“Yall. Simply the best pastries and coffee I’ve had in quite some time! Went to Black Mountain to celebrate my birthday with my daughter & sister. We ordered one of every pastry and had a taste test of 3 items and took home the rest. THEY WERE AMAZING!! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the staff friendly and attentive, and the pastries tasted like they came from a French pastry shop. Will definitely be back soon!“

“I was cruising through the local ingles drifting my buggy a little bit though the turns here in Hendersonville. The plan was to just grab a few things for work and some coffee. I will be honest and admit I am usually a Folgers kind of guy. I mean they say it is the best part of waking up, and who am I to argue. I decided to try something new, that’s when I noticed some bags sitting on a shelf towards the front of the store. Dynamite Coffee! I gave it a quick google and it turns out it is made local. I noticed one of the bags had a cannon on it. I thought it looked pretty cool, which all the bags had good looking designs. “Dynamite Expresso” was the name. I said, I am sure that it has plenty of caffeine. I poured it in the coffee maker, and when I say it smelled like heaven, I mean it. Finally, after much anticipation it finished brewing, the room was filled with the smell of happiness. As I poured it into my cup, my mouth was watering like Niagara Falls. Then, I took a sip. I would compare the taste to warm sunshine on a cold snowy day or putting on a jacket you haven’t worn in a while, and you find a $20 dollar bill in one of the pockets. It was truly amazing. Then the caffeine started to do its job. Not jittery, just a smooth ramp up of motivation and alertness. Like a plane taking off. I want to say thank you! I am sure my job would thank you too.“

“I had a money clip fall from my pocket into one of their (Starbucks, Black Mountain, North Carolina - NC 9 & I-40) visitor chairs. A couple of young female customers spotted it immediately. They turned it over to the shift supervisor Alexis (Lexi). She protected my information and cash. She put it in her safe, I rapidly discovered it was missing called the store. She verified my information and turned it over to me, when I returned to the store about 90 minutes from my home. The coffees were great, the atmosphere was great, and the team is well trained, and courteous! This could have been a very bad thing, but thanks to honest customers, and Lexi, my information was not stolen, nor did I have any cash taken. This impresses me about Starbucks corporate, and the store. So good to have wonderful values and morals in place in this example!“

“We came in from out of town to relax and have a drink. I ordered coffee and my wife ordered a martini. We didn’t know that you weren’t able to have alcohol outside (although someone at another table had a martini as well). We had our dogs with us and we apologized profusely when the bar manager Victoria came outside and mentioned it. As we were gathering our things, we could hear her inside talking about how she’s tired of this “sh*t” , telling patrons at the bar. Initially we ignored it since we were trying to have a relaxing time in a new town. She kept on so I went in and asked if she was talking about us loud enough to where we can hear her outside! She apologized and said there are signs on the tables. First of all, there was one sign on a table that was written on what looked like a piece of paper and you could barely read the words. There was NO sign on our table and she said people take them off. I don’t like people insinuating that I’m doing something I didn’t do. We paid a 30 percent gratuity for the service we received and this is the treatment your customers receive?! Unbelievable! I told her it’s probably not in her best interest to insult and berate customers that are spending their hard earned money in your town.“
