We arrived shortly after 430pm and we're taken immediately to a seat and we're given some seafood bread.
Our food came pretty fast.
We had the boudin balls, fried catfish, fried gator, and 3lbs of snow crab legs.
Everything was delicious!! Can't wait to go back.“

“First time visit. Went for our anniversary. The attention to detail was excellent. We've spent a lot more at similar steakhouses and haven't had nearly the wonderful experience as we had here! Being seated by the manager was a nice touch. Prior to going, the only thing we knew was that it was attached to a Holiday Inn, which made us suspect and we thought we'd be severely disappointed. But since it got a good rating on Yelp we chanced it-- we're so glad we did! The cocktails were delicious and interesting. The wine list superb. We LOVED the salads that arrived "family style"- a Caesar and a mixed-greens salad choice. They came with homemade dressings that I wanted to drink from the bowls! Our steaks were cooked to our liking. I ordered the filet Oscar style and it was delicious! There were many choices of sides from which to choose. We ordered the whipped potatoes, asparagus, and the pepper cream sauce for my wife's filet and they were all yummy! Finally, we were given a free large slice of their "wedding cake" (vanilla cake with a phenomenal almond buttercream frosting) for dessert and devoured it! Don't hesitate going here. We think you'll enjoy it as much as we did!!“

“It is my daughter’s 16th birthday today and we made a reservation at their sister restaurant Bristol’s awhile back. It’s her favorite place to go because of the fried cauliflower. We got a call today and they had a fire so they couldn’t open but graciously made us a reservation at j Gilbert’s. My son got sick so I had to stay home but they called me and said they made her the fried cauliflower that she loves at Bristol’s tonight at j Gilbert’s!! My family said everyone is being so nice and definitely made my daughters night!! Thank you so much for all you did to make her 16th so special!! You guys are amazing!! I can’t thank you enough!!!“
“Great food and friendly staff. We tried the meatball sandwich on cheese bread and the Italian beef. Both were excellent. A generous portion of juicy meat and cheese on fresh bread. The potato salad and pasta salad were very flavorful. Looking forward to our next visit.“

“The food was fresh and delicious. The folks working clearly communicated times and I even heard them worn others of long waits before taking orders. Not much atmosphere to speak of. It’s your old school pickup Chinese restaurant. Pictures are of general tso chicken and orange chicken. It IS NOT heavily breaded like many other places. It felt light and healthIER than other Chinese places. I’d highly recommend!“

“The place was amazing. Great food and wonderful service provided by Tom. It had ambiance, something missing in many places. This had the charm and finesse that is often missed in the new LOUD places. This place was packed but still quiet and the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Not cheap but well worth the money.“

“The BEST Mexican restaurant I have been to in the St. Louis area! The atmosphere is very cozy, unique and kinda Hip! The service is outstanding and the bartender we had, Wolfgang, was very personable, outgoing and got to know our names!! Who does that!?!? We got a table for eight within 15 minutes of having a drink at the bar! We will be back.“

“Yes! Finally found a good Chinese restaurant in Jefferson County. The veg fried rice was loaded with large chunks of vegetables. Sesame chicken had a wonderful sauce and the chicken was crispy and delicious. Crab Rangoon was large and loaded. Fried dumplings which I don’t like- I really liked these! I had a feeling it was going to be good because their phone never stopped ringing with new orders being placed. I will be back!“

“Not fancy but excellent food and drinks! Prices great. Large glass of Sangria $3.49 and a heavy pour Patron margarita $10!!!! They are updating the interior and new owners have really updated their menu!“
