“Awful!!! The chicken was grease soaked & pink, the noodles were overcooked, the Alfredo sauce had so much grease and oil sitting on top. I took a few bites & hours later threw up! The "manager" was supposed to call me for a refund and that never happened. I will never be back or ever recommend. Horrible customer service - thanks for the hour wait for the meal delivery as well as food that was not edible. Also the no call back "to make it right"“

“The Wise Guy has officially become our downtown KC go-to! 🍕✨ The pizzas are downright addictive, the happy hour is spot-on, and the vibe is always lively. We’re consistently impressed by every single member of the team — from the hosts to the bartenders, servers, and owners — their warmth and hospitality shine every time. Just last night, we brought in a large group, and they went above and beyond to create the most magical evening for all of us. Bonus: it’s located right on the KC Streetcar line, which makes getting there a total breeze! 🚋🙌“

“I couldn't help but notice a review about 13 or 14 down the list here from back in July from a Katie Lee. Because you thought it was necessary to write and post such a childish and scathing review of your horrible experience at this establishment that clearly has It out for you and your family blah blah blah. I felt the need to tell you to go get fucked and get struck by lightning or eaten by sharks...... reminded me why I moved away from liberty years ago and occasionally go back for things like a nice laid back well served lunch on the square. And that's about it...“

“The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“This small family owned business went on their way to make a Grandma's birthday dinner special from her granddaughter who is 1900 miles away. Ross went out of his way and delivered her special birthday dinner and dropped it off after he got off working I truly appreciate their kindness“

“We had a family Christmas dinner for 22 over the holidays at Cafe Verona. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Our incredible server, Andy, was attentive to the needs of the adults, teens, and children at all times! He truly made the special evening a success! Everything was set up early, including items for the children, to keep their attention and maximize the time together as a family. All of the dishes were outstanding, and my personal favorite was the mushroom lover's pasta and the lasagna (for my husband). The appetizers of house made hummus, garlic bread, and calamari were also enjoyed by all! If you have not tried Cafe Verona, give it a whirl. You will not regret the decision. Also, take a stroll around the beautiful historic Independence Square and enjoy the scenery, history, and wonderful shops. Show less Date of visit: December 2023“

“Good meal! It had been probably 15 years since I had previously eatenat an Olive Gardeb but we decided to come in for the unlimited pasta special they had and we enjoyed our meals. Salad was great and the options for building up your own custom pasta were delicious!“

“Just ordered 2 pizzas and desert. Let's just say all the custom toppings i added on the pizza were placed with care and very well proportioned . Every bite had everything I had added onto the pizza. Sauce was great, toppings tasted fresh and crust was very good compared to other big pizza chains out there. It was perfection 👌! . Delivery was quick and the delivery guy was very professional and customer service oriented.“

“It is a chill place I never get tired of this place it has so much to choose from. The manager Anthony and the cook John make some fire pizza. They take big orders as well and get it done right the first time.
Parking: Small lot but you can park on the street.“

“I ordered the Tostado pizza, and it was great!!! The pretzel bites are so good!! Service was not necessarily bad, but our waitress forgot we were there. She didn't come back to our table for almost an hour. We asked another waitress for to go boxes, and then our waitress came back and apologized for forgetting us. It was not busy, so we shouldn't have been forgotten.“

“Ordered this from uber eats. OMG!!!!! Everything was soooo good! Huge portions! Cooked to perfection! Idk where the photos that are on here from before came from but please disregard that other ones because this was perfect! I am a huge critic and I honestly thought I was going to be disappointed because I looked at the gogole review photos after I placed my order....and I am absolutely impressed. The quality and value here are unmatched. A certain burrito bowl and kids choice taco meal with chips and guac and a large queso cost the same to deliver as two catfish combos, a chicken strip combo and three drinks a shake and a chicken leg and mashed potatoes and gravy. The okra covered the entire bottom of the container, my daughter's chicken strip side, cheese fries came in it's own container and it was FULL. It took the driver 17 minutes to get here and the fish was still hot and the breading was still crispy e to enjoy. They didn't forget the sauces either! Also, they have strawberry Fanta.... bonus points. Again. I can't say enough. You have got to try this place.“
