“We skipped the food as we stopped in during the taco festival, but holy awesome service Batman! Victoria (maybe Veronica?) and Brie were awesome bartenders. Very fun and personable. Kept us in margaritas 🍹 and were an absolute joy! Looking forward to going back.

“All I can say is WOW! My husband & I went here for the first time last Friday and from the moment we stepped it we had the best dining experience we’ve ever had in the Kansas City area. Our server was Kortney and she was nothing short of AMAZING. She was attentive and made sure we were happy with our experience. Our drinks were always refilled at the halfway point, she checked on us at all of the perfect times and it was clear she was on top of it! She was friendly, attentive, & provided some seriously top-notch service. We ordered the crap dip to start and oh my goodness it was so delicious we were tempted to order another or. The dip was overflowing the bowl and everything was so FRESH. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and he said it was literally melting in his mouth. I ordered the roots burger and was impressed that someone could take a cheeseburger & make it THAT GOOD. We will absolutely be back! “I actually did not go to Culvers that much until my son Emmanuel started working there. It was then that I truly realized how much I liked their food. I ordered the deluxe basket with cheese curds more than once, and I have loved it every time. The food is great here at this store. The service is exceptional, and if you get to know the people behind the counter, they are all really nice people. Do not pass up the chance to stop by and get the Culvers experience. You will not regret it.

When I made the reservation, they asked if we were celebrating something, and we were. I don't know why they ask that if they don't even acknowledge that when you visit the restaurant. “Local Kansas Citian....stayed this weekend with my husband and had an AMAZING time! The room was spacious and clean! Bed was super comfy, and it was actually very quiet! We could see the city life below from our corner room, but most of the noise was completely blocked out! The hotel bar and the terrace bar were both amazing! And breakfast at the hotel was to die for! We will definitely be staying again!“

“It was a hot and humid day and I stopped in just for a drink and a couple glasses of water. I sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. She played an LP, which was fun. The bar area was nice and there were many gathered there for happy hour. They have sweet treats there too which looked delicious.“

Food selection is slightly limited and ymmv. I found the black bean to be a good example of the vegetarian option, but the buffalo chicken is a little basic. Overall, your choices in zoo are limited, but you will be treated well here.“
