“This was such a cute little family owned restaurant. While it looked like most people picked up for delivery, you can eat in and they give you paper plates. We ordered the popcorn chicken which had fried basil in it and it was so unexpected and delicious! My littles loved the stir fry noodles. Also unexpected was what they called Chicken Chili stir fry! The pork belly melted in our mouths!! Absolutely delicious. We will be back“

“I have alpha gal which has made it tricky to eat out at times. I received the best treatment I've ever experienced since having it. Both the server and manager took the time without making me feel like a burden (though I know it is one) to find something that would work. The manager also delivered my main to assure me it was handled with care. Blown away by the care and service.“

The atmosphere is very cozy, warm, and a bit minimalist. It's a great place to go with a date. The staff were plentiful and ready to help. We were seated very quickly.

The food: First off, if you are the sort of person who doesn't do QR codes, you should probably pass. That is the only menu that we were offered. That said, it was a nice and easily navigable menu with pictures of almost everything (even the soda cans). We ordered some Thousand Year Eggs and some Soup Dumplings and both were full of flavor and nicely presented. I should mention at this point that it seems they bring out the food ASAP after preparation. So we received both main courses before the dumplings arrived. That said, everything was out and ready within 10 minutes. Our main dishes were both wonderful. I had the Spicy Intestine Noodles and it was the best I've ever had. Lots of umami and a good kick. Very meaty.

I definitely intend to return for another experience.“

“The concept of this place is really cool. The ingredients are fresh and they offer a wide variety of selection for what you can put in your bowl and your soup base. It didn't take long for the staff to cook my bowl. Very delicious and filling. What a unique experience!“

“We smelled it from the Antique mall close by and took a chance. I got the beef and broccoli while my wife got the egg foo young. It was all amazing. We appreciated the crab rangoons (not sweet, a bonus for us). Everything was cooked to perfection!

We ordered carry out and ate back at our hotel. It was a good hole in the wall. Asian food is extremely territorial but we found it so good and comforting while we visited the area.

The seating area was very clean (dated but clean!) As we waited for our food, we couldn't help but notice the amount of people coming and going and the women behind the counter knew most of them by name. Great food!“

“Companion Bakery is one of my favorite places in Ladue, and I'm there all the time. We go through a lot of bread, so I'm constantly picking up loaves, and everything else I've tried has been just as good. The food is outstanding and the staff is always great. What really sets it apart is Jodi, the owner. She's exceptional. She invests in her people, and she once gave one of her employees the chance run a restaurant of his own, which is now Ladue Taco. She also gives back to the community constantly, from hosting a Humane Society adoption event to fundraising for Pedal the Cause. It's a business that makes the neighborhood better, and the food is the best part. I can't say enough good things about them.“

“I came to Olive Garden with my brother and a friend, and we had such a great experience! George took care of us, and his service was honestly to infinity and beyond. He was super kind, attentive, and made sure we always had everything we needed. He really made our dinner even better.

The only tiny thing was that the tiramisu was a little frozen in the center, but everything else was amazing, so it wasn’t a big deal at all.

“Delicious and fresh! Huge portions you could easily share with another person. My only complaint was the potato salad being room temperature instead of cold. I believe maybe it was made fresh and hadn’t had enough time to chill in the fridge. The flavor was DELICIOUS! “In an area with few good Chinese buffets, this one is a gem! They had a variety of delicious food ranging from the customary Chinese-American dishes such as broccoli beef and General Tso's chicken to sushi and boiled seafood. The sushi was simple, but tasty. The cold shrimp with cocktail sauce was also quite good for a buffet. The crawfish were flavorful, and the salmon was delicious. In truth, there was no item I sampled that was not warm, well-prepared, and delightful. My personal favorites were the baby oysters and stuffed mushrooms. I went for dinner and the price was a little high, but for some reason a lot of things are pretty pricey in the St Loius area. I can think of at least 3 Chinese buffets in the KC area that are half the cost and twice as good. They apparently also have a hot pot option, which is more expensive. I would not have done it even if I knew about it beforehand. Not that I have anything against hot pot, but $18 per person is already steep for a no-frills Asian buffet. Still, it's a good restaurant and I would be up for eating there again if I am in the area.“

“Bread bowls lately are a disappointment, no matter which soup I try in it. Bread is tasteless and kind of wrinkles up. I don't know how to explain it. This has always been my favorite thing to get there, even in the summer but the ladt 4 times, the bread was a disappointment.“

“I came in on a day where it was REALLY busy and a lot was going on. Luckily, I had time to sit and wait for my food. I had ordered ahead and Linda and Kat at the front were was trying to help me find my food. Then, Jacquelyn came over to speak with me and hesitantly told me it could be 15-20 minutes. Told her it was no problem and I had my NYT games to play. She offered me a free drink while I waited, apologized profusely, and checked in whenever they were working on my order. It was a hectic day but the customer service was doing a great job.“

“I genuinely don't know why the ratings are so low. Very clean tables and bathrooms, and the food was great. But the best thing was that they kept coming around with samples of bakery items, and all the employees were very kind. They offered to get our trash and brought us our food, which is very different from the average Panera. Low-key took a fat dump in the bathroom, but I felt ok doing it because it was so clean. Definitely would recommend.“

I’m pleased to know there are still people in customer service that care because some people truly don’t! I thank the night shift on Friday night & I’m going again on Saturday to get the same thing.
