“Absolutely one of the best places for Indian food we have been to. The place is new but the are a sister restaurant to Andaaz in Biltmore. The quality is very comparable and the drinks are a wonderful blend of flavors Eric had the Lamb Vindaloo while I had the Brazino. Both were amazing The staff were very friendly and helpful. Kevin the bartender was great. But don't get confused he isn't Indian. The owner Tony does have a vested interest and personally gets input from the patrons“
“At Jettie Rae's Oyster House in Asheville, folks, I embarked on a seafood escapade that rocked my taste buds to the core! Picture this: Mussels so sublime, they practically waltzed onto my palate, and the branzino – oh, that branzino – a flavor fiesta that had me questioning if I'd stumbled upon seafood nirvana! ?? And let me tell you, if you're thinking of hitting this place, make reservations because it's a flavor party that gets packed faster than you can say "delicious!" Lol Massive shoutout to the stellar service and a staff so friendly, they're practically your seafood soulmates! ???“
“My delightful visit to The Lobster Trap in October 2014 left me with a taste of the ocean and a dash of excitement. As a devoted seafood enthusiast, I was eager to sample their offerings. Here’s my refreshed take:Food: The dishes were an absolute feast for the senses. From succulent lobster to perfectly prepared clams, each bite transported me to coastal bliss.Beer Selection: While the beer selection didn’t quite match the excellence of the seafood, it was like a refreshing sea breeze on a warm day. Perhaps an expanded variety would elevate the overall experience even further.Pricing: Yes, the bill left me raising an eyebrow, but let’s focus on the positives. The quality of the food justified some of the cost, and the ambiance made it a memorable evening. In summary, my experience at The Lobster Trap was a harmonious blend of delight and anticipation. If you’re a seafood lover, this spot is a must-visit. Just be prepared to savor every moment—and maybe splurge a little.“
“The best crab cake we've ever had by far. Crab cake is a little misleading in that it is mostly just crab! And high quality at that! Cornbread was pretty good and the club sandwich was delicious. Pretty pricey lunch but worth every penny.“
“Such a fun place with a great atmosphere! Staff were all so welcoming and helpful, and the food was FANTASTIC!!!! I am already looking forward to going back and getting the blackened catfish and more mac n cheese! Don't miss the fries, they are so unique in the best possible way, you have to try them. Also, I am NOT a pickle person so when I say I ate every single pickle on my plate, just know that's an incredible pickle. I could write a novel about the sauces but instead I'll just say each one was so clearly crafted to perfectly compliment the dish it came with, I was VERY impressed.“
“My wife and I came in and were greeted right away. We were sat, greeted by our server and orders taken right away as well. Our dinner arrived at the table, it looked great. I ordered the shrimp and grits, my wife the Baja chicken. I was not a fan of the creole sauce so our server had the manager Jake come over. Jake offered to make something else or remake the dish without the creole sauce!!!! It was fantastic!!! My wife and I are in town for work/pleasure. We will be back!!! Oh, my wife's dish was amazing!!!“
“The food was good, but the drinks were GREAT! Had the moonshine margarita, and it was FANTASTIC!!!! I'm not typically a moonshine fan, but I figured I'd try something new. It didn't disappoint in the least. My girlfriends all got the spicy margarita or the cucumber margarita, and they enjoyed theirs, but everyone said my moonshine margarita was their favorite!“
“Fig Bistro was a very delicious! The potato bacon soup was pretty flavorful and a bit different then potato soup that I’m used to - less chunky and more smooth. The market fish was a trout was delicious with more of a citrus taste. The salmon was tasty with a bit of a lighter buttery flavor. The apple tart dessert was very good as well! Our waiter was very attentive. The place was smaller but comfortable.“
“Good place for Indian food if you're ok with getting it from a buffet. The food I tried seemed fresh (& spicy) and delicious. We arrived after many people were already eating, so some of the food was gone (empty pan) but the lesson here is arrive no later than noon. Having said that... I would try it again because the buffet offers a variety of tasty treats that are labeled above the dish (on signs) and it's not expensive.“
“The great oysters and seafood are amazing! Try the North Carolina oysters! They are the best. And the menu is very sensitive to food/diet restrictions. I have Celiacs but have FRIED Oysters every visit! The burgers are also amazing! LOVE Little Pearl!“
“We loved it. Great tacos, great guacamole, and great salsa. Everything was so flavorful. We are visiting from Texas so we are very cautious about Mexican food, but it has our stamp of approval. It was very empty because we ate between lunch and dinner, so our service was a little too good. If you’re craving Mexican this is a good choice.“
“Somehow well-known, yet still an early walk-in, so off the "local secret" list. In similar balance, the experience is up-scale Asheville casual. Expect it to be a little pricey. Composed, semi-seasonal menu, not pretentiously obfuscated. Good ingredients conservatively elaborated, leaning toward French full-flavor. Service is professional without being stuffy or hovering. If accustomed to fine dining, appropriately AVL-relaxed; if new, not intimidating.-=-Setting expectations after reading other reviews: allow adequate time. The menu favors multiple courses and conversation. Think, "leisurely double-date with a short walk," if going to a show after dinner.“
“I am so glad we found this little place! My fiance and I live in Delaware, but we are moving to Asheville in July. We visited the city last week, and I was recommend this restaurant from the Facebook group, Asheville Foodies. Everything was fantastic. The service was great, atmosphere was awesome, and the food was amazing. My fiance and I eat Japanese ramen every Friday night as a tradition from our favorite ramen place in Delaware. So we wanted to establish a new Friday night ramen spot for when we move. And I think we found it! Such a little gem.“
“I had a great experience here. My daughter and I stopped here while visiting Asheville. The hostess was working very hard to get the Togo orders out! She was very friendly. We had decided to do takeout as well. We waited about 20 mins for our order which was fine I was enjoying the atmosphere. We both ordered the seafood broil with snow crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, and eggs. The flavor was delicious and the food was hot! We also ordered the fried cheesecake which another customer waiting on his food recommended! I was not disappointed! I will be back again!Parking: Parking is on the same lot as the restaurant. There is handicap parking but not a lot of room in the waiting area to be seated.“
“The cook is like 7 stories tall lol. My Frenchie walked right up to him. Dude saved my life he just doesn't know it. I wish they hadn't sold out to the chain hotel. Trash business decision.Vegetarian options: Amazing food selectionDietary restrictions: Great“
“I've been here twice and really enjoyed both times. It's a relaxed and casual environment. They have a great beer list. Every item I've gotten has been delicious, especially anything fried! Fried shrimp, fried oysters, french fries. My bf got the Philly cheese steak and loved it as well. Definitely our local go to spot for good service and good food in a chill place.“
“We were from out of town, chose to eat here because it was near our hotel. Absolutely delicious and very authentic Mexican- not American Mexican. Had the fajita salad - loved it. Reasonable prices. Has many family oriented platters. Highly recommend.“
“I did not expect the decor walking into here but, I loved it. Everything was really unique and distinguished the resturant a lot from others. The food was also great, and the lunch menu was affordable but also diverse.Overall a 10/10 experience“
“Ya know that ol adage "don't judge a book by it's cover?" Well, here's a prime example. The skeptic in me was concerned when we pulled in, but the Google reviews gave me hope as we walked on it. It is one of the cleanest, "home-iest" little restaurants. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and appropriately priced. Definitely glad we tried this place out!“
“Best seafood in all of Henderson county! Baybreeze is a staple of Hendersonville and has been around for many many years. The staff is like a well oiled machine. Teamwork is impeccable. Back of house gets your food out fresh and hot with no wait time! It's truly impressive.“
“Service was outstanding, knowledgeable and catered perfectly to a group of 8 with very demanding allergies. Food was outstanding (I had the ribeye) and the prices were more then reasonable. Also had 4 kids with me, they were very accommodating and the kids menu makes ordering easy. Very gluten-free friendly.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free easyKid-friendliness: Kids' menu and accommodative“
“Fried green tomatoes and blueberry bbq wings were delicious! The smash burger and garlic herb carrots were good. I wouldn’t get the turkey panini again. It definitely needed spinach or a tomato or the blueberry bbq sauce to make it better.“
“A warm ambience to the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. Our waiter was great. I forgot to get his name but he was very attentive to my nephew and me. The food was cooked to perfection.Dietary restrictions: This is a seafood restaurant so not a viable option for vegetarians or vegans. As a pescatarian, this was a perfect option.Kid-friendliness: Bring your children. Red lobster has always been a family restaurant.“
“Went for lunch on Sunday after church. Parking is limited and the place is always packed. Got seated quickly. Our orders were out super fast. My fried catfish was just what I wanted. Super fresh and flaky! The slaw and fries were great too. Big portions for the price these days.“
“Carrabbas has been a long-time favorite for many years. This location staff has always been attentive with a smile. On this visit, a friend and I stopped for appetizers and snacks. The prickly pear martini was very tasty and my friend tried one of the Sangrias...um..umm..ummm!We ordered calamari with the spicy sauce on the side and a combination platter. The calamari I was disappointed with. The breading overpowered the calamari, and it was borderline salty. Not just that, but the breading was too much. Peeling the batter off, I was left with almost a quarter cup of it on my plate. If this is the new way, they'll prepare calamari. I may not be ordering it anymore.Oh, I almost forgot. I ordered a canoli cake for two for my Mom and I. Was that so good, very flavorful.But..! I still love me some Carrabbas!“
