“I have had a lot of food from Loafers over the past few years but never had enough information to write a review! They serve a more cafe-style menu during lunch, offering amazing soups, sandwiches and salads. I have eaten lunch at Loafers many times and loved every experience. During dinner service, they serve their amazing pizzas, which I only got to experience for the first time recently. We went with another couple and ended up getting their spinach pizza and their seasonal pizza, which had far too many elements to name. Both pizzas were amazing. The service was great, though they did seem to want to turn the table quickly, understandably, as they are quite busy constantly. Highly recommend this space, as it is not unreasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food and service you receive.“

“I ordered a Strawberry ready-to-go cake 2 days before my daughter’s birthday!! My daughter requested specifically strawberry cake not just a cake with strawberries on it. I had googled places in St. Louis who had strawberry cakes and randomly chose The Cakery Bakery. It was the BEST cake I have ever had. It was incredibly moist, frosting was perfectly sweet but not too sweet and decorated very nicely. I added multi-colored confetti sprinkles they offered. I was in and out very quickly and it was a wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend The Cakery Bakery!! I cannot wait to try more of your baked goods.“

“This place is amazing!!! I cannot say enough great things about it!! Everything was fresh and full of flavor!!! My kids loved the doughnuts, my husband’s breakfast sandwich was the best we’ve ever had, and my summer vegetable sandwich was out of this world!!! We will be back as soon as we can!!“

“This is my favorite Korean bakery in St Louis. I always come here for birthday cakes and bakeries. The store is always clean and neat. Staffs are friendly and helpful. My favorites are sweet potatoes cake, custard bread, cheese bread and sweet rice donut with red bean filling.“

“Cute bakery with great vegan treats and some gluten free options as well. The fried oysters were amazing, and I loved the homemade dips. Next time I really want to try the vegan Mac and cheese - it looked awesome! Staff was great, and cupcakes were divine. Definitely check it out if you can!

“Best cupcakes (and quite possibly dessert) you can get in the whole city.
The cake is perfectly moist, and the icing is of the perfect consistency. Strawberry, confetti, double chocolate, and oreo...YUM. I bet you can't just order one.
The staff is terrific and very helpful and friendly. I would recommend you use The Cup for a very special event where you need a dessert...like, perhaps, a wedding!! :)“

“After a delicious lunch next door, my family popped over to a very busy Helfers. Since it is Fat Tuesday we expected it to be busy, but it was packed. Staff was friendly and helpful and got through customers quickly. We had 6 people in front of us but we only waited maybe 10 minutes. We got a nice assortment of goodies and each one was delicious! My son loved his donut and I loved my lemon packzi! My husband got one of the strawberry stollens which we all enjoyed! Helpful hint: they have number tags for you to take for getting people the orser they come in. It might just be when they're busy but we didn't notice the numbers until someone else grabbed a number tag.“

“The cutest little bakery. Was recommended to me to try gooey butter cake while in STL and this was the closer place to us. It was busy on a Thursday at 3pm, so you know it’s a staple in the area! So many options, it was hard to choose. The man that helped us was so friendly. The cherry gooey butter cake and cream cheese muffin were SO SO good. I will be 10000% back for another butter cake when back in STL!“

“Great Bosnian diner. Place has nice decor. Clean and neat. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Tried few dishes here and everything tasted really good. Meat plater is a huge portion size so well worth the money. Doner Kebob is excellent as well. Also tried many of their deserts - spot on! One of my fav places to go. One downside: the menu. Wish there'd be an English translation you wouldn't have to ask staff to translate every time“

“I am always so excited to see Cham Bakery at the WashU Farmer's Market. The first time I went I spent quite a bit of money but not because they are expensive but because I bought a lot. The Zaatar bread, Cheese Pide are exceptional. (I would have taken a picture of the Pide I bought today but sadly it was gone too soon. No, I didn't drop it. I ate it. ) The pita was great, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was fantastic! The woman working the table is so polite and friendly. I believe her husband gets up early in the morning to bake. YES!! It's THAT fresh!!I'm looking forward to trying their hummus and other tasty morsels.I honestly can't recommend this food enough!!“

That is hard to do with flavored cheesecakes. Usually the added flavor is too dominant or the cheesecake is sort of sour. They have a loyal customer here. Great job.“

El Chico was so easy to work with, so kind, and so helpful. We already knew their baked goods were delicious (we always stop for some cookies at the Tower Grove Farmer's Market), but our guests raved about the empanadas. “Popped in looking for some pastries. Small queue in front with 2 young servers. Came away with a raisin bun, 2x onion, 2x muffins. Muffins discounted 2 for 1 during lunch hours (as advised by local in front) - both were tasty. Bread was a little on hard side, but warming in microwave helped soften them.“

“I want to say THANK YOU!!! I Just left the Dierbergs location in Des Peres and had the BEST customer service EVER!!! I was looking for beef short ribs. I asked the meat counter gentleman. he walked over with me to the place they should have been. there was only 1 pack and I really needed 3-5 pounds. he was nice enough to not only go see if he had any in the freezer but he also cut them and from full ribs. To me this is real customer service! This is just one example on why I drive past 4 other grocery stores to come to this location. THANK YOU for having the BEST employees!!!“
