“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

“As a person with Celiac visiting your town I felt so welcome and safe- and it was a huge treat to eat an entire plate of yummy fried goodness that was safely prepared for someone like me. But the awesomeness didn’t stop there- the friendly bartender shared more Celiac safe local hotspots with us as well!“

“A GREAT PLACE TO SIT AND CHILL KIND OF GIVES YOU THE '80S '90S NOSTALGIC VIBE. I LIKE TO GO ON FRIDAYS BECAUSE THE PIZZA IS LESS EXPENSIVE AND IT'S ALWAYS FRESH. PLENTY OF VIDEO GAMES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A PLUS VERY FRIENDLY. I LOOK FORWARD TO GOING HERE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. “This place is the most welcoming, warm, full of good people dive bar I have ever been to in my life. Lots of pinball machines, wonderful bartenders and patrons, Dan-o's pizza if you get hungry. The pinball machines are half the cost. They are anywhere else that I've been to. The owners are amazing. And the people are such a great group of people. This place has been my home bar for 4 years and I don't see that changing. I always feel safe, welcome, and protected when I am in this bar. Highly recommend, especially if you are into pinball and punk rock“

I truly enjoy the lgbtq+/ all-inclusive atmosphere they provide. The music is always top notch, the staff is extremely friendly and quick to serve! They also have a super cute patio and open-air garage area, giving patrons a variety of areas to hang, dance or socialize. They also host some really unique, fun and exciting events that Ive thoroughly enjoyed attending or vending with my business. This Bar is definitely a hidden GEM in St. Louis!“

“Go to this bar. Bike parking right up front, every band I've seen so far are all very good, I immediately made friends with everyone there, I became family in 3 visits. Everyone watches out for everyone, no fights, drinks are very reasonable, there's good parking around back. The bar owner Judy commands respect and everyone loves her. If you like slayer, and pink Floyd, and grateful dead, and megadeth, this is the bar. I'd say it's my favorite bar period.“

“I knew the owners of this place. Rose and Tony. My grandma took me down there when I was two. She ran a run down apt complex right next to there. I can’t believe it is still there. Rose and Tony would come to my house for holidays. I will be visiting there soon. It was a nice little dive bar the last time I was there. I worked at the west and cafe. I think rose and Tony were still alive at that point. Like 30 years ago. Love them and I loved this little bar.“

“Purple Quarters is a must stop spot in The Grove. I can’t say enough good things about their craft cocktails. Not only do they have the classics, but their seasonal cocktail menu is always original and delicious.
If you want to go a little off the seasonal menu, try one of their Get Down menu options like the Foxy Cleopatra (cucumber vodka and great for summer) or the Mrs. White is a Floozy (tequila, grapefruit, and coconut cream).
The vibe is chill and fun, with a lot of arcade games (who doesn’t love to bet the bar tab on a game of skee ball) and other familiar table games.“

“The food and drinks are really good! Ask for a Bloody Mary or Cadillac Margarita. Joyce served me and I will be back! The service was great, and they were friendly with quick service. “My family and I came from out of town to take the kids to the zoo and found this place looking online for something we didn’t have back home and this was a fantastic experience very friendly people all around! Kids menu was perfect and all our food was brought to us amazing!! Hot fresh and just simply so good!!! If we get to come back and visit I would definitely come to eat here again!!!“
