“I had the pleasure of eating breakfast twice at The Grateful Table while spending a few days traveling through North Carolina recently. I loved atmosphere and vibe as soon as entered the door. The staff and new owner, Heather, greeted me like I was a regular. My breakfast casserole, egg pie and cheese grits were delicious. And of course a little dessert from the bakery was in order too! You can’t go wrong with any of it. I sampled several things and loved them all. If you’re near Canton you need to check them out.”

“Jros Never dissapoints. The food is always great, the people are always kind. I always look forward to getting food here. Everything on their menu is awesome. Stop in to grab you a really really great meal. Wether it's dine in or to go is worth every penny and then some.

The prices are very reasonable for the awesome quality of food they make.

“If you want the most amazing steak subs ,Italian submarines, then you have to go to this take out resturant. the service is unbelievable and they guarantee every thing they sell to be amazing. everything is amazing and we recommend this take out to everyone.”

“I usually order to go when I am too lazy to make a home-cooked meal. The food is good, generous, and well worth the price. I like different restaurants for different reasons. This falls into my "guilty pleasures/greasy spoon" category of restaurant, not because its a dive but because it is simple, decent, southern comfort style food. Don't go for Michelin Star or for fusion foods, but when you want something comforting like grandma would have made it. I give it a 5 star rating not just for its food, but the heart and spirit of the owners and employees. I have seen from behind the scenes, more than once, how this restaurant helps people and the community-for example with food for flood victims and fundraisers for local schools. Their compassion alone makes it a business worth supporting, the tasty fried country steaks, okra, rolls and desert are just the icing on the cake.”

“We came here from Massachusetts and wanted true southern food. It was great! Bruce had the meatloaf and said it was the best he has ever had. I had the pot roast and it was great!”

“I’ve been a chef and worked in the food industry for a long time, and BBQ was one of the first things that really sparked my passion for cooking. I’ve tasted BBQ from all over, and over the years I’ve developed my own recipes—but I can honestly say what Ben serves at Ben’s Backdraft BBQ can stand toe-to-toe with the best in WNC. It’s that good. Ben is a hardworking, stand-up guy, and his staff are always friendly and welcoming. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out 😋”

“Food cook exactly the way it should be. Great service. ALL the staff were so pleasant and friendly. The banter back and forth between them was absolutely entertaining and made us smile. I have ate at multiple waffle houses in multiple states for years and this one is my favorite by far. A lot of the others act like you are an interruption in their day. No smiles no greetings and you constantly have to ask for refills. Not the case at the one in Canton. We will be stopping in there again on our travels through the state.”

“I was 1 of 7 people eating here. After 8pm on a Saturday. Food was fresh, ONLY downfall was my wife and I both had Onion rings, and they were cooked a bit too much. Overall good food, and everyone enjoyed it! Laid back atmosphere, and service was perfect ?

Vegetarian options: Not into it. But noticed an impossible burger on the menu.

“A fantastic spot for a latte and a bagel. Cozy, great location. They had several plant milks to choose from, as well as vegan cream cheese and a locally made vegan pimento cheese (which was DELICIOUS!!!)”

“I just stopped here this morning and got an iced gingerbread latte…yum 🤤. They also had multiple size choices which I LOVE! I’m SO EXCITED to have this so close to me in Clyde. Wishing them all the success in the world! Will definitely be back.”

“Lengua and carnada were good. Best we've had so far in Haywood. Salsa was good with a little kick. Chicken enchiladas were good too. Margaritas were good, not too sweet from syrup. Our server was nice and running his but off. Overall good experience. Place was packed when we got there around 7:15 on a Tuesday.”

“Great taste, lots of flavors. I ordered the French Toast Shake and the Banana Peanut Butter flavor shake. Both are tasty. The Banana Peanut butter taste, however, did not have any peanut butter flavor to me. It tasted like banana ice cream. My husband really loved the French toast shake, although, it tasted more like cinnamon than anything else. I'm definitely going back. Also, they are nutritious!”

“Made a pit stop at this Arby’s passing through on our way home to Charlotte. Staff were so friendly! Clean and well kept dining room to get out and stretch out legs. Food was prepared fast and hot!”

“Best sandwiches we have ever had from any Subway!! The blonde with the forearm tat made those sandwiches with LOVE! Extremely nice and the store was CLEAN! WE will definitely be back!”

“This is a small Chinese buffet that doesn't really had the pomp and flash of the bigger, fancier buffets, but they have a small selection of exactly what you need for a very reasonable price.

Usually my standard for Chinese buffets is, "did I get sick" and at this one, I survived with my guts happy and intact.”

“Came through the drive-thru at 11PM and was expecting lukewarm fires and a cold spicy chicken sandwich. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Food was fresh and delicious and the workers were very kind. Definitely recommend!”
