“Best family restaurant around. Great food and service.“

“Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and craft beer on tap! My family and I love this place. My only complaint would be that last time we were here, someone at the table next to us had a dog in a tote bag that was most definitely NOT a service animal. Not one staff member said anything to her. This is a problem for me as I suffer from severe animal allergies. In addition, I don’t feel it is sanitary to bring animals in an establishment where food is being sold/served. Like I said, we love this place, but if this becomes a habit we will have to find another place to go. ☹️“

“The hostess gave us a warm greeting and was helpful. The waitress was efficient and friendly. The salad bar was fresh and had a good variety of items. The menu was varied and the dinner ( shrimp and scallops) was delicious, cooked perfectly.

“Derek and his folks did an outstanding job for our daughters wedding of 200+ people! Derek is a great guy, very accommodating, and we LOVED his food! I even had some of the "Pickiest" of guests tell us how great the food was which says a lot! We will use Derek and his team for other events in the future! “Rachel and I ate at MJ's Saturday night and it was one of the Best meals that I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Michael Angelo is alive and well and working as a chef at MJ's. There is No Way that this restaurant is a 4.7, its got to be a solid 5. If you want the Best meal that you have ever eaten, try MJ's. You will be glad that you did !“

“Was going to Greensboro and when I got to Kernersville I decided to take the old way Market street. As soon I turned I saw a small building sitting in the back of the parking lot with a sign that aid Abel's Grill. Looks like my kind of place, when I walked in and saw a row of barstools athe counter I knew it was my kind of place. I got the foot long hotdog with chili and slaw and had to use around a dozen napkins to keep my beard clean. Will be back“

“AWESOME! Little Mom& Pop diner. We went for breakfast and I had two eggs oe and a 5oz hamburger steak with grits. My wife had the Western Omelet. My eggs and burger were cooked perfectly and the grits were nice and smooth. The omelet had sautéed onions and peppers in it which a lot of places just add raw veggies into the mix. It was done they way it should be and perfect amount of cheese. We got there about 8:45am and the morn rush was gone but it is a very small place with maybe a dozen tables and booths. We were thrilled with the service and my coffee cup was always full. Parkers is a place we will definitely go back to in the future. 👍😁“

“Riz is an amazing bartender. He will absolutely try to match you to your ideal cocktail and watching him work is an education.
For a hotel bar the atmosphere was great.
The bar is quite small, so if like me you like to sit up at the counter you may be sos at busy times.“

“Grill Cheese sandwich- $4.50 White sandwich bag- .45 cents. Tax- .35 cents = One grill cheese sandwich to go- $5.30. Or make 10 at home for $4.50 and save the bag and tax. America is in serious trouble. Todd's s not the problem. We are for allowing this to happen. I will never allow anyone to sell me a white sandwich bag for 45 cents again. Cannot afford this place any longer. Sorry for the owners.“

“I thought I would never again taste food like my Aunt Hattie made it, but today a friend took me to University Kitchen for lunch, and I had green beans, stewed cabbage, fried chicken livers, and cornbread. It was like going back in time to my Aunt Hattie's kitchen and once again tasting good old country cooking at its best. They have managed to keep those great vintage recipes alive, and I now have a new favorite restaurant. Everyone who worked there was amiable and on top of service. It was great!“

“My mother-in-law and I eat at Fitz on Main 2-3 times the three days they are open each week. We love all the food we have eaten here...from the French toast, the Shammy, and omelets to the cheeseburgers, hotdogs, crispy chicken salad and more and can't forget those amazing desserts by Danette. We love the atmosphere, even the closeness and sqeazing by the bar area to get to our table. That closeness is the same you feel from the staff, the friendly faces and regulars you see each week. “Wonderful customer service started at check-in and continued throughout the stay! The Bistro morning staff 3/19 was warm and welcoming! Very clean rooms, close to downtown and interstate. Only took 10 minutes to get downtown all weekend which was nice. Parking was great, you can park on whatever side of the property you are staying on. Would stay again!“

“I normally don’t write reviews. This was My Family and I first time here. It’s nothing fancy but it was nice. We had a big group (12) there was enough seating for us and our food came out fairly quick. There was an issue with our pizza being dropped (things happen) The lady at the counter was very nice and apologetic. They already had a new pizza in the oven and offered us chips or fries while we waited. Which the pizza came out in no time, she even brought it to us and apologized again and asked if we needed anything else. The young man busing tables was very friendly and helpful. I wish I would have got their names to give them kudos but they unfortunately don’t have name tags.“
