“My roommate introduced me to this placed when I first started living with him. And I can say, this is hands down one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in my area. He gets triple broccoli(spicy) and I get wings(yum yum) and we share. That's are go to. We have tried many other items on the menu.“

“I recently ordered takeout from Chong Chin, and I have to say, the food was absolutely amazing! I got the Triple Crown and the Crispy Double Delight, and both dishes were packed with bold flavors and the perfect level of spice.

The Triple Crown was a fantastic combination of shrimp, chicken, and beef, cooked to perfection with fresh veggies and a rich, flavorful sauce. Every bite was balanced and satisfying.

The Crispy Double Delight was equally impressive—crispy, crunchy, and full of heat! The texture was spot on, and the spices added just the right amount of kick without overpowering the dish.

Even as takeout, the food was hot, fresh, and well-packaged. If you’re a fan of spicy, high-quality Chinese food, Chong Chin is a must-try! I’ll definitely be ordering again soon.“

“I decided to try this Chinese restaurant for the first time this evening. The man (owner?) behind the counter is extremely nice and the other staff appears to be as well. I placed a to-go order and with it being Christmas Eve around dinner time it did take a little while to prepare but I didn’t mind the wait. The vegetable spring rolls are a little on the greasy side, but I enjoyed the General Tso’s chicken, Beef & Broccoli, and Chicken Lo Mein. Their rice is also good. Prices and portions are good. I would recommend this place to those in the area, and I’ll be back for sure. On the front walls they had a bunch of local schools write up posters and I think the restaurant donated money to them or provided them with meals? If so, I definitely appreciate a business that helps out the local educational system.“

“Wow!!! Had a really great experience here with amazing friendly service and amazing fresh food. I always feel like Panda is a step above typical fast food as is but we had the friendliest and kindest service here from the two ladies serving and on cashier duty this evening. They were both so sweet and made us feel welcome. “I'm working in the Charlotte area and I wanted some Chinese food. There were plenty of options to choose from but this place wasn't far and stood out from the rest. I got sesame chicken with white rice and a shrimp egg roll. My food was ready in 10 mins. I called in and the lady that took my order and gave me my food was very nice and polite. My food was steaming hot, the sesame chicken sauce was perfect and I had some extra to put over my rice. It was everything. Definitely worth the price. I will be back!“

“Went for the 4.7 rating. I wasn't that impressed, and neither was my sister. I ordered General Tso, which was nothing special that stood out. It was fresh and crispy at least, but the sauce tasted more like a honey sauce with no spicy kick at all. I like my crab rangoons, sweet, but these were way too sweet. Almost like candy. The crab rangoons could be a dessert. I threw away that sweet red dipping sauce after I tried one plain because I was not trying to get diabetes. The chicken wings were smaller than expected. They were also super salty. I needed a drink after the 3 of the 6 tiny wings. The shrimp was smaller than average. Not the tiny salad shrimp, but maybe one size bigger. My sisyer said the steak was a bit over-cooked. Extra sauce is $1. The drinks are cans. There are a few tables to sit and dine in. 1 shared bathroom for men and women, which was essentially well clean.“

Then we decided to give it another try and were happily surprised that the food was really delicious. “This is the first spot to have food that tastes like home to me. The flavors taste fresh and not overpowering. I returned a few days/ week later to enjoy more. I do wish they took cards bc it's cash only. There is an atm nearby- our food came within the said time. The shrimp lo mein, teriyaki chicken on a stick and shrimp egg foo young are perfection. Shrimp rolls just as delicious. I didn't care for the white rice or brown sauce for the egg foo young- it has a word unfamiliar taste and unlike most places with a darker brown sauce.“

“This is my first time here. Google said it closes at 9 and i called at 910 and they took my order anyway. The house lo mein had a healthy amount of meat. Ill come back for sure. I noticed that the review score was low and wasnt going to go until i realized how rough the area was and ALL of the restuarants had bad ratings. “This place was really a treasure hiding in the rough. When we walked up we thought it might not be that good but we read reviews and went inside. We were promptly greeted and offered a menu. They had so many options and everything was so affordable. The restaurant was so clean and the sanitation score was a 98. We got the sweet and sour chicken and the triple delight. Everything was cooked fresh on the spot. We waited 20 mins inside and they had nice booth areas to sit comfortably. Definitely recommend.“

“This is the only place that I know of that serves pig intestines using "Pah Lo" seasoning. It is cheaper if you pay cash. I always spend about $20 when I come here. It is worth it though. It is a niche shop. I am thankful to have found it, but it isn't for everybody.“

“I have not been here for over a year. Nice new atmosphere, staff was very nice. I loved all of our food. Spring rolls, egg rolls, crab ragoon. All of our chicken dishes were great. My least favorite was the sweet & sour chicken. I remember it having pineapple, but that might of just been my poor memory. All in all I will continue to get my take out from Red Dragon.“

“Probably one of the best tasting chinese restaurants in this area, however, the food is Hit or miss. There have been a few times where the rice is undercooked and dry, But for the most part it's my go for chinese. They're attentive to customizing your order. I tend to be a bit picky with my ingredients and they hit the nail on ahead every time based on my instructions.
Price is comparable to similar restaurants.
I gave it a two star for atmosphere because the place is located in an undesirable area. Make sure you lock your car doors and be vigilant.“

“We had the most perfectly cooked crab rangoon ever here. That being said, the rest of the food was not that great. What they claimed as "chicken" tasted more like some type of dry stringy turkey. It tasted like instant turkey gravy. Rice was old and hard. Egg rolls were more wrappers than cabbage.“

“I’m new to this area about a year now. I’ve been to so many different Chinese restaurants that were horrible. So greasy and no freshness to their food. Well when my coworker told me about this place I was hesitant as My family and I have eaten at horrible spots already. Well glad we tried it and was told about this place. Their food is full of fresh ingredients and not at all greasy. Granted I personally only get the same thing which is their house special wonton soup. (Only because I can’t eat certain things anymore) But their delicious egg rolls is so amazing. My kids used to get their combo meals and I tried it that was great too but once my kids saw what I kept getting they wanted to try. Now they want me to order almost every week the soup I was ordering. Not only is the food their great but the guy behind the desk at cash register is always so pleasant. Even when my order one day wasn’t what I expected but still good. He said he will handle it, and he did next time I came back. I wasn’t expecting that, great customer service. Everyone so pleasant there. My favorite Chinese spot. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Keep up the great work guys. Loyal customer here ?“

“I was in the mood for Chinese food so I decided to make a stop here. I happened to go in when nobody was in. I figured it was just the right timing. The tables were all clean. I saw the menu behind the counter but was also giving a paper menu to look through. I got the fried rice with beef. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash or credit card. The wait was about 10 minutes. The amount of food was more than I expected. I had leftovers and the food was delicious. I would come back and try a different item from the menu.“
