Sandwich Shops near Shakopee

“I eat here all the time. It’s really good, but I have notes. The wheat wraps Don’t taste very good.
How come they never cut the sandwich all the way through when they cut it in half? Why is there always a piece of bread attached with two sides where you have to rip it apart and ruin the sandwich?
Also, why can’t you put equal toppings on both sides? There’s always one side that has way more meat, in the other side way more vegetables..“

“Overall I’m a JJ fan, but I felt compelled to share my experience here because it went above and beyond. I had ordered for delivery and JJ used a third party delivery (totally fine and normal), but then I got a call that the driver had marked the food delivered but never grabbed the food. They weren’t able to cancel since it was through a different system. They asked if I would be willing to pick it up and I said yes. Truly no problem, understand this happens and I was only 7 minutes away, but I didn’t know at the time that they were willing to bring it to me if I couldn’t come get it (very kind!!) Anyway, in the meantime the driver (uber delivery, not a JJ driver) texted my number that he wasn’t grabbing the food because I didn’t leave a “good enough” tip (I left 15%). After some back and forth, I told him to leave me alone and he was saying he was going to note go get my order and bring it to me. I didn’t feel comfortable with him coming to my home and I was already at JJ. While I was in there, he came in and the JJ worker (dreads and glasses, very nice guy!) asked him to leave and he could tell I felt uncomfortable leaving on my own. He walked me to my car and made sure I was safe before going back in to the store. It was really kind and made me feel a lot more safe in our community knowing there were people out there looking out for others!! Thank you so much, I appreciate it!!“

“We had such a great experience last night at the valleyfair subway... these lady's made my night...the hours had just changed for the end of summer and I sure didn't realize and had walked in 5 mins before they closed ... not only were they willing to still make us food they also had the the most accommodating demeanors... the place was so well maintained and clean that they whipped up our 3 sandwiches in no time... really topped off our day of being at valleyfair .... these ladies were amazing!!!! “I almost didn’t come here because of some of the reviews. I was expecting slow service, rude employees, and a sloppy sandwich, but I decided to give it a chance anyway. I’m honestly glad I did because my experience was the complete opposite of what I expected.

The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in, acknowledged me right away, and got my order started quickly. The restaurant was clean, the employees looked like they actually cared, and my sandwich was made exactly how I ordered it. Everything tasted fresh, the bread was soft, the vegetables were crisp, and they didn’t skimp on the ingredients.

I don’t know if this location has improved a lot recently or if some of the negative reviews are exaggerated, but based on my visit, I don’t think the current rating really reflects the experience I had. Everyone has a bad day once in a while, but it’s not fair to judge a place forever because of a few bad experiences.

If you’re on the fence because of the reviews like I was, I’d recommend giving this Jimmy John’s a shot and deciding for yourself. I was pleasantly surprised, and I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s nice to see a place that seems to have stepped up its game or maybe just never deserved some of the criticism in the first place.“

“I had to write a review and show some love and appreciation to the young man (with the As ball cap) and young woman (with the beautifully laid baby hairs) who were working yesterday. I just so happened to be in the area and was craving a tuna sandwich. From the moment I walked in to place my order, the employees treated me with genuine warmth and kindness. Not only was my food delicious and fresh, but their energy and incomparable customer service left such a strong impression on me. I hope this review not only reaches them- but their management as well. These two individuals shine and they are what every industry wishes to have representing them! You never know what kind of day someone is having and because of these two- my day got brighter and better after my visit. Thank you both so much for adding value to my day yesterday! “great sandwiched and even better service! I was in to the Chan location. a bit ago and there was a mix up in Sammie between myself and another customer. I did not realize this until after a 20min drive home. I called the store and they immediately knew what happened. offered to comp my next meal. well, today I had the time to go back and I no more than walk in the door and they knew who I was and comped my sandwich. no questions! top notch customer service! Cheers!“

“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.“

“Have been to several Jersey Mike's, and several occasions at each......the experience has been nothing but positive.....the employees were friendly and skilled, the meat is sliced fresh for your sandwich, the build quality (lol) has been fresh and flavorful.....great for anyone looking for healthier alternatives, while on the go.....I walked in early, the guy said they weren't open, but he would help me, great attitude, and it really helped me out (but please don't try this as a practice....I don't wanna be in trouble here) I like to review, especially when I find value for my money!“
