“Awful!!! The chicken was grease soaked & pink, the noodles were overcooked, the Alfredo sauce had so much grease and oil sitting on top. I took a few bites & hours later threw up! The "manager" was supposed to call me for a refund and that never happened. I will never be back or ever recommend. Horrible customer service - thanks for the hour wait for the meal delivery as well as food that was not edible. Also the no call back "to make it right"“

“4 sisters, all born in the area, visiting KC for the first time since 1967! Found Anthony’s for some great Italian takeout. Reminded us of one of our favorite local Italian restaurants back home. Friendly hosts and staff, food was nicely packed and delicious. There was a mistake on the online menu but they went above and beyond to make it right, offering a refund and Reid called us to be sure we would get our money back before they closed for the night. “The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“We had a family Christmas dinner for 22 over the holidays at Cafe Verona. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Our incredible server, Andy, was attentive to the needs of the adults, teens, and children at all times! He truly made the special evening a success! Everything was set up early, including items for the children, to keep their attention and maximize the time together as a family. All of the dishes were outstanding, and my personal favorite was the mushroom lover's pasta and the lasagna (for my husband). The appetizers of house made hummus, garlic bread, and calamari were also enjoyed by all! If you have not tried Cafe Verona, give it a whirl. You will not regret the decision. “The Italian steak sandwich that I had today had no flavor. When I asked if I could have a small amount of sauce, they said yes and brought it. It didn't add any flavor and then they charged me $2.00 for the sauce. I will never eat at Frank's again.“

“The food was delicious however we were told that the gigantor size was approximately the size of three large pizzas. This is factually incorrect.

The gigantor pizza has an area of 0.343 square meters.

A large has an area of 0.01 square meters.

This means that the large is only 28,863 100,000ths of a gigantor, where a full third would be 33,333/100,000ths.

I’m calling upon Governor Mike Kehoe to address this discrepancy in the volume of Prime Cut I received. I’m not a wasteful person but having an extra 0.187 square feet of pizza to take home was not in the plans and I was unable to fit the remainder in my Pizza Deep Freezer.“

“It is a chill place I never get tired of this place it has so much to choose from. The manager Anthony and the cook John make some fire pizza. They take big orders as well and get it done right the first time.

A certain burrito bowl and kids choice taco meal with chips and guac and a large queso cost the same to deliver as two catfish combos, a chicken strip combo and three drinks a shake and a chicken leg and mashed potatoes and gravy. The okra covered the entire bottom of the container, my daughter's chicken strip side, cheese fries came in it's own container and it was FULL. It took the driver 17 minutes to get here and the fish was still hot and the breading was still crispy e to enjoy. They didn't forget the sauces either! Also, they have strawberry Fanta.... bonus points. Again. I can't say enough. You have got to try this place.“
