Being a girl from New York I had to try this different style of pizza. Leo’s is definitely a different style but it’s also a delicious style. “What a wonderful addition to our limited fine dining options on the North Side. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. We started with their sourdough foccacia, and it was easily the best foccacia that either my wife or I have ever had. It was smooth, velvety soft and tender on the inside, nicely browned on top, then complimented perfectly with a slight crisp on the bottom. It comes with their signature herbed olive oil and cheese blend for dipping, and together they were sheer perfection. For entrées, my wife had the braised short rib pasta chef's special, and I had the filet with fois gras glaze chef's special. Both were wonderfully delicious, if on the small side. To top it all off, we had the saffron ice cream dessert special, which was refreshingly unique and delicious. Our waiter, William, was also excellent and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the food preparation. All in all, it was a great experience. We will be back!“
