“We went for dinner last night and it was one of the best meals we have had in Greensboro in a long time. The autumn seasonal salad…perfect, the Deep fried Chicken Pot Pie was so delicious, steak cooked perfectly and the desert …peanut butter pie topped off a fantastic dinner. I have lunch there numerous times and was always delighted…Dinner was a wonderful surprise…our newest favorite restaurant, Freeman’s Grub & Pub“

“Our waitress Aryn was amazing, not as amazing as the food though. The coffee, waffles, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and sausage were all made or cooked to perfection. The housemade jelly has the perfect sweetness. Especially for those watching there sugar intake. Enjoyed my experience immensely!“

Removed one star for service. The staff were very attentive and available, but it was quite difficult to understand several of them.
Removed two stars from atmosphere. The room they first sat us in had an unpleasant smell. They moved us as soon we asked and it was greatly improved.“

“What else can I say but this place is exceptional. Today, we went to celebrate my wife's birthday as it is a family favorite. This place was busy! Spencer is already one of the hardest working Managers in Greensboro, and he was out there with the rest of the staff making sure everything was moving along. Our server, Alex, was incredible and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was exceptional, from appetizer to dessert. We had the Parmesan Artichoke cheese dip, the honey-chili aioli fried chicken sandwich, hot dog (for the kiddo), and for dessert we had the Kahlua Espresso Cheesecake (coffee w/ Bailey's for Mom and Dad). We are somehow always more impressed with this place every visit and can't wait to get back!“

“After spending the night in the shadiest hotel I’ve ever stayed, I was looking for a comfortable spot to just chill with my son for a bit with a nice cup of coffee. Tate Street Coffee House did not disappoint! The vibe is chill, and welcoming, and the coffee is amazing. Admitted I am a little boring with my coffee, just a good old cup of black with cream and sugar, but now I wish they were much closer to St. Louis!“

“I’ve been meaning to try this place for months and finally decided to go when I saw their promotion for the BOGO 50% off sushi roll this week. I was greeted by the manager or owner there (Sujra, I believe his name was) and he was very kind and welcoming.
The service was quick and the food was delicious. I definitely want to take my friends and coworkers here next time.“

“Mike's Vegan Grill specializes in vegan food so you know it's not an afterthought. I tend to eat more "healthy vegan" with no oil and low fat and this is NOT that, but it's a great option for me occasionally. My omni friend enjoyed her food as well. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-29“
