“What a hidden gem that we stumbled upon! We will be back over and over again! First time was amazing so we drove 45 minutes today to see if it was a fluke or just that good! Incredible is all I can say. Needless to say we’ll be back. The shrimp appetizer is so good. And to date my favorite blacken ahi tuna bowl. Not to mention a wicked espresso martini❤️. Highly recommend! Great staff and amazing chef! You won’t be disappointed.”

“I have read some negative comments that are unwarranted. As many times as I have eaten at Delights, I have always enjoyed the food. My absolute favorite is the salmon lunch special only $13 soup or salad and choice of side what a great deal. My family absolutely loves Delights!”

“I’ve been visiting The Nook for years, and while the service is just as good as it’s ever been, it feels like the heart just isn’t in the food anymore.
My fiancé had their pecan waffle and bacon - asked for bacon extra crispy. Loved the waffle, but the bacon was still floppy. I had bacon, grits, and hashbrowns. The bacon was thick, floppy and hard to chew. Grits were really salty, and I didn’t finish them.
I usually come for “my usual”, which I didn’t get this time or for a waffle. I feel like no matter what you get on the menu, it should still hit, especially when they’re basic food items.
Overall, it’s a great little breakfast joint. It’s fast paced and very busy, so be prepared for that. The owner is very personable and friendly! She is definitely involved in her business. I recommend the Breakfast Nook and will definitely be back again!”

“Very disappointed in the chicken salad on the croissant on our last visit I am not sure if they ran out of chicken, but there was more egg in it than chicken and no mayonnaise at all very dry. This was our second time there the first time we were there. The food was amazing and the pie was amazing too, but this time just disappointed in the chicken salad, which wasn’t really chicken salad. It was a chicken and egg on a croissant and very dry.”

“Had an awesome time sampling a flight of sweet wines while enjoying the amazing view from their decks. The tasting room area is outstanding. We also enjoyed chatting with the hostess that was there during our visit and found out about the families military service.
Such a great story. If your in the area this is a great stop and chance to support a local business and Devoted military family. We left with 8 bottles of wine to enjoy back in Lancaster,PA.

“Well we always had good food and service! BUT yesterday (Sunday Feb 15 2026) wasnt so great! We got there in pouring rain had to park way down parking lot went in told the host our name and number we stepped to the side like all the others and the host says to all of us “plz go to your cars and wait” LOL none of us was thrilled for one it was raining! And ive seen that place like that before and NO ONE EVER ASKED US TO SIT IN OUR CARS! So like several of the others we left and went somewhere else and ate! Sorry not sorry! Maybe we will try again later because i love their baked spaghetti.”

I have never had a bad sub at any other location and the service was not the best either. I was talking in Walmart with someone and they said they had same experience. However I can say, this was the first time I had been since COVID. downgrades on quality? And we know that service hadn’t been good since COVID at several places. Another problem with albemarle location, parking lot too small”

“BILL is the man.. I am a big rig truck driver . And snow ❄️ has fallen in NC and EVERYTHING was closed . , not only ( COOK OUT ) WAS OPEN , but surviving the full , HOWEVER I cant fit in the drive through windows cuz of my BIG ass truck , so I walked a block in the snow walked to the window and ask if I can order even tho I cant fit in the drive thru..

Not only BILL took my order. He didn't want me to wait in the cold ,so he made my order right there .. I tried to tip him for the trouble but he also refused the tip

Not sure if BILL is a manager or a worker, but this was very we'll appreciated and people like him is why I always try to do the best for people. Cuz IT WILL COME BACK AROUND
