“We had a table reserved and arrived a few minutes early. The place was packed but they immediately seated us and were very attentive. We were quickly waited on, drinks showed up, order taken and food was on our table very timely. Friendly staff, excellent food and great prices. We could not have had a better experience. I highly recommend!“

“Our party enjoyed our evening, with fresh fish and lots of side dishes to choose from. Although the food was tasty, we had to wait a long time to get each course. And a drink that was ordered by one of our party didn't come with the other drinks, and it was at least 20 minutes later before we were told that that drink was no longer available. The replacement drink took another 15 minutes. We didn't have this issue when we had dined there two other times in the past year.“
“Evangeline’s has a classic Central West End vibe, with charming patio seating, a modern New Orleans–style interior, great Cajun food, and live music. Our table enjoyed gumbo, shrimp and grits, and beans-and-rice dishes, along with excellent wine. We were there on a Thursday, when ambient noise was lower, so the music was a little loud for our table conversation, but we took dessert to go and thoroughly devoured that too. Great local restaurant!“

“Best filet I’ve had at a restaurant in years—perfectly cooked and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The au poivre sauce was rich and dreamy. Warm, crusty bread with their butter-olive oil combo started things off right. Shrimp scampi was spot-on. Fries with the steak were crisp and addictive, especially with the aioli and ketchup. Sat at the bar—service was good, just needed a touch more attention. Overall, killer meal. I’ll be back.

“Love gulf shores! Went tonight to the St. Peter’s location and had a yummy dinner. The host was a young man and did a great job and our waitress was lovely and on top of it! Two elderly women came in a the younger of the two was extremely rude and entitled to the host (the young man). Rudely demanding a different table each time he tried to seat them. I just wanted to point out how well he handled it and that he stayed professional and kept a smile on his face the whole time. He deserves kudos. I told her on the way out to tone down her entitlement and not to be so rude to staff and she spiraled. Not shocking. I’m not a fan of treating those in the service industry rudely. Again he handled it very well. Good job to him!“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

We arrived shortly after 430pm and we're taken immediately to a seat and we're given some seafood bread.
Our food came pretty fast.
We had the boudin balls, fried catfish, fried gator, and 3lbs of snow crab legs.
Everything was delicious!! Can't wait to go back.“

“Once again Capital Grille delivered a wonderful dinner! For me, it's the only way to “cheat” on my restrictive “heart healthy” diet! Filet with Béarnaise, a perfect medium rare, triple cut bacon appetizer, lobster Mac'n Cheese, and roasted Brussels sprouts! Finished to perfection with their house made “Strawberry Basil” Sorbet! They helped me ensure we had enough food for everyone, the order was hot, ready on time, accurate and the relatives are still talking about how good it was. “THIS POST IS ABOUT THE HOLLYWOOD CASINO LOCATION.... I SAW NO OPTION TO REVIEW ON THAT PAGE. HOLLYWOOD CASINO CHARLIE GITTO's.... MELISSA IS AN AMBASSADOR TO YOUR BRAND!!!! After taking our Grandchildren for pics with Santa, we stopped at Charlie Gitto's and were WOWED by Melissa and her teammates. Our four grandkids; ages 13 to 1, were all treated with respect, acknowledged and included, and able to see for themselves what kind of great service they should both provide in their future careers and expect from the providers they choose. The food was great, (veal, steak, seafood pasta, calamari, mocktails and cocktails, apps to dessert all was wow.) The table was perfect for our needs. The kids weren't trapped in a booth so if they needed they could have gone to restroom... but they were never bored or impatient. Everything was timed perfectly. Our Middle fella could watch the kitchen while he anticipated his dessert. Melissa coordinated the food runners, bussers etc all while making sure we had all we needed for a wow evening. Seriously.. management... listen.. I don't know her but If I thought I could hire Melissa away... I'd try. Do what you need to keep her and people will keep coming back. My wife and our grandchildren were all very happy to have a dinner we won't forget. Bottom line... the kids talked more about dinner than they did about Santa. Thank you Melissa and thank you Charlie Gitto's.“
