When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. “Went there yesterday for my birthday. First time visiting this place. Found them on instgram. They definitely are living up to the grams hype. Very elevated dishes. Asethically pleasing to the eye!! And even though the dishes were smaller than im used to, it was delicious. We had asparagus, pork schnitzel, icebox cake and more. Our server Damien made sure we had the best time . What I really love is the fact there menu changes every 6 weeks. Go check em out.“

Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. “Had this on the want to go list for some time. Finally made it.
Neat little restaurant that’s a bit of a hidden gem.
Small location. Quiet with a great seasonal menu. Wait staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu.
We ordered wine and entrees. The serving size was appropriate and not too much.
We asked for a special dessert. The waitress worked with the kitchen to accommodate our request. It was wonderful. (See pics for ice cream. Caramel and scotch)

“Been enjoying The Royale most weeks since 2015. Best bar and restaurant in town. A gem. Chill tavern vibes, DJs, local art, gorgeous courtyard, old movies, vinyl records, and a stellar menu. We were celebrating a birthday and they delivered. Had many shared plates all good. Nice wine to accompany food. Billy our server was spot on.“

“The Avenue came highly recommended and lived up to its reputation. I joined my siblings for lunch here. The staff was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu was expansive and delicious. Original Review:
I have ordered from here and went in person numerous times over the past year. In the last 3 months, it has really gone downhill. The last 2 times I went in person, the sweet potato fries were not able to be given to us because they said there was a 30 minute delay. They gave us macaroni instead which was nice, and promised a refund that I never received. Then, the last 3 doordashes the fries were hard, burnt, and inedible. It's a shame because I pay good money to eat healthier options at lunch, especially with my gallbladder being removed, so I can not worry about flare ups and feel confident that I can continue my work day, by eating healthier options, and not getting sick. This used to be my favorite place but I'm disheartened now. 😔 I wish it would let me upload the pics.“

“I drove down to the Boind’ry last night ( June 10, 2022 ) for drinks and dinner and a great time because it’s not only an after work businessman v bar but a mix of wealthy and not so wealthy clientele and sadly it was closed with 4 or 5 guys sitting in the bar talking who I am assuming we’re the owners.Come on guys do NOT shut Boundry down forever because I can tell you better that anyone what made your restaurant / bar the “it spot” for so many years and standing room only most nights in the bar….it was the super cool bartenders like Bruce doing magic tricks and all the other cool bartenders and attractive wait staff that poured great drinks and bartenders were all very entertaining!A bartender can either make or break a bar environment!Any problems of lost customers can be directly attributed to losing colorful charismatic bartenders so hire some great bartenders and open again and word will spread like wildfire and the line of crowds will be down the block again waiting to get in!Some restaurants have free hors d’oeuvres or shrimp or taco bar but none of that matters! What does matter is your bartenders!Years ago at TGI Friday on Ellison Place they had the best bartenders in town doing juggling tricks with bottles the bartenders nickname was Psycho! LolWonderful memories … same for Boundry!So stop obsessing over the menu and get the best bartenders and friendliest and funny and attractive bartenders possible and the Biundry will be the now “it spot” again for another 20 years!“

“Wife and I decided to hit the easy button after walking nine holes and grab lunch at Ruthie’s. Had been years since I’d eaten there, and certainly delivered! Sat on the patio overlooking the 9th hole, and bartender came to take our drink and food orders. Had the 2nd Shift Brooligan, which was a great IPA. We split a toasted ravioli app and the Crush Burger. Ravs we’re good, burger was absolute fire. Fries were hot and crispy, the way they should be!

Vegetarian options: They have a Black bean burger for the veggie in your life.“

“All the waitstaff, even the hosts and dishwashers, do a great job under pressure, in odd weather conditions where they led us to evacuate, suggesting menu orders, and keeping the place clean, harmonious, and hospitable. The chefs could do a lot better in pricing the menu, adding seasoning and larger portions, as well as not removing the popular dishes from the menu. The interior design is also eerie because the huge butterfly graphics do not suit the vibe but again the service here is unmatched.“

“The GF, Veg, and Vgn options are slim but not non-existent, there are a few mocktail options, and a few GF beers. Around 5 dessert options, nothing GF. Their sandwich and cocktail options are imaginative and unusual. Overall a very pleasant experience, the atmosphere is very good. The waitress Heather was VERY good at her job. She checked in with me just often enough, indulged my many questions, and was extremely kind. Heather if you read this, you are fantastic and you should be very proud of yourself, and of how you represent your company.“

“Visited St. Louis and stayed at the Hilton. We had breakfast at The Provinces restaurant and breakfast was delicious ordered the create your own omelette mushroom, green onion and Swiss $15 -- very good. Derek was our server and he was excellent. Ambience was nice and welcoming.“
