“I found this place on Google maps after getting out of a ridiculously late appointment that lasted way too long so I was starving! I was seated right away and provided with chips and salad which were much welcomed. The music was great and everyone was very welcoming. The owner came out and actually waited on me and was very nice in making an alternate recommendation since the wine I wanted wasn't available. The food was very good. I had a fajita bowl with shrimp that was very flavorful and filling. I don't live in this area but the next time I'm back for an appointment I'll definitely stop in.“

“My new beau and I ate here and we absolutely loved the service and atmosphere. We were going to eat and D and Bs. But we preferred the atmosphere here, instead. We chose the 3 course menu. My guy went for the salmon, and I opted for the rainbow trout that was parmesean crusted. We started with the Caesar salad, and each shared the cheesecake that had raspberry topping. Overall, there was no improvement necessary. Miss Barbi came by to ask us if everything was OK. She was so sweet and cordial. We had a wonderful evening. “Funny story, my mother in law was at a coffee shop here and spoke to the owner about her thanksgiving plans and she mentioned getting food from Annie's. That was enough for us to say, we must try it! So we did and I'm so glad! I tried the catfish and shrimp basket with yams. My husband tried the wings with hot honey and mac and cheese and collards. The catfish was tender but crispy and SO FLAVORFUL! You could tell they seasoned that fish to perfection. The yams were delicious as was the mac and cheese and collards. Wings, perfectly sauced and cooked well! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The cheesecake was just ok and tasted store bought but I was mainly there for the fish and fixings and it did not disappoint!“
“Wanted something fresh and different for a change. I decided to try Taste of Asia Halal! A small hidden gem nestled in Berkeley Place area. I ordered the Szechuan Chicken. It was Amazing! The dish had fresh veggies (onions, peppers, carrots, cabbage), noodles with freshly prepared chicken pieces with a touch of spice! My meal was very filling and I had plenty to devour later. This is officially one of the restaurants that I have put on my go to list! I am officially a loyal customer and will definitely be going back! ❤️“

“We got there kind of late maybe an hour before closing. We had a party of nearly 20.There was only one waiter and one cook and they made it happen. They were patient, polite, and still very tentative to our needs. I’ve been in restaurants where there were 6 plus staff and the service wasn’t nearly as good as this one .“

“My 6th time here. I always order a seafood dish. Everytime it is fresh tasting, prepared perfectly, and great to the last bite. The Octopus is always extremely tender. I prefer the raw dishes, Ceviches or the Aguas dishes. This is a true test to high quality. It's hard to hide poor quality with this type of orders. This is the best Mexican Seafood I have ever had. “Let me start by saying the food does not disappoint at this restaurant. The rice & Peas taste like authentic Jamaican cuisine like when in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I'm vegan so I can't vouch for any meat dishes with curry or jerk, but the chickpea curry is quite tasty and is coconut milk based. You can order it spicy upon request which adds the best flavor in my opinion. I can eat the spinach patties all day. They are delicious. The cabbage and greens are okay. I've referred others to order at a conference in Charlotte and they loved the curry and Jerk chicken.I've only ordered via doordash, but I'm a frequent shopper. The only thing I dislike is that often I have to remove meat pieces from my rice which is annoying ? since I'm vegan but I am conscious of it when I order now.
