“I ordered through DoorDash and I cannot wait to go in and sit down. They gave me so much food it was literally 3 small meals for me. The flavor was 10/10 and cooked to perfection. If you're in the Clayton area pull up. You will not be disappointed. 👌🏽”

“We had dinner there last night with some friends. It started out with our waitress, she was very knowledgeable of the menu and her service was top notch. We all ordered steaks except for our daughter who got the French Cut Chicken. She inhaled it and raved how good it was. The steaks ?? They were all perfectly cooked and seasoned. Really couldn’t have asked for a better steak. I have to mention the salad bar too. It was all fresh, crisp, great selection of items, and we all enjoyed it very much. Overall, we had an amazing experience there last night and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Well done Clayton Steakhouse and team!”

“Never have I ever had anything but absolute delicious food (and service) here… and again today. My friend suggested 1/2 order of the Spinach Artichoke Dip (a plenty!) and Scallops appetizer (big, cooked perfectly and ab FAB!) and we added shaved ribeye egg rolls too. Perfect trio for sharing and leftovers too (except the scallops). Those who already enjoy Mannings know what I’m talking about but if you’ve never been, put on your to do list! Wish I could share pics but that button doesn’t work.”

“Convenient location. Food is yummy but could be a little less $. Unfortunately they recently switched from Coke products to Pepsi products. I wish they would switch back. Keep the tables cleaner. To go can get busy so be patient with them. One of the employees who has brought our food to the table the last few times we have been smells too strong of a perfume that does not smell good at all. I can smell her when she just walks by the table too which is annoying as I wish to smell yummy pizza, wings, and other foods.”

As always, Matt handled the order professionally and on time, making the whole process easy and stress-free. “There isn’t a Mexican restaurant anywhere near Clayton that can compare to this place especially at the price. Wednesdays and Friday $1.99 margaritas (and they’re actually great!).

Their burritos are delicious, the birria is awesome, and the service is great. I come to this place every single week and I will as long as I live here. This restaurant is clearly family run and they do a wonderful job. It doesn’t look like much when you drive by, but this is the place you wanna stop for lunch or a quick dinner. Try the Burrito Grande or Burrito Mexicano with sliced steak. Reminds me of the Mexican food on the west coast. Awesome restaurant, kind owner and staff, and good atmosphere.”

“Took them up on their generous offer of a free pizza and we love it! I added a house salad to the order and it was packed with fresh vegetables and the tomatoes tasted homegrown akin to an heirloom. Delicious. My kids are usually super picky eaters. Even when it comes to pizza and they powered the pizza asking for more. We will definitely be back for more. Friendly customer service and super welcoming. Thank you for the pizza. Additionally, the sauce is semi sweet. But they do use California sweet tomatoes… coming from being a native of California (I grew up there), I can say that I truly appreciate a good tomato when I find one. I think we have all gotten so used to under ripe tomatoes used on pizzas these days that some cannot appreciate when a ripe and juicy sweet tomato is used. I’d consider Romeo’s to be extremely authentic when it comes to the sauce used. Quality at its finest truly.”

“Southwest Tacos chicken and veggies were fresh, tender and delicious. Southwest Tacos steak was unfortunately tough. Empanada was amazing and exactly as described with a flaky fresh crust!! UPDATE 10/27/25 Ordered a steak Gordita for the first time and it tasted amazing ❤️ I wish this location in Clayton would list sour cream as an extra condiment on their delivery apps because it would have made my Empanada and Gordita over the top and a small extra charge would not have bothered me a bit😁”

“This Zaxbys is one of the few fast food restaurant in Clayton that seems to care about their customers and getting orders right. Ive ordered delivery many times and my order always arrives fast and most importantly, correct - no missing items except for maybe occasional missing sauces. I appreciate the service here and the food is addictive. Their employees are friendly and helpful and actually answer the phone when you call with questions. I will probably only order delivery from here from now on.”

I also want to give a shoutout to the team that works here at the Clayton location- every time we pick up pizza the gentlemen at the front is so nice and accommodating to me and my kids. “If you're looking for a high quality, fast food breakfast, look no further. The biscuits are made there fresh and you can definitely tell. This is miles above any other fast food breakfast that I've had. It's become my new favorite place to go for breakfast - fast food or not.”

“One piece of advice, don't get delivery. Pick up only and show up 5 minutes before your projected "order ready" time.
There are dishes that they do up right and then some that could use some R&D.
1. Sesame Chicken = great!
2. Egg Foo Yung = great!
3. Sweet & Sour chicken = as expected
4. Moo shu pork or chicken = the moo shu is good, but the pancakes are shit! I use tortillas from LA Bonita
5. Beef with garlic sauce = awesome!
6. Fried rice = don't waste your money
7. Dragon & Phoenix = good
8. Shrimp with cashew = great!
9. Wonton soup = don't even
10. Hot & sour soup = good
11. Shrimp & scallop in pepper sauce = very few scallops, and it would be sooooooo much better with sautéed shrimp. The breaded and fried shrimp in the dish are just mushy and gross.

Lastly...could we get an option to NOT put a bazillion packets of sauce in the bag?!?!”

“The atmosphere is definitely pretty cool. The service has been consistently good when I have eaten here. I really like the Margarita flight. It's fun to sample before committing to a full margarita. I have to eat gluten free. I am comfortable ordering the tacos (specify corn tortillas). I do wish the tacos were a bit better. I have tried most of them and with a couple exceptions they all kind of taste the same. They aren't actually bad they just don't meet the expectations set by the rest of the experience. All in all I like this place would suggest to friends that can order from the whole menu.”
