“We skipped the food as we stopped in during the taco festival, but holy awesome service Batman! Victoria (maybe Veronica?) and Brie were awesome bartenders. Very fun and personable. Kept us in margaritas 🍹 and were an absolute joy! Looking forward to going back.

“Maybe KC's first Michelin star? Probably too soon to say, but this is a dining experience like nothing else local. Every single item was perfection, and purposeful, and delicious. Beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service too. The owner makes a point to visit every table and he seems like a really great guy (and certainly a stellar chef and restauranteur). My favorite thing was probably the chicken wings. Nothing pedestrian about them. I also loved the yuzu sake.“

“We traveled from South Carolina to visit family and they took us to Brewer's Kitchen. The food was exceptional. Each burger option is unique, fresh cut fries seasoned just right. The fact that everything is locally sourced is a plus in my book. The staff was friendly and caring. Give Brewer's Kitchen a try and you'll go back.“

“Room 39 was the perfect spot for my only night in Kansas City. I made the mistake of deciding to go vegetarian, right before I visited a city famous for its bbq meat! So glad I found this gem of a restaurant. I had a perfect table by the window, with the radiator under the table making it cozy and toasty. The cocktails and dishes were fantastic - two Boulevardiers, a Brussels sprout soup, gnocchi with goat cheese, and the flourless chocolate cake with Earl Grey tea. My server Tory was terrific. I can’t recommend it highly enough.“

“I actually did not go to Culvers that much until my son Emmanuel started working there. It was then that I truly realized how much I liked their food. I ordered the deluxe basket with cheese curds more than once, and I have loved it every time. The food is great here at this store. The service is exceptional, and if you get to know the people behind the counter, they are all really nice people. Do not pass up the chance to stop by and get the Culvers experience. You will not regret it.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to get into the front door. It's flat the whole way.“

“We waited over 10 minutes after being seated before anyone came to check on us. We were ready with our order when the waiter arrived, and received our food fairly quickly. I had the Parmesan crusted mahi mahi and my husband had the trio of filet medallions. The food was excellent, and we ordered the salted caramel crème brûlée for dessert. We had to wait for the dessert to be served longer than our entrees! It took about 20 minutes before we received it. It was delicious, too. Overall, it was an ok experience, but the service could have been better.“

“All I can say is WOW! My husband & I went here for the first time last Friday and from the moment we stepped it we had the best dining experience we’ve ever had in the Kansas City area. Our server was Kortney and she was nothing short of AMAZING. She was attentive and made sure we were happy with our experience. Our drinks were always refilled at the halfway point, she checked on us at all of the perfect times and it was clear she was on top of it! She was friendly, attentive, & provided some seriously top-notch service. We ordered the crap dip to start and oh my goodness it was so delicious we were tempted to order another or. The dip was overflowing the bowl and everything was so FRESH. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and he said it was literally melting in his mouth. I ordered the roots burger and was impressed that someone could take a cheeseburger & make it THAT GOOD. We will absolutely be back! From the atmosphere to the service to the food - EVERY single aspect exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend this place enough!“

“So it is Monday July 14 and we just left Joe’s BBQ and my wife told me that my BBQ is better the Joe’s any-day. Sunday night we went to Q39 and wow what a difference. My wife and I both had the 3 meat and sides of beans,and vegetables. Every single thing we had was great. Chicken(white meat) had good flavor but chicken is chicken. Sausage was full of flavor with the peppers. Ribs were fall off the bone and didn’t need sauce. The pulled pork was really soft and melted in the mouth good. So at this point I have to say if you are in Kansas City for BBQ go to Q39 last because nothing compares the it at least in Kansas City anyway.“

“Grand Street Plaza is predictably consistent, which is a good thing. Service is prompt and attentative without feeling rushed to open the table for the next seating. The noise level is relatively high, but the booth seating helps buffer the sound.“

“Sauced offers a delightfully unique dining experience! This stationary spot, cute like a food truck and nestled perfectly between buildings, has a charm all its own. Their menu is refreshingly short and simple, which works perfectly to highlight their delicious offerings. While drink options are limited to water and Sprite, it's better than nothing and gets the job done. I highly recommend the Blackened Chicken Sandwich, and 'The Fry'—loaded with pulled pork and BBQ sauce—is an absolute must-try!
A quick note on the practicalities: Parking was quite challenging to find, especially with the ongoing construction out front. Also, due to recent rain, the outdoor seating area was soaked. However, these are clearly not the fault of the restaurant itself and don't detract from the fantastic food and concept.“

“It was a hot and humid day and I stopped in just for a drink and a couple glasses of water. I sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. She played an LP, which was fun. The bar area was nice and there were many gathered there for happy hour. They have sweet treats there too which looked delicious.“
