“I stopped into Waterbird Coffee in downtown KC and ordered a brown sugar cinnamon latte, and it was absolutely delicious, especially on a cold day. The balance of sweetness and warm spice was spot on, and the espresso flavor still came through nicely in every sip. The coffee was terrific. The place had a funky yet welcoming vibe. Today 12/15/23, I invited my coffee ☕️ group to meet there & they were equally impressed. We’ll be back.“

“This record store/ coffee shop is a rare gem. We were blown away by the selection of vinyl from all different genres. We didn't have coffee, so no review about that, but the coffee bar area looked clean and welcoming. The owner took the time to help us select a record from a local band. We're from out of town and wanted to take a gift back for a friend. He asked us a few questions and helped us make the selection. He knew a lot about the local music scene and was friendly.“

Our coffee is produced in Minas Gerais, one of Brazil’s main coffee-growing regions, in a mountain area at approximately 1,100 meters of altitude.
This high-altitude environment provides a mild climate and slow cherry maturation, resulting in coffees with good sweetness, balance, and a clean cup profile.

He was polite and patient with us as we decided which drink would be best to try first. He gave us the wonderful recommendation of trying the Blended Fruit Punch with the sour candy straw and it did not disappoint. It was tasty, exciting and our new favorite beverage on the market! “We stopped at Overflow Coffee while we happened to be in the area, and we are so glad we did! First of all, Mark and Hannah were both so wonderful and kind. They had made one of our drinks hot on accident when it was supposed to be iced and we offered to pay for the new one (we also changed the syrup flavor) but they gave it to us for free and were so kind about it. The coffees were delicious and the spinach, bacon, and swiss crepe was fantastic!! They have a gluten free crepe option and it was great. They roast their own beans and make their own syrups and you can tell they put thought & care into everything they make. The hot coffee cups also had Bible verses written on them which I loved. “Large book collection, free wi-fi (even in the oarking lot which is huge). This library is frequented by families with small children and toddlers, but generally the areas designated for kids are well separated from the main open floor plan, so other than when those families are arriving or departing, it's relatively quiet. The large building seems newer or recently remodeled. There are several tables with in-floor electrical receptacles (to plug in laptop or device charger, for example). I've been a few times and it was easy to read ir study because of the quiet atmosphere (ya know, like a library). There are family restrooms on the east end of the building, and a nursing room with upholstered chairs and a solid door for privacy; and 'men's and women's' restrooms on the west end. All three times I've been, it was well staffed and there are several self service kiosks. A great library just north of the Liberty shopping center area on what appears to be a historic property with manicured grounds.“

“Children’s Mercy Ophthalmology Clinic on Broadway gave my daughter her life back. She had a lazy eye and they suggested strabismus surgery at their Children’s Mercy Kansas campus in Overland Park KS. She had it done on January 14th 2026. We noticed after a week of her surgery she was not falling near as bad. Her depth perception is so much better. Dr. Allyson was amazing and referred us to her colleague Dr. Can who did my daughters procedure. I would 10/10 recommend this place for your children’s eye needs. They are very well educated and equipped for a lot of conditions!“
