“We were looking for somewhere new to try before a show at DPAC, and we’re so glad we stopped in! Even though we made our reservation at the last minute, they were able to accommodate us and gave us a great table.

The service was outstanding from everyone, especially our server, who made the experience even more enjoyable. We ordered two wine flights, and they were fantastic—we discovered several new wines that we’ll definitely be purchasing in the future.

The food was just as impressive. I had never eaten Brussels sprouts before, but these were absolutely delicious! The Wagyu beef sliders were superb and cooked perfectly. We finished our meal with the warm banana bread and gelato, and it was the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner. I highly recommend saving room for dessert!

The location couldn’t have been more convenient. It’s an easy walk to DPAC, and the parking garage is just a block away, making for a stress-free evening.

It has three different areas that have different vibes to them without feeling disconnected. Inside there is more dancing bar feel, the lower outdoor area is more of a chill bar area, and the upper areas is great with the rooftop bar. So depending on your mood, this is kind of a one stop shop.“

“I finally came to Boricua Soul after seeing them on one of the food shows. I brought my mother along and we really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere along with the food. Mom got the shrimp sandwich with collard greens and mac & cheese while I got the Boricua Bowl with fried chicken. The greens were great and while I’m not really a mac & cheese person, this mac & cheese was hitting on all cylinders. Great down to earth business where the owners are in tune with all who walk through the doors to share their space. The fact they’re located at American Tobacco in downtown Durham right by the Durham Bulls baseball stadium makes it a must stop. Defintely coming back the next time I’m in Durham when I see Mom again.“

The beers were excellent, with a really good variety available and the food was probably some of the best I've ever had at a brewery. The Cuban sandwich was super tasty and the Cajun-seasoned fries were ridiculously good. It's a nice space, too. Plenty of seating inside and outside. I dearly wish I lived closer so I could go again.“

“We love Motorco because it’s a small venue with affordable tickets. Standing room only with a few stadium bench seats on one side. The best thing is that it’s part large outside patio bar + open air inside bar/restaurant + indoor music venue. Great food, drinks, service and people! It’s also close to other bars and restaurants in a cool little neighborhood.“

“Let me tell you chef ??!!!!! My daughter was there about 2 weeks ago for a college tour. She came home telling us about Vittles at the Park. She is a picky eater and she talked about was the Cajun Catfish. Here we are 2 wks latter, with other family members and we all were thoroughly pleased with those at the front counter to everything we ate. I had the flounder combo with 2 sides (collards and candied yams). I opened up my dinner and I know I wasn’t going to finish it all because there were 3 nice size pieces of fish. I started eating before you know it all was gone. That’s how good the food was. When we’re back in town we will definitely be back & we have more family members accompanying us as well.“
