“We happened upon this place, honestly. Because we needed to use the restroom but, we wanted to be good patrons and checked out the menu. Opted for the Jerk Chicken Bao Bun & Blackened Shrimp appetizers.
Oh my god!! I swear, they have the absolute BEST jerk chicken I've ever tasted. Perfectly grilled/smoked and flavorful and just the right spice, on a soft steamed bun. The blackened shrimp was also phenomenal with great char and served atop jerk sauce and tropical fruit to complement the heat & sweetness.
The gentleman who served us (our bill said his name was Jims D) what a great conversationalist. We talked about the history of the place and how they are working to get their liquor license (which is taking quite a bit of time with the city, btw). We were having about the food and he mentioned another dish they were cooking up, which included this amazing cheezy/garlicky mashed potatoes. Tasted like it had both regular & sweet potatoes. If we weren't already so full, we would've got some to go!!

“In town for the week and looking for something with heart, this place popped up as a local favorite and now I understand why. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine kindness and warm energy that you could feel in the room.

It was a little busy, which is always a good sign, but we scored a sidewalk table and that is totally my vibe. The Baba falafel on pita was absolutely soul satisfying. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and made with love.

Inside, the decor is beyond charming. Whoever designed the space clearly knows how to mix color and texture with personality. Honestly, I want them to come decorate my house next.

“I’ve heard of Equal Minded in the past, but recently a friend hosted an event there and it was great! The space was easy to set up in, the coffee and snacks were great & the customer service. Since then, if I am in the area and I need to get work done, it’s becoming more of a place to pop into. The more I get to know about what they offer and the small businesses they support, the more I enjoy becoming a customer there. I also really like that they have some Sugar Free options & I really like their Honey Lavender Matcha too!“

LOL and there was some new servers so they weren't very attentive to us but we would go back every day if it were possible. Our kids even love Vietnam Cafe“

“Had a wonderful brunch there. The menu doesn't have anything outlandish on it, mostly brunch staples. But everything was prepared perfectly. Bacon super crip, breakfast potatoes golden brown and the poached eggs had that perfect jammy-not-too-runny yolk. Spritz 39 was a great cocktail.“

“Me and my mom stopped by while in town for a concert and everything literally was PERFECT. we have been raving in the car since leaving and Tiffany was the most perfect server that we were blessed with. We had the pretzel app, the stockyard fries, and the mac and cheese with bacon and everything was out quickly and again, absolutely astonishing!!! much love to Tiffany, and because she was so proactive we got to the concert DEAD ON time.“

She knew we were headed to the opera and kept a close watch on time with our service so we would not be late. I'd definitely ask for her again! We were seated next to the entrance to the servers station/kitchen and there was a ton of traffic whizzing by our table, which was a little distracting. Someone has to sit there, but it seems like they could have put our table for two somewhere less intrusive (we were at a four top). It was not a full restaurant, so I'm not sure why were were seated smack in the middle of kitchen traffic. The food was amazing, as always. Pierpont's has been a family favorite for decades and the food is the # 1 reason we keep returning.“

The owners are so kind and genuine quick to strike up a conversation. And their house made chai tea is absolutely to die for, I will definitely be back time and time again for that alone. “This place is just an absolute delight. The employees are so friendly and helpful. The crepes are just beyond incredible. It is so relaxing and fun to grab a table and just enjoy the vibe for a bit. The menu includes just a little bit of everything. The peach crisp crepe I just had was sooooo good!“

This is a moist cupcake with great lemon flavor, and I have no idea how they made such amazing vegan buttercream. The owner told me they are a highly symptomatic celiac so the space is strictly GF. I would go back in a second. For three treats and two bottles of water, I only spent $17.“
