“We had lunch here and it was DELISH. I had the blackened fish tacos (mahi mahi was the fish of the day) and our 11 year old had the Old Bay seasoned fish tacos. We both loved them, and it was a ton of food. So fresh and so delicious! My husband and our 15 year old had the crabby patty sandwich and they both devoured them and were very happy with their meals. Our 13 year old had the crabby patty wrap and liked it, and our 9 year old had the chicken nuggets kids meal and liked that too. The service was great and the atmosphere was cheerful, laid back, and vibrant. Highly recommend this place for lunch. You won’t be disappointed!“

“While at the OBX for our annual family vacation, we visited the CC for dinner. Always the best! The raw oysters were the best we ever had and the mignonette sauce excellent. Bring back the scallop puffs! See you next summer!“

“This was our second time here but with more family and it did not disappoint. This was our last night of our vacation. Staff was friendly, our waitress was on it. Best service. Food and drinks were great. Live music was awesome. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful vacation.“

“Honestly one of the most underrated places to eat in OBX. My wife and I most always make it a point to eat at Fatty’s. The food is fantastic and the staff have always been alert and friendly. Truthfully a great place to eat!“

“Avon’s Froggy Dog is always a must when we’re in the OBX. The food is amazing, the service is fast and cheerful, and Liza makes the BEST Bloody Mary on the island. Go for the Sunday Brunch - you’ll be glad you did!“

“Ate there on my birthday. May 22. Food was great. I had the sheepshead and my husband had the oysters. Chloe, our waitress was wonderful. She treated us to a bowl of the famous chowder and chocolate cake. We loved it so much until we stopped on the way to the ferry and bought some frozen. Everything we ate was perfect..“

“Recently discovered Orange Blossom when we were down in Buxton for the 4 Plus Tourney. Pistachio muffins were to die for!! Stopped for a breakfast burrito on the way home… 10/10!!“
“These guys really know what they're doing! On and off like clockwork. Very pleasant trip. A little wait to board from Hatteras, but made all the better with the shops around to peruse. Coming back, hardly a wait at all. We just missed the ferry, and only had to wait about 30 minutes to board.“

“Rusty’s Surf and Turf was absolutely incredible from start to finish! The fried flounder was perfectly crispy, fresh, and full of flavor, and the steak was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and one of the best we’ve had in a long time. And the dessert? Completely to die for! The perfect ending to an amazing meal. What truly made the experience unforgettable though was Angela and Rusty themselves. They were some of the kindest, most welcoming people you could ever meet and made us feel right at home the entire time. You can truly tell how much love and care they put into both the food and the atmosphere. If you’re looking for amazing food, wonderful people, and an all-around fantastic dining experience, Rusty’s Surf and Turf is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!“

“My words will not do this place justice. This place is a must-go on Hatteras Island. Trust me, you will be back. Owners Joel and Jess are some fantastic people and they have a great spot in Hatteras Landing. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a drink, some food and fun! “Had the best evening with Hatteras Sol for dinner. The Oysters Rockefeller is unique and delicious. The food overall is exceptional, the staff are warm, friendly, and inviting, and this is an excellent place to enjoy the sunset!“

“Best crab cakes ever, hot and very tasty. Shrimp, delicious. Great coleslaw, hush puppies and decent fries. I thoughtthe scallops may be from another type fish. Grain was wrong, but very tasty. Overall a good stop. Reasonable pricing. It's a bar, so it is noisy.However the service was good.“

“I’ve been coming there every year since they were a smaller shop. This was the first year I was dissatisfied. My husband can’t stomach pickles, they put them on his sandwich after he asked them not to, the receipt showed the request. However when it came it had pickles. I sent it back, I know 100% they just took them off and gave it back within 3 minutes, so I complained and requested a new sandwich. They acted like they were mad at ME?! Excuse me, please do better. Sincerely a devoted customer, who will be back because the owner deserves another chance.“

“The young man working all alone tonight was amazing. I didn’t get his name, but dark hair and foreign accent. There were probably 20 people in line when we arrived. He served each of them efficiently and with a smile. When we were up to order, the owner decided to show up and take over. Fine, except that when he did, he started berating the young employee for “getting into this situation”. The only situation was the fact that he was left alone with a large volume of customers. We were really turned off by the owner’s behavior.“

“Got the Chicago dog with sweet potato fries, husband got a burger. Everything was delicious. Sweet potato fries had a cinnamon sugar dusting that made them amazing. Staff was very attentive and went above and beyond with my picky kids. Definitely recommend!“
