I adore their avocado toast, which may require a pinch of salt and pepper, but paired with eggs, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, and their other delectable options, it's a match made in heaven. Their breakfast sandwiches featuring herbal cream cheese are a game-changer - incredibly delicious and deserving of accompaniment with every order. The service is exceptionally friendly, kind, and welcoming, with the female owner being an absolute gem. She showers my dogs with love and attention, mirroring the top-notch care she provides to her customers. Undoubtedly, this is the ultimate coffee haven in Maplewood.“

“Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.“

“Very small coffee shop in a converted auto repair shop. It is pretty small; so not a great place to just chill out as people are generally on top of each other. The coffee is excellent. The prices are a little higher than most other local coffee shops. If the weather permits, they do have a little outdoor patio in the back. A very small parking lot for about 3 cars. Street parking is available.“

“Cute little coffee shop that's now known as The Press. I've had this bookmarked for a bit but the hours doesn't really work in my favour so it's great that I was able to stop by and try their coffee!

I got the matcha and was also able to sample the coffee. The area itself is open to stay in and do some work which is great.

“My family and I are visiting St Louis and stopped in Cafe de Blaire for some ice cream. It was homemade and delicious. On top of that, the owner was sooo kind and warm to my kids. She gave me a sample of a coffee drink and it was delicious. I went back today for more coffee. The other worker was there and also very kind. I am a coffee snob and both drinks I tried were GOOD. It's been surprising to me how many people don't know about the restaurant. It's been fun to introduce people to Mariposa for their first visit. “Took my husband to Hive this morning for Father’s Day breakfast. The wait staff is great! I had the absolutely delicious lamb chops, eggs, and breakfast potatoes while he had pancakes. He enjoyed one of my lamb chops to complete his meal. I highly recommend Hive if you want to have a great breakfast!“

We got the recommendation to come here to watch the Europa league final (which Manchester United sadly lost to Spurs) and we were pleasantly surprised to find the vibe to be exactly what we were looking for. The owners were really friendly and we chatted a lot on soccer, Man United etc. Their TVs have access to watch soccer all around Europe which is great. We ordered drinks and food too which was excellent, plus it was extremely reasonably priced. Definitely would go there again especially when there is a big game.“

Only drawback is the oil itself, a soybean blend instead of real EVOO. If Kaldi’s ever makes the switch to true Extra Virgin Olive Oil, I’d be here all the time.
I also did have to order extra protein as portions are on the smaller end.“

They have a small menu, with some seasonal items, but each thing I’ve had is absolutely delicious! The way they perfectly blend simple flavors, both in their food and their latte flavors, is nothing short of magical. Today I had the almond croissant and it is the perfect combination of buttery, nutty, flaky, and decadent; I got my 12 year old the pumpkin snickerdoodle and he actually said “mmm so soft and crispy with just the right amount of cinnamon.” Oh and the autumn flight was everything I hoped it would be! We got egg&cheddar biscuits and they were EXTREMELY crumbly, like eventually I gave up eating the biscuit part. The egg was dry. Would recommend a different food choice“

“Church/coffeehouse is beautiful. Outside eating area is also. Service is just ok, maybe because it was busy. Food needs some improvement. Veggie wrap and chicken Caesar salad were good. The summer salad was ok. The grilled cheese is a hard no. Barely toasted, seems to be no butter, and sourdough was not impressive. Hummus was perhaps the most flavorless hummus I have ever had.“
