“I’ve had a light dinner and drinks twice within a month during the holidays. Very festive, really good service and friendly staff. The 90 day aged eggnog is unique and excellent! The tempura vegetables were crispy and the Thai dipping oil was so flavorful. The sliders were tender; the crispy chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside and tender inside.“

“We hosted our daughter’s ceremony in Medina Entertainment center, and the service and coordination were exceptional. Everything was perfectly planned and executed just as we had requested. The ceremony went smoothly, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. The event coordinator Christy, bar server, and food server all did an outstanding job. “Situated beautifully along the lake with fantastic sunset views, COV Wayzata offers a wonderful ambiance that is especially enjoyable when the temperature permits outdoor seating. The service was exceptional throughout our visit, beginning with the highly accommodating staff who graciously allowed us to place our first round of happy hour drink and appetizer orders just minutes before the window closed. The tap beer selection is superb, and we started with the truffle fries, which were paired perfectly with a delicious truffle aioli.

One of the main courses we ordered was the steak frites accompanied by green asparagus and béarnaise sauce. While the flavor of the steak was excellent, the cut itself lacked a bit of tenderness. Additionally, while the restaurant boasts a strong wine list, the pricing reflects a remarkably steep markup; a bottle that typically retails for around $40 was priced at $155, which feels a bit excessive (normal for me as a Swede in Sweden, but not in the US…) Despite the steep wine prices, we ended the evening on a high note with a genuinely phenomenal Key Lime Pie. Overall, COV provides a highly memorable lakeside dining experience bolstered by top-tier service.“

The "cottages" are wonderful even though there is downsizing to get done. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The food is great - besides the 'every day menu," there are specials for lunch and dinner. The menu is quite varied with chicken, beef/veal, pork, turkey and vegetarian.“

“I went there to get lunch for my husband’s coworkers ( 12 persons on total) I wasn’t sure what to order but the guy in the cashier are help me to choose the right hamburger for my hungry guys that they’re was doing roofing close in the area. They’re said the hamburgers are very tasty and fresh!!“

“Well, let's see. I thought it was going to be like a sit-down, relax restaurant. Take your time. Might take a little while for your food to come out. Our server, Ashley, was nice. Quick to come take our order, quick to offer a refill when the beverage ran out. Our meals came out so quickly, though. It felt like not even 20 minutes went by after we placed the order and BAM meals arrive. They must've read my order incorrectly. I said no bleu cheese and it came out with bleu cheese. They brought it back and then like 20 minutes later, brought me a new plate. It looked like they just scraped the side dishes from the original plate to the new plate. They were cold where the extra butter I ordered didn't even melt. The waffle fries on my wife's plate, in my opinion, were cold or old. Wife said they were fine. Service was great! Ashley provided a little discount since they messed up my order. Food on the other hand, felt more like a quick service restaurant versus a sit-down, relax restaurant. No offers for dessert. I didn't even see a dessert menu or on the main menu. This really wasn't the best experience, but not the worst experience. I only recommend Clive's because Ashley was so quick and friendly. For the rest, no I would NOT recommend Clive's.“

“We had a brunch for 16 people at 11am. While they weren't able to hold seating/make reservations; they were able to make it a very short waiting time. Page and the serving crew were amazing! We had no waiting time on ordering and our server was professional and speedy. They kept the drinks coming and we had someone in our party with a lot of special food needs and they were wonderful! First place we've been to where my husband could eat an entire meal to his fill. The food was delicious! No one in the entire party had a single complaint! Wonderful blueberry rice sausages, eggs, pancakes, taco salad, hot tea, coffee, French toast, hashbrowns, English muffins, toast, and more! The decor is adorable! We're so lucky to have found this little cafe as we're from all around the US here for a wedding. It seems to be a local favorite as it was packed! Younger generations and older and everywhere in between! THE go to place if you live in the area or if you're just visiting! You won't be disappointed! “Decided to stop by for a drive thru visit and this location did not disappoint!

I received very accurate and helpful service, it was quick and everything tasted awesome. I just had to take a pic of my turtle custard bc they did such a good job on it!

Plus the grilled onions were perfect on my burger.

Only complaint would be that my fries completely spilled in the bag, like they were out in there upside down… still tasted good tho haha“

“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“

“We love Primo! It's a small, intimate place in Long Lake with incredible Italian food. We started with calamari as an appetizer and it was among the best I've had. I think they add cheese on top of it? Really great. I enjoyed a pizza and side caesar salad for dinner and my wife also loved her spaghetti and meatballs. They make tiramisu on-site and that was also a home run.
