“A friend came to town to visit and I suggested we go to Dockside for dinner. What a great place! The food was awesome. The prices were very fair. The service and atmosphere was top tier! We sat in the newly re-opened dining room next to a cozy fireplace. By the time we were finished with dinner, we were brainstorming on ways we can plan an event back in the tiki bar area!“

“This is my go to restaurant when looking for a nice place to take guests or to celebrate a birthday. Very good food; Since it’s a steak and chop house I order a steak rather in house ground sirloin burger. I’m not thrilled with their mixed drinks because I don’t think they make their own sour mix but the wine and beer selection is good. I usually make reservations before hand as it can be busy on the weekends.“

“It’s rare to find a restaurant that excels in every way, but Parizade truly hit it out of the park! From the warm welcome by my server, Raymond, the exceptional manager, Zhait Ponce and the entire waitstaff, made me feel like family from the moment I walked in. The salmon, potatoes, and unique drink Zhait made me were unforgettable. And the chocolate cake?! To die for! Parizade is now a favorite, and I’ll definitely be bringing more friends and family to experience it. Thank you, Zhait and the Parizade crew, for a perfect dining experience!“

“I love Mayflower the food is delicious. I moved to Durham, NC in the 90s and I am still a fan. Thank you Mayflower. I only and always get Popcorn shrimp with fries. Delicious great customer service and the wait time is 5-10 minutes hot and fresh. Thank you.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp outside for wheelchair access. And there is plenty of room on the inside.“

“I have ordered several custom cakes for special occasions and they have all been delicious! I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and they do an amazing job accommodating both and taking the time to discuss with me my options for cake, frosting and filling flavors. The rest of my family (who can eat gluten and dairy) even LOVE these cakes. They say that they can't tell the difference! The chocolate cake is our favorite.“

“Hi guys I finally had Mr. Dons famous food. So let me say this the proportion was lot of food. The taste is certainly southern. I was really impressed. We had the ribs the smoked chicken, potato salad, collard greens yams mac & cheese it was so much food. I think one plate could have fed me and my wife if you follow him on Facebook, you can find them location, that’s what I did successful so you want some really good Soul Food“
