“Visited for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back. Right off the bat, the employees were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our water glasses stayed full and our cocktails were delicious. The food was phenomenal—appetizer, entrées, and dessert. The presentation was lovely and the taste was divine. The Whipped Feta & Fig Crostinis were a surprise hit! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Red Cream Paneer Curry and I couldn’t get enough of the Tagliatelle Pasta Alfredo with Wild Mushrooms and Shiitake Bacon. The ice cream sundae was great, too! It was my first time tasting non-dairy ice cream that actually tastes good! Given the quality and care taken to provide vegan food that is THIS tasty, I think the pricing is fair, especially when compared to other local cafés/bistros/restaurants in the area. Casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, but still nice enough for a date night. Can’t wait to come back!“

“The best thing here is the gelato. It’s super high end. Smoothies >$7 latte >$7. Served in to go cups. Not a ton of natural lighting, but some seating decent for working. The gelato is really nice actually, esp spicy mango.

“We were married at the Teahouse in early November and could not have asked for a better night. We've loved the Teahouse since before they became an established wedding venue, so we knew it would be the perfect spot for us to celebrate.

They've been making a lot of gorgeous changes & updates to the property that really make it special! The grounds are full of spots for gorgeous photos, and the indoor/outdoor spaces are perfect for the flow of guests dancing, mingling, drinking and eating throughout the night.

Sandy, the venue's do-it-all person, was extremely helpful, informative, laid back and put together from the start. I believe it was Sandy who designed the custom cocktails we chose for the wedding - both used teas from the Teahouse and were so delicious. We got a ton of compliments from our guests on both the food (tortellini! so good!) and drinks. Thanks again Svetlana, Sandy, and team for all of your help making our special celebration magical.“

“Great tasting BoBoa drinks, rolled ice cream, tayaki. Everything house made fresh upon order.

Friendly staff and family business. The coffee ice cream is freshly pulled espresso shot mixed with cream. And the drinks you can replace cow milk with oat milk too.

We haven’t tried the soft serve but I’m sure they are good too. Many flavors to choose from.“

“I’ve been consistently coming to this cafe since my sophomore year, and highly recommend the place to anyone who wants a caffeine boost around campus.

My personal favorite drinks are either Thai Iced Tea or Iced Vietnamese Coffee. Both cost around $5.

In addition to coffee, there is a lot of food sold, ranging from a chicken caesar salad to red velvet cake squares. The food rotates throughout the semester.

Scott runs the place and he is a fun person to talk to. He is energetic and is clearly passionate about running this cafe.

“I am a student at UNC-Chapel Hill and I come to the Starbucks at East Gate every single day, if not twice a day, to study. I am a coffee addict and switch up my Starbucks purchase every day. I purchased a white chocolate mocha that tasted like a hot coffee with frothed milk. I spoke with Whitney who was super friendly and immediately remade my drink. The remade drink tasted exactly the way it was supposed to taste. Whitney's professionalism and customer service were on point. After all, when you spend 5 dollars on a coffee it needs to taste like what you ordered and Whitney understood that! Go visit Whitney for a friendly and enjoyable experience and an awesome coffee!“

They just don’t let you down. You may encounter self-absorbed customers who mar you experience, but Starbucks is good at mediating even that. Use their phone app and cut the people frustrations. I always go out of my way to go to Starbucks they always have a consistent cuppa coffee it's hot on point and the staff is always very courteous the added bonus is now I have the Starbucks app so I can have my coffee waiting for me when I walk in thank you Staff are always wonderful and friendly~ Peppermint Mocha is amazing~ Great coffee and a fast drive thru Stuff is close and convienunt Didn't have to travel very far to grocery store or for fast food also walgreens auto part stores This Starbucks location is converted Schlottzky's Deli, and it has quite a bit of room. Of course, it's also popular, so despite its size, you may not find the exact chair you want at any given time.It is a great place to meet someone, have a coffee, and do a bit of networking. The location is convenient, and the service is what you'd expect from Starbucks. Such great staff working here. I met with my classmates to go over a presentation and we stayed for hours until they closed and they gave us each (6) cakes because we were studying and working so long.
