“When I arrived on a Thursday evening I was actually surprised the parking lot was full to the max so I figured I check this place out. The inside is very nice and clean with plenty of seating and enough staff working and serving the customers. I ended up getting the beef brisket, smoked turkey breast and pit smoked chicken that was very delicious plus I was satisfied overall. Food was definitely worth the wait and was prepared well from the presentation and quality. They have different sauces from the Chicago sweet, spicy, K.C style, Saint Louis sweet and Smokey and the southern style original sauce. Overall this restaurant was pretty good and worth a trip if you’re in the area.“

“Stopped by the Hoof and Horn down in St. Joe and had a great time. It’s got that classic stockyards-era charm, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier—service was warm and welcoming from the second we walked in. The food was delicious and really hit the spot. A genuinely great meal in a fantastic, historic atmosphere. Would definitely recommend checking it out.“

“Really like Geneos but the last 2 times we have went the pizza was lacking!! Both times we ordered and paid for extra sauce and cheese to try and get it the way it used to be and it still came out the same way, very dry and hardly any cheese.“

“We came in town for the weekend from Iowa. This was one of our first stops. The staff and owners were extremely nice and welcoming. They have a fun indoor/outdoor atmosphere. We loved the outdoor deck which has great views of the downtown strip. Definitely will be back here on our next trip to town.“

“There was 10 of us for a little belated Christmas get together. we had Alfredo, chicken fried steak, stuffed shrimp, steak, etc... All the food was very good and our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. We had a wonderful time! It was our 2nd time to eat with your restaurant at the 2 locations.“

“We celebrated my daughter in law’s birthday tonight. The atmosphere was so cool for the grandkids. The cook for us put on a show had us all laughing the whole time. The food was so good. The inside is clean and the service is wonderful. 10 stars.“

“I wish I lived closer!! we were visiting the St. Joseph area and like to visit small business locations. We were not disappointed!!! We each ordered a meal and each came with two sides. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic and the owner, also our waiter, was the best!!! Gave us German Trivia and fun facts, on the back of the menus, and from him we learned about burial plots being leased!! Did i say the goddess was delicious? Will go out of our way to go back again. Wichita, Kansas“
