“Had a great meal for 4 adults and 1 child. Food was fresh and good portion. Staff were super kind and great hosts. Drinks were super good as well. Got appetizer, main meals, and dessert and would absolutely recommend and go again.“

“It's Taco Tuesday and I was craving Mexican food, but I didn't just wanna go to the type of place you think of when "Mexican" is brought up... I'm fancy, so I wanted something a bit more upscale. I did a little bit of research and wouldn't you know it... Colita came up. So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set south of downtown and a bit west of The Mall of America on Penn Avenue is this gem. There is no private parking lot, but plenty of street parking to leave your fly ride. But once you walk up to the restaurant you can immediately understand the message they're trying to send. Everything looks so modern, straightforward with straight lines, grey colors and light woods. There is a small outdoor section where you can dine if you get lucky enough to land a spot there. Inside carries a very similar style with a little nod to the pueblos and architecture of the southwest. The decor is minimalistic and the "loudest" thing in the room is the live plant wall seated directly behind the bar, which was super cool. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but we had no issues whatsoever. Food/Drink: I was able to try so many different dishes and drinks here and the list is below... 🍹: Xochitl In Love 🍸: La Clandestina 🐟: Tuna Tostada 🌮: Chicken Tinga Tostada 🦪: Seared Scallops 🫓: Tlayuda 🥃: Colita Old Fashioned 🥩: Lamb Barbacoa Tacos 🫔: Duck Tamal However, my favorite things were the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, Duck Tamal and Seared Scallops, in that order. The food here is phenomenal, the drinks are excellently crafted and things are served tapas style so you don't get too full off of just one thing! Order a whole bunch of stuff and share with the table! Value: As I mentioned earlier, I wanted upscale and the priced dddooo reflect that. Lol. This is a nice place so be prepared to spend... Like you're downtown somewhere. In conclusion, I loved this place and I will come back over and over. Check this place out the next time you're in the area!“

“Just finished dinner at the Better Half to try out the new after dark menu - 100/10 recommend! We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! Shout out to Michael our server - he always goes above and beyond (I somehow always end up in his section 😂 and he is fantastic!)“

“Ive worked in multiple kitchens over the course of 8+ years and the short rib here was easily one of the best meals I have ever eaten! Wish I had taken a pic but it was quickly, and throughly, devoured! My husband had the pesto pasta which was also divine, light and lemony, perfect springy pasta dish. Our server Hannah was a delight! I dont often leave reviews but was compelled after having such a lovely dinner. I will be raving about that soy honey glazed short rib for months and hopefully will be back for more soon.“

“We arrived last Monday after this location was re-opening after a kitchen incident a few days earlier. The kitchen was not quite ready to cook food. We had our 6 yo grandson for the day and promised him mini golf and lunch. Kelli 2.0, the bartender, was such a great help to us in finding out how long it would be. We decided to play first and eat later, even though our only choice was pizzas which was just fine. She was so kind and helpful in keeping us posted! Thanks Kelli 2.0 for making this a good experience for our grandson!“

“Part of my job is to coordinate catering for training sessions, C-suite meetings, Board meetings and as soon as I found Cafe Fusion, it became my GO-TO for any and all catered needs. I've ordered everything from chopped salads, wraps, and pizzas to the taco bar (OMG) and pasta bar (OMMMMGGGG) and the hoagies. Everything is always fresh, delicious, portioned perfectly and presented so nicely. The staff is friendly, ON TIME, and extremely helpful. I can't say enough about this place! You cannot go wrong with them.“

Highly recommend carrot cake for department served with any signal ice cream and caramel sauce. As good as the restaurant was, it was the tea experience with dessert with blew my mind. Exquisite Tea Forte teas (highly recommend the ginger lemongrass with the carrot cake). Served with a mini jar of honey and the most amazing tea timer. Will absolutely dine here again when I'm in the area.“

“We needed a quick dinner and just googled restaurants and found Lars. It’s a gorgeous little restaurant tucked into the lobby of a hotel. The food was delicious and came out pipping hot; we made it in time for happy hour with their new menu and had a bunch of fun stuff to choose from. The drinks were great too and mine came with a cute little golf club toothpick! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and the bartender came out to make sure I like my drink. If I lived closer this would be my new spot to go to regularly.“

“We had Old Southern Bbq cater for our wedding and it was absolutely an amazingly positive experience! The director of catering, Amy, was so helpful and on top of everything. The catering team was absolutely wonderful! All of our guests ranted and raved about the food all night, especially the potato salad and the cornbread muffin tops. Would definitely recommend!“

“Came there last night and had some drinks which were great and the apps were also great. Our service though… AMAZING! We sat outside on the patio and Maggie ( hopefully I spelled it right ) was our server and she CRUSHED IT. Super attentive, got personal, made us laugh and didn’t skip a beat!
