“My husband and I were in Jackson with a few hours to kill. We stopped a nice couple in Highland Village to ask where they would recommend us eating lunch. We were both very pleased with their recommendation. I enjoyed the linguine with crawfish tails on which our attentive waitress helped me decide. My husband enjoyed the carne pizza. We will definitely return the next time we’re in town.“

“Today was the 1st time I’ve been to The Manship. We sat outside as the day was overcast and comfortable temps. The atmosphere is laid back southern elegance. Lunch menu choices made it difficult to choose. We started with the seasonal cocktail, a very Manship twist on a French 75 served frozen in a coupe and garnished with a violet. This is one I hope they make a permanent part of their menu. Perfect balance of sweet/sour and delightful on the palate. Next we shared smoked tuna dip served with what I think were fried tortillas seasoned with chili lime and saltine crackers. It rivals the best smoked tuna dip I’ve ever had from along the Atlantic. For entrees we chose small plates: Manship Woodfired Oysters served with focaccia and a special of Bbq pork belly served with Brussel Sprout slaw. I am not fond of brussel sprouts & surprisingly I loved the slaw. The oysters were beautifully served in a dish that kept them warm and not overcooked. The thick slices of bread were perfect for dipping in the butter sauce used in cooking the oysters. The pork belly was so good. Just the right amount of rub and sauce cooked to tender, melt in your mouth perfection. Our server was a total pro. I feel so bad because I didn’t write down her name. My daughter who was with me once worked as a server at a restaurant much like Manship. She was very impressed because our dishes arrived in perfect order and timing. She was knowledgeable about every item on the menu. Do yourself a favor and go eat at this wonderful establishment! We will come back!“

“I just want to comment. I’m one of your managers on Lakeland Drive, Dee. I called not realizing that it was a lunch crowd and explain to her that I needed some sandwich catered. Could she do it. She explained very nicely that she was in the middle of a lunch crowd, but would try her best. When I got there an hour later, my sandwiches, chips, salad, And tea or waiting for me. She is an employees. She deserves to be recognized. My name is Joyce Niskala.“

“I've only ordered about 4 times there, and I'm quite sure they don't overcook everything they serve, but my meat lovers pizza melt is always overcooked. It's so hard, you barely can enjoy it. One of the cooks told me it's because the crust is very thin. So I won't be ordering that anymore. But they get your orders prepared promptly and that's a good thing 😊😊“

“I love Quana spells she always have such a great attitude and the rest of her young ladies that be up front they recognize you when you walk through the door I do DoorDash and she already know me cause I go there often and she will let me know how long it is and the rest of her young ladies appreciate y’all it don’t matter how many orders they give me with them I will definitely go pick it up from her store most definitely keep up the great work“

“Really wanted to give a 4.6. The burger was absolutely delicious. Seasoned to taste. Even the fries were good, so that’s a plus. Southwest eggrolls . A must have. Ordered the Philly cheese sandwich… a little greasy, but ok. Eggrolls, still the best. However, another day, ordered the Philly cheese and it wasn’t so great. This was beyond greasy. And the fries were not the best. Forgot my drink and just wasn’t happy this go around. Thank goodness for the salt packets. That helped with the fries. To me, it’s still a must try. Hopefully you will get what I received on my first order.“

“I've love this pizza chain ever since the first time I tried their pizza (I can't remember how many years ago. They have stayed true to their flavor and I don't believe that it has changed one bit in my opinion over the years. (Not even from Old Coke to New Coke 😔) and back again if you know where I went with that. Will always go back to Papa John's as my favorite. I believe. they know what their people like and they have never tried to change that.....“
