“Randomly walked by Friday night looked it up thought let's give it a try. Totally packed no reservations and they worked us in within 20 minutes at the bar and what an unbelievable surprise. Everyone was happy, friendly, and full of recommendations. The drinks were absolutely perfect and the food was next level good. This place is our new go to in KC. Go Now and do not WAIT“

Both the New York and Detroit style pizzas are on point!
I can’t stress enough how remarkable that is, most places can’t even hit a homer with one style.

We ordered whole fresh pies so I can’t comment on the ready-to-go by the slice stuff, but they looked really good and people came and went who seemed quite happy with there slices.

They were playing high volume 90’s hip hop in the simple yet small dining room. There is a long bar where you can easily grab a slice while enjoying the hip decor add in the very friendly staff, and in the words of Black Rob (who was playing when we walked in) “Woah!”“

“I remember Leo coming into my gas station back in the early nineties. He was always smiling always happy and he loved his family. Being a girl from New York I had to try this different style of pizza. Leo’s is definitely a different style but it’s also a delicious style. We just bought a couple of pizzas on Saturday and they’re still delicious all these years later. I love the homey atmosphere at Leo’s and I love their pizzas and Anna Marie’s dressing, don’t ever change a thing. 🥰🥰“

The service was lovely with the staff being so knowledgeable and welcoming. Chef Kelly and Josh are an amazing team with outstanding ideas for their restaurant. I admire the passion they both have and I'm forever grateful that I was invited to dinner by Kelly. The culinary creations just kept making their way to my table and it was absolutely divine.
Our meal started with the Foccacia. The. Best. Thing. On. Earth. So airy and flavorful. Next was the chicken meatballs. The sauce was so full and the flavors flowed together seamlessly. Afterwards, we had the Triangoli was the best pasta dish I've ever eaten. Sweet, savory and extremely original. I couldn't get enough if I'm honest. To finish we got the Tiramisu and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Just as mind-blowing as everything else. The presentation was beautiful.
Please please take your time to stop in here. Every second and penny was so well spent.

“We showed up unannounced at 7:30pm and requested seating for maybe 8~12 people. Ellaina was more than accommodating. Even as the number fluctuated, they were never flustered, just did whatever necessary with professionalism and poise. And there was already another large party there. Rowan took marvelous care of our table, and her graciousness was appreciated by all. The salads and pizzas were delicious. The atmosphere decidedly upscale. I sincerely recommend Minsky's Pizza Joint in Blue Springs. We'll be back.“

“This place has been on our list for quite some time to visit, well we finally made it here today. We were the first ones in when they opened the doors at 4pm. Andi was our server, and she was incredible from start to finish. We started with an order of the original wings and ordered a 39th Street pizza. The wings were possibly some of the best I've ever had, the sauce was phenomenal. The pizza was also outstanding (the crust, the sauce and the toppings). I’m calling upon Governor Mike Kehoe to address this discrepancy in the volume of Prime Cut I received. I’m not a wasteful person but having an extra 0.187 square feet of pizza to take home was not in the plans and I was unable to fit the remainder in my Pizza Deep Freezer.“

“No hype here. Just good quality comfort and reliable service. I don't love this type of food on the regular, but for bar food and basics, they do a great job and have a good variety of options. Their pizzas are good, the Italian sandwich delicious, and my favorite are their homemade potato chips. Plus it's easy in, easy out, with spacious booths, perfect for taking my mother-in-law, who needs a little assistance getting around. And wear whatever you want! Oh, and no one side glances you if you (or your partner, in my case) orders a whiskey at lunchtime.“
