“Delicious food and great service even for a family of 6. The servers were very attentive. This was a great place to eat as a finish to our vacation. The wings were probably the best I’ve ever had. I got the Shearon Harris and the flavor was excellent with the right amount of heat. My wife and oldest had the regular BBQ flavor and that was also very good. The Tots with queso was amazing as well. If you’re in the area I strongly suggest trying this place out.“

“It is with pleasure that I write this review for the Longhorn Steakhouse in Apex, NC. We often drive over to Apex from Raleigh to eat at this Longhorn. The food is always delicious and is delivered to the table just the way it is ordered. We ordered sirloin steaks, loaded bake potatoes, and salad. These along with the bread were outstanding. The staff here is also very friendly. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated immediately. Our server, Maureen, came to the table as soon as we were seated to get our drink orders and returned quickly to take our order. Salad and bread came out very quickly and followed by our steak and potatoes in a very timely manner. We were very impressed with Maureen and her enthusiasm. We highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I first tried Dampf BBQ many years ago when they were still out at the fairgrounds, and I can honestly say it has remained the best and most consistent barbecue I’ve had both in this state and across the country. I’ve traveled extensively during my military career, which has given me the chance to try some truly great barbecue spots nationwide. Even with all that experience, Dampf BBQ is still my number one. The meat is always incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and cooked with the kind of care you can taste in every bite. Beyond the food, the people here make the experience even better. This is a dedicated, family-owned, local business that clearly takes pride in what they do. I’ve seen comments about wait times and pricing, but in my opinion, anything truly good is worth waiting for, and anything made with real quality is worth paying for. I drive an hour just to get this barbecue, and I’ve never once been disappointed. It’s consistently excellent, every single time. If you’re on the fence… don’t be. It’s 100% worth the trip. The barbecue chicken was fall off the bone , the okra was fried to perfection, the potato salad was delicious too and the pulled pork was awesome with their house made sauces!Our waitress was soo nice too, was so welcoming and we really appreciated it because our family has been going through a tough time. “If you’re the type of person who gets food envy…just know you’ll be jealous of your own plate by the second bite.

This place is basically an edible science experiment in the best possible way. Every bite is different because you get to create your own flavor combinations, so your taste buds never know what’s coming next.

We ordered the Angus steak, pork belly (and then immediately ordered more pork belly because apparently self-control isn’t on the menu), shrimp, and lamb. I’ve never been a lamb person because of that slightly gamey flavor, but he insists it’s incredible. As for me? The steak and pork belly absolutely stole the show.

Now here’s the life-changing tip you didn’t know you needed: take that complimentary miso sauce and use it as a marinade for the steak and pork belly. You’re welcome. I briefly considered asking for a cup to take home and drink with a straw.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we finished with the ice cream cups that unlocked childhood memories we forgot we had.

“I dropped in on a whim and ended up having hot pot!

Chengdu classic spicy broth, premium beef, vegetable assortment, spam, shrimp paste, and potatoes.

First off, the “vegetable medley” was mostly lettuce. If I wanted lettuce I could have just ordered lettuce for 1/3 the price. Don’t get this.

The rest was great. They were out of quail eggs, unfortunately. The portions were pretty large - lots of spam. The premium beef was a little pricey for the quantity but I loved the fattiness and flavour. The shrimp paste was generous. The serving utensils it came with were novel to me.

The server seemed very concerned about my ordering of the medium spicy broth. It was spicy, but quite tolerable.

It was a very Asian place. I didn’t feel English was first priority but I managed to switch the tablet to English and that helped.

“This place has the best Korean chicken wings. They make them to order and the homemade kimchi was the best I've ever had. It gets crowded quickly because there isn't much space in the checkout or restaurant area, but it's worth a trip.“
