“I recently ordered takeout from Chong Chin, and I have to say, the food was absolutely amazing! I got the Triple Crown and the Crispy Double Delight, and both dishes were packed with bold flavors and the perfect level of spice.
The Triple Crown was a fantastic combination of shrimp, chicken, and beef, cooked to perfection with fresh veggies and a rich, flavorful sauce. Every bite was balanced and satisfying.
The Crispy Double Delight was equally impressive—crispy, crunchy, and full of heat! The texture was spot on, and the spices added just the right amount of kick without overpowering the dish.
Even as takeout, the food was hot, fresh, and well-packaged. If you’re a fan of spicy, high-quality Chinese food, Chong Chin is a must-try! I’ll definitely be ordering again soon.“

This Chinese restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. From the crispy egg rolls to the savory lo mein and delicious fried rice, every dish I've tried has been spot on.
The service is just as impressive—friendly, fast, and welcoming. The staff makes you feel right at home, and everything is always prepared with care. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.
Whether you're dining in or taking out, this place never disappoints. It’s definitely become one of my go-to spots for great Chinese food. Highly recommend!“

“Went for the 4.7 rating. I wasn't that impressed, and neither was my sister. I ordered General Tso, which was nothing special that stood out. It was fresh and crispy at least, but the sauce tasted more like a honey sauce with no spicy kick at all. I like my crab rangoons, sweet, but these were way too sweet. Almost like candy. The crab rangoons could be a dessert. I threw away that sweet red dipping sauce after I tried one plain because I was not trying to get diabetes. The chicken wings were smaller than expected. They were also super salty. I needed a drink after the 3 of the 6 tiny wings. The shrimp was smaller than average. Not the tiny salad shrimp, but maybe one size bigger. My sisyer said the steak was a bit over-cooked. Extra sauce is $1. The drinks are cans. There are a few tables to sit and dine in. 1 shared bathroom for men and women, which was essentially well clean.“

“Me and my father had seen this local restaurant down the road and decided to try their food. Best desicion ever!!-friendliest staff ever-we were vegetarian and theycustomized their non veg dishes for us.We ordered egg rice with veg lo mein and a spring roll. They were bussing, the rice was chewy and the lo mein was incredibly delicious. The lo mein had this savory taste, can't explain it but all I can say was that it was fire. Was filling and a great place to dine in for lunch! I totally recommend this place!! ♡“

“We have been ordering food from this restaurant as long as it has been opened. In the beginning it was just okay. Then it seemed to get worse. We didn't order for a long time. Then we decided to give it another try and were happily surprised that the food was really delicious. We've been ordering again about 3 times a month for the past 6 years or so and never disappointed. We highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. The Johnsons“

“This is our second time visiting in 3 days! The sesame chicken and chicken fried rice are delicious! It’s rare to find the sesame chicken that hasn’t been cooked too long and it be tough to eat. This is superbly made! My husband got the chicken and broccoli plate and he said it’s delicious also. We will definitely be going back!“

“This is the first spot to have food that tastes like home to me. The flavors taste fresh and not overpowering. I returned a few days/ week later to enjoy more. I do wish they took cards bc it's cash only. There is an atm nearby- our food came within the said time. The shrimp lo mein, teriyaki chicken on a stick and shrimp egg foo young are perfection. Shrimp rolls just as delicious. I didn't care for the white rice or brown sauce for the egg foo young- it has a word unfamiliar taste and unlike most places with a darker brown sauce.“

“This is my first time here. Google said it closes at 9 and i called at 910 and they took my order anyway. The house lo mein had a healthy amount of meat. Ill come back for sure. I noticed that the review score was low and wasnt going to go until i realized how rough the area was and ALL of the restuarants had bad ratings. It must be tough when all your customers are stressed out. All in all, dont let the rating fool you. This place is GOOD! And i drive semi trucks. I try food from everywhere. I would know. Worth a shot in my book. Glad i tried it“

“This one came with a little kick! The chicken was super tender, veggies were fresh and crunchy, and that spicy sauce snuck up on me in the best way. Not burn-your-face-off hot, but enough heat to keep each bite exciting. With that soft white rice to balance it out, it was a perfect lunch. Spicy, saucy, and seriously satisfying.“

“I like this place a lot. I usually going during lunch. My food is always made hot and fresh. Customer service is usually good as well. Bourbon chicken is my go to. I’m not into all of the other dishes but this place usually does it for me. I don’t like the Chinese in Charlotte but Chopsticks is good.“

“This is a very small physical place period but the food is one thousand percent fantastic. If everyone has been pleasant and kind including delivery people. “This is the only place that I know of that serves pig intestines using "Pah Lo" seasoning. It is cheaper if you pay cash. I always spend about $20 when I come here. It is worth it though. It is a niche shop. I am thankful to have found it, but it isn't for everybody.“

“I have not been here for over a year. Nice new atmosphere, staff was very nice. I loved all of our food. Spring rolls, egg rolls, crab ragoon. All of our chicken dishes were great. My least favorite was the sweet & sour chicken. I remember it having pineapple, but that might of just been my poor memory. All in all I will continue to get my take out from Red Dragon.“

“We had the most perfectly cooked crab rangoon ever here. That being said, the rest of the food was not that great. What they claimed as "chicken" tasted more like some type of dry stringy turkey. It tasted like instant turkey gravy. Rice was old and hard. Egg rolls were more wrappers than cabbage.“

“My roommate introduced me to this placed when I first started living with him. And I can say, this is hands down one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in my area. He gets triple broccoli(spicy) and I get wings(yum yum) and we share. That's are go to. We have tried many other items on the menu.“
