“When my wife and I get to Cloquet to visit my Son and Daughter-in-law, we go there. One of my all time favorite restaurants. It is a busy place, but no waiting. Large portions and great prices as well. You won't regret stopping there. Not open on weekends though.“

“I suggested this place to my buddy Gabe clonkin after having the absolute banger of the meal of burgers and onions along with a shake. This place feels like the backyard of the state of Minnesota. Absolutely iconic.Wheelchair accessibility: Great wheelchair accessible“
“This place is. Must stop when in Cloquet, this has got to be one of the coolest old bars around. The Fitgers memorabilia is amazing and the atmosphere of this very nicely restored building is fitting to its era. I have driven by this place so many times over the years, I kick myself now for not stopping sooner. The owners enjoy giving you the history of this amazing building. You have to stop and at least grab a drink if passing through Cloquet, MN. I assure you, you will be glad you did!“

“Absolutely wonderful experience every time we go there, even when it's a full on dinner rush! Service is stellar, food is absolutely amazing! Tonight I had their catch of the day which was the honey hot salmon - cooked to perfection with a delicious glaze of hot honey to spice it up. And I can't not mention their fresh baked rolls and buns, they are incredible!“

“What a hidden gem!! Pulled into the parking lot on a Thursday mid afternoon on our way to Giants Ridge. Lots of cars, good sign!! Went to the bar side and started with a Bloody Mary that was delicious with beef stick, olive and pickle. Got the 1/2 rack rib special that was fall off the bone fabulous! Also got the Lois, which was a hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and beef gravy, it too was very tasty!! Staff was very friendly!! Will definitely be back when we are up this way again!!“
