 french dip sandwiches with fries and they were great. Fries were fresh and crispy and horseradish and au jus was great as well. Pricey but to be expected for the airport. The restaurant is up a level so you get a great view of everything below. Alison, our server, was super lovely as well.“

“It was awesome! The service was great! Staff went out of their way to accommodate all 11 of us! Everyone that works there seemed happy and ready to help! I graded a 4 on food..only because out of PERSONAL preference I didn't like my food, BUT someone else at our table had the same thing and LOVED IT! And a 3 for atmosphere because it was a bit loud and hard to visit ..but again that's a personal preference...Would we go back?MOST DEFINITELY“

“Cheerful and professional service from Sydney. Great artichoke dip and nice smooth lattes. The hibiscus orange tart has great flavor, but a little odd in texture for me. A wonderful option within walking distance of the XCel and Science Museum.“

“A few times a year, I make a detour on the way to work for avocado toast with an egg and the fruit cup. I do not know how they do it, but every time the fruit cup is delicious. It also looks beautiful. Yes, lunch is amazing here, but don't sleep on breakfast. 😅“

“Very demure ambiance. Not your average hotel bar. Bartenders are interactive, music choice is appropriate for all ages. Drinks come quick and go down easy. Clean restrooms, clean tables, clean bar, other patrons are respectful and friendly. Struggling to leave and check out other venues in the area, hard to one up this establishment.“

“We had an early morning flight and Josh was so helpful! He made our bagels quickly to go and gave me plenty of cream cheese and napkins. They were a fair price too, much cheaper than the bagels I bought at RSW on our way to Msp. Thanks so much!!“

“Went at 9pm for date night.
This place restores the soul. Beauty abounds. Crisp Nightcap rocks.
Thoughtful NA options.
3 deviled eggs, not 4? Boohoo. Burger is worth at most, $15, not $21.
Bar food is telling me: "You should just eat in the restaurant, you fool!" Not at all bad, not at all great.“
“I don’t usually spend much time or money at airport bars, and this one isn’t much to look at. HOWEVER, if your layover has you at MSP International, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! Sit down at this funky, bisected little family-operated bar/restaurant. The prices are low, the drinks are strong, and the staff… I’ll get back to them.
The food is affordable and elevated. This little place is punching way above its weight. As for the staff, I’ve never felt more cared for. Airport bartenders are not necessarily known for their interpersonal amiability; however, Lindsay, my server and bartender, was truly attentive to all my silly quips. She even suggested pairing my meal with tomato soup.
The tomato soup was fantastic, as was the cheese sandwich. But the real gem was the burrata salad. It featured very fresh arugula, freshly sliced cherry tomatoes, fire-roasted sweet peppers with balsamic glaze, and a fist-sized portion of the freshest mozzarella I’ve ever had in my life.
I don’t typically pull out my phone to review airport bars, but this place is really something else!“

“Too expensive for what you get. Food was good but nothing fancy like the price reflected. Can get very loud as with our experience being seated in the same room as a large award recognition party. Service was good. Very cool old space with lots of history.“

“Best meal I’ve ever had in an airport as a frequent traveler.
Antonio in the kitchen made an absolutely phenomenal lox and eggs on toast with avocado and crème fraîche. Paul behind the bar was very friendly and professional.
11/10 experience.“

“Best place in the twin cities for vegans, vegetarians, and big time carnivores to eat together and be totally satisfied with the many great options available to each of them. Always shocked by how reasonable the check is too!“
