“Many, many years ago" late 70s" when I first had Mugs Up. Lived in kC, Independence, Lees summit. Mugs up was a couple times a week thing. Moved away in 91, back to Ga. Everytime I go to KC, to see family and friends I also have to visit mugs Up, my favorite as well as the Pizza Fun House.“

“Wow! Why is Chick-fil-A the only fast food chain that gets it? The food is good, but that isn't what makes this place busy all day long. The service and convenience are amazing. Two covered drive-thru bays with real people helping you with your order is just the beginning. A kitchen that cranks out the CORRECT order by the time you reach the window is the icing on the cake. Maybe the management of McD's, Wendy's, and BK should stop by here for lunch and figure out why their places are empty, and Chick-fil-A has traffic backed up all the way to the street.“

“My food was hot and ready to go. I had cheese sticks and Alfredo pasta. They were tasty but they could have been more generous by filling up the tiny cup of marinara for the cheese sticks. The store is easy to find and access. It was clean and the atmosphere was okay. The staff was not friendly. They were not rude but felt more like an assembly line than genuine enthusiasm for me as a paying customer.“

“Every night I get off work this and McDonalds are the only thing that’s open. I don’t know his name, the really tall heavier set man with long brown hair, when I hear his voice over the speaker I know my meal is going to be good bc he’s always so kind and patient. Would rather choose this place than the dumpster fire McDonalds across the street who are always rude, that’s if they even bother to take your order.“

This is the model that other stores should strive to be.
I was on my way home(Blue Springs), decided I wanted something to eat, not really a big Arby's Blue Springs fan but yet here I was, the lady that took my order was exceptional, no much so that instead of grabbing a sandwich and heading rest the way home, I ended up with a large meal and 2 extra sandwiches for eat in.
Just Great customer service all the way around, that's something you dont get to experience enough anymore, refreshing.“

“Ok first off it's a family run business that takes their business very seriously! They are usually busy (bc their food and prices are simply unbeatable). They ALWAYS have greated me with a smile. Very friendly family. Thr food and price is literally the best your going to find period! Not much atmosphere bc it's not a big place, but they have a small dine in area. Service is great but they are usually busy and most often cook your order fresh so it might take them 5 muinets to get it to you.“

Not nearly as bad as the sugar creek Taco Bell. But not great. Food here has always been MOSTLY correct. Always hot and fresh. Employees have always been nice. Only issues are 1.) continuously forget forks when needed and napkins.
2.) when you order something they’re out of, they won’t ask what you’d like instead, they just substitute it themselves with something that usually doesn’t even make sense. Has happened to me thrice. This time, I ordered a side of queso blanco. They substituted with sour cream. The reasonable choice would’ve been nacho cheese.

Not a big deal but a weird, slightly negative quirk that I’ve noticed as a pattern.“

Brandi goes above and beyond to make sure every customer feels welcomed and taken care of. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and leadership truly stand out. You can tell she takes pride in her work and sets a great example for the entire team. She made sure my order was perfect and even took the time to check in and make sure everything was just right.
