“I wish I took pictures of my food, but I was too hungry to wait. My meal was great. I got the toasted ravioli and the beer beerhouse burger, omg, I wanted to eat it all. I nearly changed my order 3-4 times watching all the amazing meals being taken to other customers. Our serve was absolutely wonderful!!! She got a list of IPA's for me, checked on us often and was just the sweetest thing!! The restaurant is far enough away from the casino so you don't hear all the c commotion from it or smell the smoke. I would eat here again if I come back to MO.“

“Great date spot patio - wonderful outdoor atmosphere. Super attentive waitstaff (great attention, recommendations, and personality). Cool cocktails and some really good beers available. The food was outstanding! The menu was basically laid out in order of smallest to biggest plates; the snacks were very much snack-sized, the small plates were still plenty enough to share, and the entrees were generous. Very creative and fun cuisine. The white anchovies that we requested on the side of our (outstandingly fresh and summery) tomato salad were the absolute best anchovies I have ever had - if you like anchovies and they have "white anchovies" on the menu, order! (Our waitress was nice enough to check in the restaurant pantry to find out the brand for me, which was very appreciated.) Though we were stuffed, we had dessert and the chocolate cake we ordered was decadent and a wonderful end to a fun and romantic meal. Totally recommend Little Fox, especially for a spontaneous date night out, whether you want to graze and sip cocktails or get a full dinner.“

“Stumbled upon this place while waiting for a haircut and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! SUCH a cute place with loads of STL history. I ordered a half fig, ham, & gouda grilled cheese and a side Stutz salad. The service was quick and friendly, despite the full house on a Saturday afternoon lunch hour. The grilled cheese was PERFECTION: the fig was a gentle enough sweetness that balanced out the gouda and ham wonderfully. The Stutz salad--named after one of the cars from this place's history!--was a delightful spring treat, with baby mandarin orange slices, homemade poppyseed dressing, and fresh goat cheese. I often forget how MUCH I love goat cheese when it's paired properly! What a great spot and what a great meal.“

“BEST Ribs! These are seriously some of the best ribs I have ever had. We had the Rocket Platter there were 4 of us and we left with a few ribs. The Platter included 3 sandwiches and 3 sides. The sandwiches we chose were pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket. All the sandwiches were excellent. The sauces were good, the north Carolina BBQ sauce very authentic. The sides were BBQ beans, coleslaw and potato salad. Sides were all good, the coleslaw is very vinegar based no mayonnaise. Have I mentioned the ribs? Soo good. The owner and folks who work there are extremely friendly which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is smaller so that might be a consideration for a larger group. They have good parking. HIGHLY recommend!“

“Great brunch @ Russell's ! The cinnamon roll is a must try. And it's huge!!!! The portion sizes are very generous, probably could have shared the BLATE. Everything was fresh and the menu had lots of variety. Definitely excited to go back and try some other dishes. Cute, clean restaurant. Indoor, outdoor, and covered patio seating. Friendly staff and the bakery items are all so tasty. I especially love the cupcakes and brownies. We went on a sunday around 10:30 without a reservation, the wait was 30 minutes but we expected it so didn't bother us.“

“Our server Josh (yes, coincidence) nailed it. Attentive but not overbearing. The cocktails were a hit too, and I'd recommend the Apple Bottom Jeans and the Violet Mojito.My wife and I stuck to small plates as we weren't in the mood for large plates. The lobster roll was out of this world, and while it looks small, they manage to pack so much delectable lobster into it. The pork belly was also incredible though it was light on the amount of pork belly in it. The spam fried rice was really good. The chili flakes elevate the entire plate, but if you don't like spicy food, I might suggest you get something else. Finally, the cheddar biscuits...they weren't very good. They were a bit tough, not fluffy, and were portioned in a way that made them awkward to eat (too tall). I would not recommend the biscuits. But overall, great experience, 4.5/5.“

“A Charming historic Ice-cream Parlor that is a wonderful time capsule. This place is a must visit if you come to the Arch, it's a 10 minute drive at best. “First time here. We made reservations in advance and found parking to be convenient. The restaurant's décor was warm and inviting, with white subway tiles behind the bar and blue banquettes around the dining area. The bartender was really knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations. For starters, we had blue crab gratin and hand-cut steak tar tar, both for $12. The crab was spicy and creamy, and the tar tar was presented alongside warm dollops of slow-cooked egg yolk. They were both gorgeous. Our main dish was gnocchi with lamb ragu and goat cheese, which cost $18. The creamy goat cheese was the ideal compliment to the lamb ragu, and the gnocchi had a nice soft center. The portions were just right, and we left feeling satisfied. Very positive atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious cocktails as well. If you want to seal a good day with a good mood, head here.“

“Five starts in every way! Adorable space, impeccable service, and delightful food and drink! I brought a friend and two older adults. We each had something different--biscuits and gravy, the stuffed French toast, and a burger. Everyone loved everything. We also had drinks. I love my gin and tonic and the black pepper and? Bloody Mary was delicious. I also took some sandwich cookies and some gooey butter cake home! Perfection! I can't wait to come back to the Blue Duck!“

“MUST VISIT IN STL! Coming from NYC, this is hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to lately from the drinks, food, service, and all around vibes. They put an incredible amount of detail into everything and it shows. The craft cocktails are innovative, yet approachable, and extremely well-balanced. They also carry a unique variety of spirits on the menu that you can’t find anywhere else.One drink I especially loved and recommend is the Budgy Smuggler made with their housemade clarified milk. You can also order off the entire Yellowbelly food menu (sister restaurant next door) and every dish we tried was amazing. Get the raw and hot fried oysters, beef fat fries, lump crab fritters, elote taquitos, brussels, charred carrots, pork belly, green curry salmon, and grilled hangar steak. “Last night , I spent hours searching for the best restaurants in St Louis and I stumbled upon this one. The reviews were amazing and let me tell you, the reviews were correct. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We tried the bulgogi and rice bowl, the charred wings, and cheese fries. We also tried a peach shot, they didn’t taste strong but the results were. I normally don’t visit a restaurant more than once but I’ll be a repeat customer anytime that I’m in town. I also loved the customer service. The woman taking my order was very cheery and made me feel welcomed. Many of the customers are repeat customers that were also talkative and welcoming. I’ve been to hundreds of restaurants and this one is definitely in my top 5.“

“By far me and my husband’s favorite place to get food hands down. We have eaten here many times and i have had just about everything on the menu at this point and I have not been disappointed with a single thing. By far my favorite thing here is the ribeye dinner meal for the price it’s wonderful and extremely filling. “I go here every week for trivia and it's amazing all around. The staff is friendly and cool, the food is ALWAYS fantastic (I have an actual fear of mayonnaise but I dip their fries in their house rosemary mayo and it's incredible). The owner is really awesome and the trivia is the best in town. Great vibes! There's a pool table and darts, bathrooms are spacious and clean (and gender inclusive). “The real note to make here is that our server was absolutely outstanding, she was so pleasant, knowledgeable, kind and attentive to our table... Probably the best server / waitress I have encountered in a very long time. She was a delight. The food was very good. The only thing I had some pretty mixed emotions about was that we were asked to leave after 75 mins due to an incoming reservation. We had a reservation at 5:00 and there was a table at the bar we moved to to finish our cocktails... the couple that was with us were a little more bothered than I was over it, but I would probably still go again. It was a overall a good experience.“

“Somehow I forgot to review SSC when I ate here a few months ago, which is weird because I tell everyone how great it was.The ambiance here is very nice and the service is fantastic. But of course the food is the driving force here. The beef tartare was an awesome and unique appetizer that you'll only see at a high end place. The broccoli salad was excellent and presented beautifully. The duck was by far the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked on the inside with an amazing crunch and sauce on the outside. The chicken and pasta were also both great.I keep a list of restaurants in St Louis to try, from burger places to high end establishments. Sidney Street Cafe will remain at the top of that list and I'll be back for sure.“
