“Such a cool place. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Megan was there Sunday morning and super friendly. I had a latte that was fantastic, and a brownie which was really good. My wife had a specialty latte and a scones and said both were really good. The lattes weren't scolding which was a plus. You'll see in the pictures, it's just a cool place to hang“

“I just love this little bakery. They are always welcoming and so sweet. I love the whoopie pies they make. My favorites are pumpkin and oatmeal. Both are soft and filled with vanilla buttercream that is smooth not broken. I also love the little banana bread loaves moist with chocolate chips and pecans, only thing I wish they were much bigger. We will be bringing our grandson to play putt putt soon. What fun! Support home town, it’s so worth it!“

“Very cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff, I live just up the road from this coffee shop and was able to walk down and back in under 20 minutes! Cameron and Nastacia were both nice and engaging during my time and made me feel welcome to come back and try them again! I got the Bluebird Iced Latte with Oatmilk which reminds me of a cinnamon blueberry muffin (as if you got a blueberry muffin from Panera and added cinnamon to it). I look forward to my next visit!“

“Ate there the other day with my children. We ordered the Nutella crepe, some juices, a cold coffee and a hot coffee. Everything was very good. Customer service was great- the man was very sweet to us. I definitely want to bring my husband back here on the weekends.“

“The drinks are absolutely delicious, haven't had one that I wouldn't recommend. Employees are always friendly. I love all the trinkets and things for sale, mostly handmade. Sipping a tasty drink and watching cats always makes my day better!“

“Our sip and chat met there for the first time. We were welcomed by the staff and were not given a time limit on our stay. All of our beverages were wonderful. It’s a great location and beautifully decorated .
I must add to my review that the past 3 weeks the temperature in the coffee shop has been 80 degrees!!! When we asked the staff about making cooler they said it was set by management. We have email their web site and via facebook and received no response.“

“This is tucked inside Ingles Supermarket, so that is the only time I come here - when I’m shopping. No worries though, I get stellar service no matter what. Their little kiosk/booth is spotless and the workers are always polite and full of smiles. I’ve never had a bad drink here. Always made quickly and to perfection. I highly recommend stopping here for a treat while shopping.“

“I shared with one of the workers something that took place previously, and they assured me that it was wrong. Well I have to tell you, I am very happy with this place after visiting today. I tried a Boston creme, and the last time I tried one in a dunkin' Donuts was in Four Oaks, and it was very bad. Or maybe South Carolina. Wasn't good, trust me, but this exceeded my expectations. Now I know where to go for Boston Creme donuts. I have been a very frequent visitor. You won't be disappointed. I get an egg, cheese and bacon, plain bagel sandwich, and it's good.“

I followed him here from the LR location, Josh is the heart and soul of the local Starbucks scene. Nobody makes drinks as well as Josh does and i highly recommend you go by and see him. “This location provided me regularly with hot water, no questions asked, for my 8 month old baby. In the aftermath of hurricane Helene, it took 4 days of no power for the roads to clear up enough for us to evacuate to family outside of the state. In those 4 days of no power or water, this location was still running, providing warm water to residents and hope in the shape of coffee to fuel us in our recovery. They provided warm water for me to make my baby's bottle for the 4 days that we were stuck here. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. “Had a wonderful time at this Starbucks location. Spent the day putting together a Lego set with my son & we got to enjoy wonderful Vanilla Cold Brew coffees while putting the Lego set together. The place was super clean, the staff was extremely polite & were super fast with their service.“

“Best wedding cake ever! The sweetest lady there made our dream wedding cake! Not here to slander another business, but our original wedding cake came from another place and it was an absolute disaster. We went here, the day before the wedding, and explained what had happened and showed her the cake. She made this bride so inexplicably happy when she said she could make me a brand new cake, exactly the way I wanted it, in 24 hours. The end result was better than I could have dreamed it to be! She was absolutely amazing, in customer service and in her baking/decorating abilities. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing any types of cakes or cookies for special occasions. They will make sure it is what you want and make it look incredible!“

“There is a barista at this store named Lucas who changed my life. I know that it sounds silly but I just lost my mother and his kind words and exceptional customer service made me feel a lot better, I really needed that. What I did not need was the female barista, Kayla, to berate me and laugh in my face. Apparently servicing a grieving customer is “standing around talking” to her. I also saw her yell at Lucas for no apparent reason while he was working and she was on “break” I haven’t seen Lucas at the store in a while and I hope that girls mean words don’t have anything to do with it! -ML“

“First they gave a coffee which was not even Luke warm and when asked they brewed and gave a fresh coffee. Other food was good. Clean store. Clean restrooms. There is little ceasers also in the same gas station. I would definitely recommend stopping for a quick break.“

“Oct. 2024 Update. The new interior layout is nice. Although many of the dining tables have been removed, there's still a few seats including outside patio. The flow, efficient and layout is well planned out. Orders are made timely because staff aren't necessarily tripping over each other.

Never Gets Order Wrong. Great service, attitude and environment. I would like to support our local coffee shops, but we don't receive the same level of service at those places. Which surprises me.“

“I loveeee this place! I recently became a dunking fan instead of Starbucks! They are much more inexpensive the cups are bigger the drinks are delicious their breakfast is better and ten times cheaper!! All around it’s great.. I don’t like that my donuts are never hot when they come out and that u have to wait a long time in the line… I know that around the time people are going to work and stuff that it’s probably just over load of orders but I think they need some more employees I would love to stop all the time on my way to work but last time I barely made it to work in time because I was in line for ten minutes… I think this is mainly a staffing issue is what I assume. So hopefully they will hire some more help! Other than that I love dunkin! I think that I’ll probably try to start mobile ordering and see if I can get in faster because the line I’m sitting in right now is taking a very very long time….but I’ll keep coming just can’t come as much as I would like because I can’t wait 10-20mins.. I’ve had to leave and just go to Starbucks across the street a few times now…. Also, if you download the app for the first 14days u have the app you get a free medium drink with any purchase every day for those first 14days and that’s awesome!“

Oh yeah... always check your order before leaving cause I paid 3 dollars for a coke I never got. “I travel WNC , East TN , and SW VA weekly for work and this by far my favorite Starbucks. Staff is the friendliest of any Starbucks I’ve ever been too. Mobile orders are always correct and done quickly. Hickory must have a lot of Karens for this store’s rating to be below 4.5.“

“Amazing service by Chris in the drive through at 4:10 AM. I wanted a hot breakfast after getting off of work so I went to McDonald’s, the first one claimed it wasn’t open yet so I went an extra 20 mins down the road to this one. Chris had a great attitude and very helpful an insuring the biscuits were nicely fresh and hot, definitely will go back to that one and hope Chris gets some sort of recognition for his work.“
