“Our ordered food was delicious. Our waitress Mary was outstanding. Almost every dish on the menu can be prepared gluten free. Plus, for those that watch your sugar intake can order dishes prepared with half the sugar. It was an outstanding dinning treat. We will return frequently.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and reduced sugar dishes are available.“
“The food is good, the rice ISN'T fried even though the menu says it is, check your takeout order before leaving because something will be missing. If you get a refund for a missing item you paid for, you have thirty days to use it! Ha! They're happy to take your money but don't like making it right.“
“They must have a real chef because the food is amazing! We were greeting as soon as walking in and the service was outstanding. Also I have to say, the atmosphere so so comforting. You can tell that time was out in to make sure everything looks just right. Very affordable as well. This is a must try for sure!!!“
“The best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever had in America. This place is delicious and authentic. Sweet and sour pork is incredible. I highly recommend the pork and cashew and the spicy fish. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good but overall, this place is a hidden gem.“
“This is the best Chinese food in town. I don't know why they're not slammed busy all the time. There's so much better than Hong Kong up the street. I got food poisoning from Hong Kong a year ago so I started coming to this Chinese restaurant. They even bring my dog a treat when I go through the drive through. I will not go to any other chinese recommend to anyone One in good chinese food in springfield“
“I always get the cashew chicken ask him to make it spicy .I get my sauce on the side so of course I naturally taste the chicken and oh my God so much flavor without the cashew sauce is really good some of the best cashew chicken I’ve had in Springfield!!! No it is the best!!!“
“I love the food here. The service has always been quick and easy too. It's been awhile since I last ate here, but I left a poor review on their newer buffet restaurant and felt I should give the original location some praise. It's a night and day difference. Just go here for good food, but go to the buffet only if you don't care and need to eat a ton. Thanks and good work.“
“This place has been hiding right under my nose. I had general chicken and it was amazing. The chicken nice and crispy and just falling apart juicy. Perfect spice. My husband had the combo rice and I heard no complaints. Crispy flaky egg roll made me hate every other egg roll I’ve ever had. Crab Rangoon was delicious and I’m a stickler when it comes to my goons. Food was fresh and the guy at the window was very pleasant. Can’t wait to come back and try the cashew chicken and lo mein and maybe even try a sushi roll for the first time. Maybe not tomorrow but soon for sure. My new go to!!“
“This place came highly recommended by my fiances friend who recently moved to this area of town and let me tell you, we ate here 4 times in one week of trying it and have been back several times since then. The chicken and sauces are outstanding. Our personal favorite is the teriyaki chicken.“
“Orange chicken 8/10Chicken fried rice 8/10Shrimp and garlic 8/10Egg rolls 8/10Crab Rangoon 9/10Stopped on a whim.... this place was surprisingly very very good. Orange chicken was a savory sweet style. Possibly the best I have ever had for my palette. Chicken fried rice was solid... egg roll solid.... shrimp garlic... solid.Crab Rangoon was superb.....Will not hesitate to try again.“
“Been coming here for several yrs now and we love the food. The food is always cooked perfectly n tastes amazing. The owner’s n staff are amazing always welcoming. We ordered delivery today for the 1st time n again the food is amazing and tastes perfect the delivery driver was right on time very polite n pleasant n friendly person. We will only come to this place for Chinese food or call for delivery. If we could give 1,000 stars we would every time.“
“Pa Chan's is some of my favorite food in town. When I'm not feeling well, because of sickness or any other reason all I want is Pa Chan's delicious egg drop soup. Its the best egg drop soup I've ever eaten, flavorful and packed with soft cooked eggs, with a deliciously spicy chili garlic topping on the side. (the spicy hesitant should use this very sparingly until you are ready to unleash its full spicy power, its yummy and potent) The entrees are affordable, generously sized and delicious. Best pad thai in town by far. I also love the jerky with sticky rice too. The owners are also so kind, its been on more than one occasion that we've called very close to closing time hoping we might snag some food and they were more than happy to accommodate. (Though we don't make a habit of that because we'd rather they get home, we do really appreciate it when its happened though)I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough, and do not miss that soup, y'all“
“This place has become a staple for eating out. The menu selection is excellent (with traditional American Chinese dishes, stir fry, apps, even sushi, and more), the food is always prepared fresh, and the prices are very reasonable and affordable. Probably my favorite thing is the free soup offered to all who dine-in. It’s so wonderful. The owner is a humble man worthy of your business.“
“I had orange chicken through the drive through and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. This time I had fried tofu, was unremarkable. Their coconut chicken is a unique trademark of their's I'd say, I haven't had any complaints of the food the cooks made here.Thank you y'all for being up the street from my house. I appreciate the craftsmanship and passion in every dish I order.Vegetarian options: The tofu is prepared with the satisfying consistency as it should be. Nothing bland about it! I like to get the pieces and kind of dip it in my sauces for more of a dominate taste!Dietary restrictions: Ordering online let's you see heart healthy options, and also the exemption of MSG.Parking: The parking lot and drive through complimented each other well, unusualy any interfere with traffic.“
“The negative reviews of this place are pretty funny. I noticed most of these people aren't from Springfield and clearly don't know what good Chinese food tastes like. They must be used to whatever passes for Chinese food where they live. Now that I've got that off my chest. Happy China is an amazing Chinese restaurant. The Hot Pepper Chicken is absolutely amazing, and their fried rice is really good as well. The Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon are also some of the best I've ever had. My wife and I have enjoyed everything we've ever had from Happy China, the food has always been hot, and the staff has always been friendly. I highly recommend this place.“
“They have amazing egg drop soup and hot and sour soup. The place is very small with really great flavorful food. My mother and I were pleasntly surprised the inside was a bit dated but the soup was sooo good I could have just ordered that. I got the combo dinner and it was very affordable. Great crab rangoon as well!!“
“First time we tried to eat here .We mostly eat at their other branch at the mall. They have the best orange chicken in town My picky kids loved their orange chicken and noodle. I tried the milky booba tea and it's really good .Meet the owner and he is very nice. Folks , try this place and you won't get disappointed.“
“I was really impressed for the first time trying this place. It's really nice inside. We got egg rolls which were delicious and loved the presentation on the plate! I got the Mongolian beef which was incredible and the sauce was so good. The beef was tender and overall everything was great. Server was very nice and did a great job too!“
“The ingredients are high quality, the taste is amazing (best sesame chicken in town), and it isn't overwhelmingly oily and gross like some places can be, soaking your take out bag. If good home cooking were a restaurant, it would be this place. New favorite Chinese spot hands down. Recommend the broccoli and beef/chicken as well! (Egg rolls are a little expensive, sadly. But they are definitely delicious, albeit smaller)“
“For some solid Spfd cashew chicken and other items....this place is awesome and does a great job. Want something that's killer and (not) everyone knows to get it: Order the Mandu. Kinda like an egg roll....but in a triangle. Has more pork than an egg roll. They are an awesome side!!“
“We LOVE this place. Sad they had to close the big building due to road construction taking all of their parking lot, but glad they’re still in business! It’s one of our favorite places to eat. Very good value for the money!Parking: Wish road construction didn’t take most of their parking.“
“SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!! I came by the drive thru the other day and it was so good I had to tell my son. Best cashew in town by far. My son is obsessed now, and the owner and staff are just wonderful. He got the kids cashew with egg drop soup, I got the potstickers and fried rice. Will most definitely be back again and again!“
“We took a chance on a place we had never heard of, since we no longer live in the Springfield area, and were pleasantly surprised with the place. We were very happy with the service, the quality cashew chicken that didn’t seem like fast food, and the atmosphere. The food arrived at our table in a very timely manner. Friendly service. Highly recommend.“
“This place serves the best Springfield-style cashew chicken, in my opinion, and far and away the best crab rangoon anywhere! Everything else I've tried has been great. Fresh veggies in the egg rolls, fried in fresh oil - delicious! Egg drop soup on a cold day - yum! Generous portions and consistent quality!“
“Stopped in one day for a late lunch with my husband and everything about the experience was top notch. The building has plenty of room and is clean and welcoming with very pretty and fun decor. The staff is super helpful, friendly and inviting and willing to answer questions and make suggestions. I had spring rolls and a medium Hawaiian tofu and my husband had gyoza and a medium hot and spicy chicken, we each chose steamed rice. The portions were fantastic and we were glad we ordered smalls as it was more than enough food for each of us especially with appetizers. We shared a soda as I don't drink much more than water and it was great too, perfectly balanced and refreshing. We were very impressed and loved our food and we'd highly recommend them. My husband follows a regular diet and I'm a vegetarian and there are so many options for both. If you're a vegetarian in this area you know it can be hard to find more than a dish or two at any given place but here you'll have several great options. We're looking forward to trying new dishes very soon. This is how a business and restaurant should be run and you won't be let down going there! We have come back again and again!Vegetarian options: Plenty of dishes for vegetarians including stir fried vegetables, several tofu dishes, steamed rice, noodles, spring rolls, edamame and bowls“
“A lot of these reviews say something along the lines of "this food was amazing," but that truly doesn't cover how truly perfect this food was. My girlfriend and I got $70 worth and well be eating on this for two days. I've been through all 50 states as a trucker and tried as many Chinese food places I could and THIS PLACE is by far the best Chinese I've ever eaten. Case closed. They're nice and deserve all the business possible.“
“Not all of their food is great, but their low mein noodles, fried rice and their appetizers are absolutely amazing. I've tried their other items, but honestly they're not really anything to hype up about. With how large their menu is, there's not a whole lot of options. I usually get my chicken or main entreys somewhere else and swing in here for the sides, because let's face it, this place has the best noodles and fried rice.“
“So this restaurant should have 5 stars. It's beyond their current ability to get 5 stars. The food was delicious. The host/cashier was helpful in identifying a dish I saw on their Google pictures that didn't have a title(spicy Mongolian chicken). I tried their spinach crab Rangoon and was very impressed. I'm no professional food critic, but the food here was especially good Chinese food in my opinion, for a very good price. The restaurant is small. Too small for the amount of business they have. It looks like they only have one or two(very talented) cooks, so the wait is kind of long. If you call in takeout, I think that would work out for the best. We decided to dine in and waited about 35-40 minutes. Again, worth the wait. They also let us know up front. I just think if they expand, they will fill the demand.“
“You go in , they seat you, take your drinks and off tot he buffet line unless you want to just order off the menu! Atmosphere is great and distance from table to table is great! Enough room to get around which I like. Go pick out your stir fry items and get in line, they cook it on the grill in front of you! Make sure you TIP THE CHEFS by putting money into the tip buckets and Bang The Gong ! They will all say somethin lol“
“So I'm from Chicago originally and I cannot tell you how many Asian restaurants this place reminds me of. Kids in the booth, waiting on Mom, Mom, fighting burnout, taking care of everything/one with class.Food was good, enough for two people. For sure stood by and eat here. The reminder of home is what stands out in my memory of this place.“
“Awesome food, my family and I love to eat here. But the drive thru service we are always rushed. You had better know exactly what you want or gonna get. You have to be fast with it, and if you pause for 1 second, the order is complete, and they walk away from taking your order. Other than that again awesome place.“
“I can only speak for a weekend experience. Everything was fresh and they have several options to choose from. It hasn’t been easy finding a Hibachi Buffet this size, especially for such a reasonable price at just $11.99 for lunch. I’m visiting from out of state and I can honestly say, the closest I’ve come to this experience is located in Palm Desert, Ca. I was very pleased. If I lived here, this would definitely be my Hibachi go-to.“
“Their food is always outstanding especially for offering drive-thru. The egg rolls are fantastic and Pineapple Chicken is my FAVORITE! Egg drop soup is phenomenal. The sweet and sour sauce isn’t my favorite, but it’s not my least favorite. Definitely better than Panda Express if you’re looking for Chinese in republic.“
“I think this is the best low-cost cashew chicken place in Springfield. The employees are super friendly and helpful. The teriyaki chicken. Is amazing and so is their sweet and sour chicken. The parking lot is large and easy to find a spot in. This restaurant, is conveniently located just off Sunshine on Enterprise across from the car wash.Parking: Big lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Both entrances have ramps.“
“Good place for a bite of lunch and has a varied menu. Nice staff and relatively fast service. The Mongolian beef was quite yummy. Drinks are limited, no alcohol or fountain options. Might be better for take out. Still came away as a happy camper.“
“Panda is the best Chinese I've had in the area after many disappointments. It's Panda Express, service was nice, food was good. I have eaten in and ordered to go. I'm happy with this location! Most reviews on this location are entirely irrelevant, so read carefully.“
“Delicious, fresh food, lovely staff! The experience was wonderful and I'd love to revisit some timeParking: Free parking, plenty of it around the building!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid-friendly options here! Saw quite a few families with children enjoying the array of goodies.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, but I would suggest having someone to help get food when going through the buffet- it might be a tighter squeeze depending on the size of the wheelchair too.“
“I really missed this restaurant. Or should I say the actual chef in the back. Still the best Chinese restaurant I ever eaten. This was eight months ago. ? The ones in Texas is not even close. I spent $100 in 5 days eating one meal a day from this place.“
“Drove to Springfield from Arkansas to get some cashew chicken and heard that Canton Inn was where we should go. We tried the cashew chicken which was great- the chicken was crispy and juicy, and the dish was served with plenty of sauce. We also ordered beef lo mein, hot and sour soup, and egg drop soup. The lo mein was incredibly flavorful, though the beef was slightly dry. The hot and sour soup was good, but it had bits of chicken in it which were also a bit dry. The egg drop soup was very thick and somewhat bland. We appreciated the affordable pricing more than anything. The service was great with friendly and accomodating staff, and the food was served piping hot and quickly. I noticed that many other guests were ordering the General Tso's Chicken and Sesame Chicken so those must be popular!“
“I can't seem to locate the Sunshine Streetlocation on Yelp, so I'm leaving my review for that location of Hong Kong Inn on the Glenstone Hong Kong Inn location's yelp page. My partner and I drove from Arkansas to Springfield in search of good Chinese food and were so pleased with Hong Kong Inn on Sunshine Street! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, beef lo mein, and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were some of the best we've ever had- they were stuffed to the brim with the cream cheese filling, and the sweet and sour sauce that accompanied had nice little bits of pineapple in it. The beef lo mein had a great flavor, the beef was tender, and the broccoli was cooked perfectly (still somewhat crunchy). The sweet and sour chicken was so tasty, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We also had the option to choose either white or dark meat for the sweet and sour chicken. The food was served promptly and was piping hot coming out. We will definitely be back next time we visit.“
“We recently were in town and had to stop by some of our old favorites. We often will order the Springfield style cashew chicken when ordering takeout here. This time we were surprised by how few cashews (and green onions) were on our meals. Maybe 3-5 cashew pieces?? I did see where you can order a side of cashews/onions but didn't think it would be necessary. The service is otherwise fine, but we were a little disappointed by our "cashew chicken" entrees.“
“Chicken Lo Mein noodles, Sweet and Sour Chicken combo meal, Kung Pao Chicken (not really spicy).Quality chicken! Customer service is good.Only complaint is not being able to dine in, they still have CV concerns. I'm sure I won't return until we are able to dine in, it's not reasonable to sit in the car and eat or drive a long-distance home. Eating in the car or cold food loses the point of eating out.“
