I recently visited the Starbucks on Kirkwood Rd in downtown Kirkwood, Missouri, and I was thoroughly impressed. The manager, Alyssa, is exceptionally professional and present, leading her team with grace and efficiency. Even during the morning rush hours, the staff, including new faces, work in perfect unison, creating a seamless and pleasant experience for customers.
The entire ambience is welcoming and pleasant, making it a great spot to start the day. Alyssa's high level of detail, customer care, and methodical approach to accuracy and efficient delivery is truly commendable. It's clear she takes her job seriously and leads by example, often supporting her team with positive energy and subtle enthusiasm.
It's inspiring to see a manager who not only excels in her role but also uplifts her team and ensures a top-notch experience for every customer. Kudos to Alyssa and her fantastic team for their hard work and dedication!“
“After having a terrible experience again at another location, it made me realize how much I LOVE this one. Place is always nice and clean, the staff is always friendly, they are very fast, and nobody makes my favorite shaken espresso as good as the baristas here. All other locations should take a lesson from this one.“

“Friendly service, but it is a bit dystopian that the majority of the staff are still wearing masks in late 2024. The pandemic ended years ago; it is long past time to move on. Service without a smile isn’t really acceptable at the stage of the game.“
“Starbucks has always been a community coffee shop. A place to gather and enjoy a beverage with friends and neighbors. The recent remodel of the Crestwood store although beautiful and more coworker friendly falls extremely short as the community coffee house it used to be. The outside seating is great but not year round. Many costumers have commented on the lack of seating. I know that the remodel is done and there is not a lot that can be done now. However you could move the trash can by the other door to accommodate another table instead of people scrambling for a place to sit when it’s cold and rainy out. Creative problem solving is always better than the dismissive “is what it is”.“

“I don’t often leave reviews, but today was a great experience. I came in from Taiwan and was served by a barista named Ani. She was incredibly kind and personable, making the visit enjoyable. I’ll be flying out next week, but I’ll definitely return just for the chance to chat again.“
“No drive-thru and the parking lot isn't great. There's almost always right in front of Starbucks thanks to designated parking for Starbucks customers, but there is typically only one entrance to the lot (from Clayton Rd) and the lanes are very narrow.
The staff here are friendly, coffee is always delicious, and mobile orders are typically filled quickly. I had one long wait a year ago, but have been back several times since and my coffee is always ready when I arrive.“

“I stopped by this location and wasn’t having the greatest day. Emma asked me how I was doing and I explained that I had just lost a loved one, she was very compassionate and tried her best to comfort me.
I truly appreciated that and I’m glad that we have good people like her in this world.

“I do enjoy a special treat at Starbucks. This particular location (mason/Clayton) makes great drinks, has ample parking and are very friendly. I usually order a hot mocha but opted for a toasted white chocolate mocha at the advice of the Barista...it was delicious!“
“I LOVE! this starbucks . The team is incredible. Rahul, Pallavi, and Coco are so kind, customer service oriented, and delivered the most amazing experience I’ve had yet. They were patient with me and gave me guidance on my order. They also recommended my new favorite drink: brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso (with cold foam?). For a university campus starbucks, it is hard to beat this place. I love it here and will definitely return.“

“I placed a mobile order at this location and when I got there, the employees never received my order.. There was a glitch in our system, and once I placed my order, it showed that I didn’t have enough funds to push the order through, but before I place the order I always transfer funds over. I spoke with the manager about the issue and she went ahead and had the employees make my order. I went back today just to tell them I appreciate them for taking care of the issue and I gave a tip.“
“It's a Starbucks. Here's the breakdown:Pros:- Large enough, room to sit and work, chat- Well-trained staff, good drinks.Cons:- Difficult to access the parking lot- Out of most food products- No soft seating- Service is a little slow

“The red headed guy that worked the drive-thru this morning is an absolute delight! He was so upbeat, positive and friendly with an infectious laugh. He definitely has improved my mood this morning. I was talking about him to some colleagues and one of them knew exactly who I was talking about and raved about him as well.

“Thought I'd grab a Christmas gift for a coworker. Buy a 5 dollar gift card, say "this cups on me" er something cheesey like that. I got a small pink drink as well. It's more than the darn gift card!! I probably can't buy anyone a good drink for $5. The smalls are very small too. Can't get a sip of strawberry flavored coconut milk for under 5 bucks? Why Starbucks... Yeah so I don't frequent da Bucks but dang it's expensive. Good taste and this particular one had good service but again, real expensive for what you're getting...“
“I was happy to visit this convenient location for my birthday reward and use my stars for a cup of coffee.My food and coffee were both ready when I arrived. I dined in to enjoy my meal and saw the usual well orchestrated performance of the trained staff.I was finally able to taste the Chicken, maple butter and egg sandwich which had been out of stock lately when I wanted to order one. It was acceptable, but nothing special.As I left, I noticed a large amount of trash around the entrance. I looked for a trash can but saw none. Not a good idea if you want people to throw away their trash. Noone picked it up either which reflects poorly on management and the staff in general.“
“The Starbucks on Grand is the BEST Starbucks I have EVER been to! The workers are fabulous & so friendly they make you want to be part of their team! They are always welcoming & provide fast service and high quality food.
Vegetarian options: If you are ok with dairy, the spinach, egg & feta wrap is great.“

I waited in the parking lot ?️. The parking lot was big so you will have no problem finding a space to park . My mom bought me a pile with soy milk ? coffee ☕️ and it was really good . My mom got a tall coffee ☕️
It was a super quick visit
It was in a nice area and the outside of the building was very clean and neat and orderly and it had very very very quick service because my mom was only in there for like 3 minutes .

“A while back I had some pretty consistent issues with this location, to where I stopped buying Starbucks and cancelled my account. They clearly took the feedback and grew from it. The employees at this location always seem happy and enjoy what the do. They interact with me beyond just handing me my order and taking my money. I truly enjoy this location, even when they are at their busiest.“

“We were just passing thru St Louis. We had hoped to do a riverboat cruise but had missed the last one so went to Starbucks instead. This Starbucks is located within the lobby of the Hyatt Regency hotel (the restrooms are actually in the.lobby of the hotel). There is a good amount of seating inside and of course it’s the usual Starbucks fare. The service was ok.“
“Staying at the hotel & went in for breakfast today. A+ service from everyone involved. The place was packed with race fans, but the lady who took my order was extremely polite & did her best to make sure I didn't see the stress on her face. She went above & beyond, as did the baristas/cooks. My order was fast, hot and delicious. This team is understaffed and still delivering an A+ experience. Will definitely be back tomorrow morning with a big tip for them!“

“Got my shaken espresso early morning before work. Was early enough I was having trouble even remembering what my order was and I don't visit Starbucks very often. Doug was my cashier and the way he treated me I would think that man could guide anyone through any problem. I'm just standing there trying to order a sweet treat to fight the dead tired feeling inside and Doug leads me through the entire process with the customer service patience of an angel. Would trust Doug to teach an older person some technology and not have them get mad. 10/10 experience“
