First of all, they came the day before to introduce themselves, make sure they knew the location to park the truck so there would be no delay, and they had enough people on hand to take care of the staff in a quick orderly fashion. On the day of our event, they showed up one hour early, staff filtered out and they served 111 people in an hour. The food was wonderful, Romero was so kind. “This is my weekly routine stop when I want really good food that reminds me of home. Been eating with them for the past few years, and this is the only place that can actually serve the same quality of food every day. There are no bad days.
They also serve lunch from 11am to 2-3pm for the price of $15?? You get a protein, 2 sides, a side of soup, and a drink for $15? That’s a steal in today’s economy. My 2 American friends who eat kids' food also approve of this place, especially the lunches.
Pepitos are my top recommendation. A hot dog with everything to start. My wife always eats the empanadas, to eat there and to go. The patacones are really good and the quantity is the size of Texas.“

“My Jamaican mom was visiting here, and we were visiting our Jamaican family, and boy the food was so good! We had the curried goat, oxtail, rice and peas, fried plantains, baked mac and cheese and cabbage! The goat and oxtail were so tender, just how it should be! The fried plantains, mac and cheese and cabbage were so flavorful and just perfect! 10/10!!!!! The service great too because we ordered alot and they were able to separate everything how we wanted. Their wings are fried perfectly and coated well with sauce. Fries were good and lightly salted. Their bacon cheeseburger tasted really fresh with a great sear.
