“Never have I ever had anything but absolute delicious food (and service) here… and again today. My friend suggested 1/2 order of the Spinach Artichoke Dip (a plenty!) and Scallops appetizer (big, cooked perfectly and ab FAB!) and we added shaved ribeye egg rolls too. Perfect trio for sharing and leftovers too (except the scallops). Those who already enjoy Mannings know what I’m talking about but if you’ve never been, put on your to do list! Wish I could share pics but that button doesn’t work.”

Parking: Lots of spaces but always crowded. Can be tough to find parking, or you can wait five minutes and someone’s always leaving”

“We had dinner there last night with some friends. It started out with our waitress, she was very knowledgeable of the menu and her service was top notch. We all ordered steaks except for our daughter who got the French Cut Chicken. She inhaled it and raved how good it was. The steaks ?? They were all perfectly cooked and seasoned. Really couldn’t have asked for a better steak. I have to mention the salad bar too. It was all fresh, crisp, great selection of items, and we all enjoyed it very much. Overall, we had an amazing experience there last night and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Well done Clayton Steakhouse and team!”

“Recently went here for my daughter's 13th birthday dinner. The whole family had a wonderful time, and the food was amazing! Portions are large, and we had plenty of leftovers that we enjoyed later. Service is wonderful, and we have never had a bad experience or dish coming here.”

The only issue i had was that they didnt put napkins in the to go bag but the food definitely made up for it . The girls working there are great! “I got one of each style of taco, 2 steak 1 chicken tinga. The meat was full of smoky flavor, tender, and they weren’t stingy! The generous toppings pair well with the meat, the tradicional was my favorite style. I love the simple ordering style. The place itself is inviting, clean, with a nice vibe in a historic building. “Cannot get over how insanely cheap this bakery keeps its prices. From the price you'd think oh it's probably fake tasting. Then you taste all the love and commitment they put into everything. I've been numerous times. Have brought multiple people to enjoy their fares. Only down side is the gf options are very limited.”

“It’s food truck good! Honestly some of the better tacos I’ve had on the east coast, still a little over priced to what I’m used to but good tacos. Tbh just falls a little short of a nearby corner taco option. The taco was good. The Tamales, which I was most excited for, just felt like they were too mushy/ likely reheated right when ordered.
Is it my first choice in town? Nah. Is it far more authentic than 90% of town ? Absolutely. Will I be back? 100% but notably I’m very closer by.

Parking: No concerns at all. The spot they’re usually parked on Shotwell and 70 has 15+ spots and I’ve never seen it full”

“Originally planned to order a small cheese pizza and 10 traditional buffalo wings. Worker was nice enough to tell us it would be cheaper through a deal to upgrade to a medium pizza so I appreciated that. The pizza and wings were light and did not make me feel fat! I definitely enjoyed both items.

The place itself could use a little cleaning, but it isn’t really built for dine in service so you can’t complain too much. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the food and will be back for more!”

“One piece of advice, don't get delivery. Pick up only and show up 5 minutes before your projected "order ready" time.
There are dishes that they do up right and then some that could use some R&D.
1. Sesame Chicken = great!
2. Egg Foo Yung = great!
3. Sweet & Sour chicken = as expected
4. Moo shu pork or chicken = the moo shu is good, but the pancakes are shit! I use tortillas from LA Bonita
5. Beef with garlic sauce = awesome!
6. Fried rice = don't waste your money
7. Dragon & Phoenix = good
8. Shrimp with cashew = great!
9. Wonton soup = don't even
10. Hot & sour soup = good
11. Shrimp & scallop in pepper sauce = very few scallops, and it would be sooooooo much better with sautéed shrimp. The breaded and fried shrimp in the dish are just mushy and gross.

Lastly...could we get an option to NOT put a bazillion packets of sauce in the bag?!?!”

“We’ve been here multiple times and it is my kids’ FAVORITE pizza in the area! The wings are amazing as well- my favorite here. I also want to give a shoutout to the team that works here at the Clayton location- every time we pick up pizza the gentlemen at the front is so nice and accommodating to me and my kids. I spilled some French fries as I was leaving and he brought over a brand new container of fries without me even asking. Customer service here deserves a 10/10!”

“Went for the first time Saturday night planning to listen to music about an hour. We ended up staying over three hours, until the music stopped. Joe and Storm brought it, the energy was amazing and the staff so friendly. We will definitely be back with a crowd next time these two are performing.”

Under age girls with booty shorts and bare midriffs just doesn't seem appropriate for wait staff. I think one was wear bedroom slippers. The kitchen saved the visit from being a disaster. Hamburger was cooked correctly as have all my other meals from there.”

“We went Valentine’s Night. Every where had over an hour wait, we got here and my party of 6 was seated immediately! Our server was amazing! And the food was outstanding! They had a limited menu for valentines night so we will definitely go back on another night to try more items!”

Our waitress Piper was kind and came to the table with a smile and recommendation which I gladly accepted. The food came out on a robot which I think small kids would love. “This is hands down one of our favorite pizza places in Clayton, NC. Very comparable to Lucy's in Orem Utah and that is quite high praise as Lucy's is our favorite outside of homemade pizza.
It is easy to order and the wait never exceeds 20 minutes for pickup, that I have witnessed.”
