“We love Sugar & Slice! We have used them for birthday cakes in the past and we knew they would be best for our wedding cake. We just got married this past weekend in May and they did a fantastic job using our reference to build our cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. The texture was still soft and full of flavor. We can't recommend them enough. They also did an amazing spread of cookies and cinnamon rolls. “Wonderful donuts, the person who is usually there works so hard and is very personable. I do wish they would update their hours and closed times on Google. On more than one occasion I have made the time before work to pick up donuts for my office and have found it closed. They sell out of things early but that just shows how good they are and are trying to not have a bunch of waste at the end of the day.“

Let’s discuss the gooey butter cheesecake. I would rub this on my body. I am not being dramatic. Actually, I am being a little dramatic, but have you tried it?!

I also tried the Dubai chocolate cheesecake, because obviously I cannot be trusted around a dessert counter. It was delicious, but I honestly don’t know if anything can dethrone the gooey butter cheesecake for me.

The other fun part is that Patty’s is inside City Foundry, so a cheesecake run can turn into an entire outing. Wander through the food hall, explore the other vendors, grab a bite, and then reward yourself with dessert. Or start with dessert.

If you’re visiting St. Louis and want to try something that feels distinctly local, this is a worthy stop. And if you live here and haven’t tried the gooey butter cheesecake yet, I have some serious questions about your priorities.“

My husband and I stopped in and it was and amazing atmosphere. A calm and relaxing place. Quiet enough to read a book. it had so many option fo pastries and savory treats. I had such a hard time choosing what I wanted to try because everything looked so good. I ended up picking a few items and my husband another few. Everything I ate was so flavorful and delicately crafted. I fell in love with this place and was sad to know it might be a long time before I could try it again since I live 7 hors away.

Or so I thought until about a week ago I found a location for Tous les Jours an hour and half away from me in Omaha NE 🥹 I was so excited and have plans to try this location in the next few days. Review for that one soon to come.“
