“Movoc Hot Pot is a really solid option for malatang, especially in the St. Louis area. I was impressed by the selection of seafood (scallops, abalone, mussels) and meats. The pricing felt a bit high at $15.99/lb, but the variety of food options justifies it. The sauce bar was lacking compared to other malatang places. Free rice is available for dine-in and $2 for take-out. There were labels for the ingredients, and ingredients were constantly being stocked. Overall, it's a really solid food spot, and I will definitely be coming back when I'm craving malatang.“

Poor service for real. Always call and someone either irritated or just answers the phone and place you on hold for long periods of time.

The services are not like a real restaurant...hell you can even go to the restrooms in the majority of them. The food is cooked to order and usually be reasonably-priced and good. I can't say even say if they are rude...I have never been treated rude here, your service is simple "How can I help you "give you a total, you pay. You either get a number or they call out what your order number, you get your bag, check it and go. The majority of the places you stand and wait on your food and go. I can say...in the City for me the food is better....at the majority of the all Chinese restaurants. Everyone has their favorite one to go too...but by far the City's restaurants are better.“

“Best St. Paul sandwich I've found so far. Sometimes a little salty, but still the best I've had. I've tried other food from here, but mainly come for the St. Paul. You can call in a pickup order, which seems to be what most people do. Or you can come wait while your order is being prepared. They have a dining room but rarely have I seen anyone eating there... the wait is usually something like 15 minutes. You ring a bell through the plastic partitioned ordering window when you arrive and someone will come out of the kitchen (if no one is already there) to take your order. This place isn't fancy by any means, and the tables seem like they could use a cleaning. Of note are the plants up front which are seemingly ancient. Lastly, not the St. Paul, but I went in late on a rainy night and had the best egg drop soup I've ever had. It may be because I was the only customer at the time, but I will definitely be back to try for that experience again.

They are inventing new ways of making Asian cuisine here with the Ultimate Saint Paul sandwich, and the infamous 'Happy Box'. Your favorite rice, or noodles, topped with saint paul patty, and asian gravy. Sprinkle a little red pepper, and you've got street food like your over there buying it. During that time I lived with my roommate and this place hooked us up with amazing portion sizes. We loved the Mai Fun noodles and there was always leftovers even between two people with one order! Honestly I still crave those noodles every few months or so, along with the teriyaki chicken kebabs; even with my regular order, there hasn't been a dish I've disliked so far in 4 almost 5 years.
