“Food was good. Service was good. Only problem I had was the people in the parking lot. Someone smoked weed around my vehicle so the inside of my vehicle smelled horrible for days. Marijuana smell makes me feel sick so I don't touch it. Terrible that others can't respect people enough to not smoke it in busy areas.“

“Traveling with a buddy. Stopped for a burger and fries based on reviews. The ordering process is done on a ticket you fill out yourself. They serve pepsi products. The fries were great, like at the fair, but seasoned with lemon pepper. Single 8oz patty that was good, but maybe on the dry side. All in all, good place for a burger. The food was almost $15 by itself, drink included.“

“After following Fox’s on social media and seeing their magical menu in photo form, I finally got the chance to try them out a couple of months back. I’m just disappointed in myself for not trying them sooner. I immediately fell in love with the Ghostface Fillah which starts with a sourdough caraway bread grilled to perfection, cheese, arugula, hot roast beef, horseradish mayo, and a Demi glacé you want to dip everything in. It’s absolutely killer and I’ve not been able to stray away from it. But that’s not it, I’ve tried the fries, pasta salad, fried cheese, and Big Wes’ Little Weiners. Not sure who Wes is, but yknow what… good for him. Everything on the menu is delicious and somehow they’ve managed to keep that impeccable quality even when it’s for takeout/delivery. We’ve found many reasons to order from Fox’s recently and they never miss. Everything is packaged perfectly, nothing missing, all the sauces, and it’s just that damn good.We’ve also dined in and love the little hole in the wall this place really is. The restaurant is spotless and the guys working are super nice and attentive. The last time we dined in, the local health inspector came in and tried her best to ruin the kitchens day, but they still managed to take care of us and make sure we had everything we needed for a good experience. “Got the Rebel Yell with tater tots which was yummy. The sandwich is big so I only at half. Our server was responsive, although they gave my husband tater tots instead of the waffle fries he ordered. They had a high chair for my son. And changed TV channels when they noticed us trying to watch a particular screen that was further away. I would eat here again. Just wish the table lanterns were brighter, its dark inside the restaurant.“

“I had to pay for parking at this restaurant, $6 per hour. Food was made to order and very tasty, but service left something to be desired. Our waiter was serving both as bartender and waiter, so felt neglected at times. Prices are a bit high for the portions, but the quality and freshness made up for that a bit. Paid $8 for a Pale Ale and the glass was 3/4 full.. Quite obviously a restaurant in the market of tourism, so as a local I don't think I'd go back due to the prices and mediocre service. The food is the best redeeming quality.“

The bartender was nice but had trouble understanding tequila, soda, and grapefruit twice for some reason. The beer i had was good though. Overall, there's always room for improvement and they could use more help so the staff is not overwhelmed BUT, really great place with great variety of food and cool design of the place. Apparently many of the restaurants and shops in the cargo district are designed out of shipping containers which was cool inside and outside. “My last visit here (11/26/23) was the best I have ever had at this location or any five guys' location. The fries were cooked perfectly. They were not oily and not undercooked. Cooking freshly made fries can be tricky and I have received them oily and undercooked before so that is why I mention those details. On this visit, the fries were 5 stars. The burgers were also 5 stars. The hamburger patties were cooked perfectly, all the toppings were fresh and the bun had just the right amount of mayo on it. The service was also 5 stars. The person that took my order was very nice and I did not have a long wait for my food. The atmosphere at this location is nice. They remodeled it a couple of years ago. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere was because the drink area was a bit dirty. Not terrible but could be better. Overall if you have never tried 5 guys or if you have and want to go to a location that does it right this one is a must-try.Parking: There is plenty of parking in the free parking lot. “I am a new resident to town and have been making my way around to the locally owned spots. I popped in for lunch and had the most delicious cheeseburger! I ended up adding on hushpuppies, which were also delicious. The diner is a step back in time and absolutely adorable with counter and booth seating. “My boyfriend and I were in Castle Hayne and very hungry. On his recommendation we went through the drive-through at Hardee's and got their 10 piece chicken tender meal and fries. I was honestly impressed with how yummy the chicken tenders were. I had low expectations. I won't necessarily go to Hardee's on the regular, but now I know it's a decent option if needed. The fries were ok. Definitely get all the sauces- the chicken with ranch was a good combo.“
