“Amazing BBQ joint in NKC. The atmosphere is perfectly BBQ, wooden tables, BBQ theme decor, and almost a picnic feel. The tables are set with their 3 sauces (regular, spicy, and their take on a Carolina style), plus smoked ketchup. We tried the two meat platter: sliced sausage, burnt ends, Buffalo slaw, burnt end chili, plus Texas toast; and the brisket sandwich, which is my go to on a first visit. Everything was amazing! The brisket was sliced thin, not too thin, and not fatty at all. The burnt end chili was so full of flavor, and the slaw/beans were great. Hawg Jaw is definitely going in our rotation.“

“We went here three times yesterday. Yes, three times. We were at an event around the corner and were able to walk over. We ate at 5 of the venders. All were fabulous. Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.“

“We went here to celebrate my son’s birthday and we had exceptional service and enjoyed authentic Central American food options. Portions were generous and the food was delicious! Our wait staff were very attentive and accommodating. It was a friendly, cozy atmosphere with plenty of options. We will be back. Great place for a party with friends or to just enjoy an evening as a couple.

“Ate here yesterday and I want to give a huge shoutout to the manager Shauna (I hope I’m spelling your name right!), she was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure my mom and I got our food and were happy.She was working the drive though window, taking orders and payments and handing customers their order all at the same time! When ordering I had issues with my app and it was preventing me from using one of the deals for our meal. Shauna stayed calm as I got nervous from holding up the line for a few minutes. I told Shauna it wasn’t a big deal if I couldn’t get the app working I would just pay for my meal at full price, however she committed to getting it working for my mom and I, and within a minute or two she got us our meal with the deal applied!I appreciated her going out of her way to make sure my mom and I had a good experience and enjoyed the meal. Her positive attitude made us feel invited and welcomed, where as at other establishments when staff have an attitude over a problem/something wrong I feel unwelcome and unwanted.
