I love that the inside had booths, great for studying or meeting with friends. The coffee was amazing. I tried a caramel bar, it was good but a little hard. I definitely will be back!“

The cashier stared at us the whole time and asked us to hurry. They told us we had a limit of an hour inside. We didn't question it and left. This was 3 years ago. Could of been my new favorite coffee spot. Have not and will not be back.“

“I just love this little bakery. They are always welcoming and so sweet. I love the whoopie pies they make. My favorites are pumpkin and oatmeal. Both are soft and filled with vanilla buttercream that is smooth not broken. I also love the little banana bread loaves moist with chocolate chips and pecans, only thing I wish they were much bigger. We will be bringing our grandson to play putt putt soon. What fun! Support home town, it’s so worth it!“

“This location provided me regularly with hot water, no questions asked, for my 8 month old baby. In the aftermath of hurricane Helene, it took 4 days of no power for the roads to clear up enough for us to evacuate to family outside of the state. In those 4 days of no power or water, this location was still running, providing warm water to residents and hope in the shape of coffee to fuel us in our recovery. They provided warm water for me to make my baby's bottle for the 4 days that we were stuck here. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Heros come in all shapes and forms, and you were mine then“

“Best wedding cake ever! The sweetest lady there made our dream wedding cake! Not here to slander another business, but our original wedding cake came from another place and it was an absolute disaster. We went here, the day before the wedding, and explained what had happened and showed her the cake. She made this bride so inexplicably happy when she said she could make me a brand new cake, exactly the way I wanted it, in 24 hours. The end result was better than I could have dreamed it to be! She was absolutely amazing, in customer service and in her baking/decorating abilities. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing any types of cakes or cookies for special occasions. “For the past two weeks, I’ve been driving over 8 miles one way every single day just to get a cup of coffee while my kitchen is being overhauled. And honestly? I look forward to that drive — not because of the coffee alone, but because of the people at this location.

In such a short amount of time, the staff not only remembered my name, but also my regular order. The consistency is always there, but what truly stands out is the warmth. The genuine smiles. The way I’m greeted every time like I matter — not like I’m just another transaction passing through.

No matter the day or the shift, regardless of how busy it is (and they are busy), every employee takes a moment to acknowledge me, ask how I’m doing, and make me feel welcome. I can see how hard they work. I can see when they’re tired. Yet they still choose kindness, conversation, and care. That says everything about the people here.

It’s gotten to the point where I almost wish my kitchen renovation would take longer — just so I’d have a reason to keep coming here every day.

I’ve seen some negative reviews complaining about speed or small inconveniences, and I truly don’t think they’re fair. I remember Christmas time — when this was one of the only places open — and even then, the staff showed up with smiles and grace. That kind of dedication deserves appreciation, not criticism.

This team goes above and beyond, and it shows. Thank you for the coffee, yes — but more importantly, thank you for the humanity. You’ve made my mornings better in ways you probably don’t even realize.

“I shared with one of the workers something that took place previously, and they assured me that it was wrong. Well I have to tell you, I am very happy with this place after visiting today. I tried a Boston creme, and the last time I tried one in a dunkin' Donuts was in Four Oaks, and it was very bad. Or maybe South Carolina. Wasn't good, trust me, but this exceeded my expectations. Now I know where to go for Boston Creme donuts. I have been a very frequent visitor. You won't be disappointed. I get an egg, cheese and bacon, plain bagel sandwich, and it's good.“

“I decided to stop in to grab a cold brew during a grocery run on Saturday 5/17/25 around 12:30 in the afternoon. Per normal, the Target Starbucks line was rather long, but I was luckily shopping kid free that day and in no rush to scurry back home, so I waited patiently (all the mamas understand). I would guesstimate I waited between 10-15 minutes and the entire time only one person was working, a very tall, dark haired man. I wish I had gotten his name because I would love to give him the biggest shout out! The whole time I was in line I watched him seamlessly take multiple orders and make their drinks all in a line like a bar tender. He never messed up, never faltered, and pumped out coffee to the masses like a pro. You know how us white girls can get about our sugar flavored drinks, and he met every single one of us in line with a big smile and welcomed greeting. He held polite conversations as he worked and even made sure each person got their correct order handed directly to them, instead of just slamming them on the counter for you to find. I'm not sure where you found them gem of a gentleman, but during the time I was there, he made each and every person feel like their order was important and even the grumpiest Karen seemed to leave in a better mood (that may have also been because they finally got their caffeine fix for the day). He made sure when taking your order you didn't miss anything, and would double check to make sure you have everything you want when he handed off the goods. He'd even offer to fix your drink if you have any issues. I know it's stressful being the only one working (I'm hoping there was a coworker on break and Starbucks didn't just fail this man by having him work alone on a Saturday), and I hope he knows how amazing he is to take a deep breath, grit his teeth, and keep on pushing through as if nothing was the matter. I don't even know if my cold brew tasted good or not because the only flavor I could taste was pride. Whoever his mama is, should be proud.“

But my drinks are always made fast and correctly, most of the bad reviews have clearly just never worked customer service or understand how workplaces work. Like sorry but calling corporate on teenage minimum wage workers won’t help anybody.“
