We arrived grossly early (25 minutes) and could not be seated because the restaurant was so busy on a Monday evening! Service, as usual, was prompt and friendly. The food was excellent across the board. We especially liked the seasonal starter, caccio a pepe sweet corn. We had the Calabrian cauliflower, the kale salad and three pizza shared among 4 of us. We left with the inner smile, indicating food made with love and joy, that identifies a five star experience. Since Anna Kim has closed her other restaurants we hope that Lola will keep going. It keeps the standard for pizza in the Twin Cities high and delicious.“

“Visiting friends wanted to take me to dinner. I chose Patrick's because they lived in Europe for many years and are very fond of French cuisine. Our server, Miriam, was attentive and very pleasant. The food was excellent (as I knew it would be). My friends said it was authentic and reminded them of meals they had in France and Switzerland. The bottle of wine we shared was a lovely Cabernet Franc and went well with all our meals, ranging from the Salade Nicoise to the Shrimp Scampi to the Boeuf Bourguignon. As we were finishing our meal, one of my friends mentioned that we were celebrating my birthday, and Miriam gifted us one of the desserts we had ordered. We had a wonderful evening and my friends made me promise that we would return to Patrick's the next time they come to town! Thank you for a very memorable evening.“

The minestrone soup was equally as good as what my wife makes at home. We've mostly been enjoying our Lucé at home the past few years, but had a teen visiting and wanted to give them the full Lucé experience. I made a reservation requesting a booth because of hearing loss and sensory sensitivities in our family. We were given a booth back in the corner and we haven't had an evening out that was so pleasant as a family in years! Staff was excellent - for us and the family at the next table with a high-energy toddler who had a spill that was cleaned by cheerful staff who assured the family it was no problem. We used to be that family, so I appreciated this! Everything was clean and the restaurant looks to be in great condition. The artichoke dip was the best ever (I swear we marvel this every time we have it). We tried two new pizza types - the Classic and Wild Mushroom - both were excellent, though Athena and The Lucé will still be our go-to choices. The greek salad was high quality and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza we took home to our youngest was good (as always - it's the picky little dude's favorite pizza!) Another word on staff - We appreciated our host and server's clear communication; I'm unsure if they did this because of awareness of our noted hearing issue, but thanks to that and the booth placement, I don't think any of us had to ask for repeats.
