The All You Can Eat snow crab legs jumped from $69 to $90—a 30% increase—while the 1 1/2 lbs deal stayed at $45, and the 3 lbs option rose 10%, from $59 to $65. The 1 1/2 lbs deal is $30 per pound, the 3 lbs is $21.67 per pound, and the All You Can Eat (I ate 3 lbs) is $30 per pound. The less you eat, the more it costs per pound, which feels like it punishes lighter eaters. At $90, the crab legs aren’t top-of-the-line; they’re often smaller, not uniform, and harder to crack. I’d pay that if they were premium quality, but they’re not. I get that every batch can’t be perfect due to variables, but I expect more consistency at this price. With crab-stuffed oysters, my check hit $150, plus 18-20% gratuity, totaling $185-$190 after tipping. I can get a steak dinner for $100-$120 or a seafood buffet at the beach for $60 with better value—crab legs there are cracked well, even if it’s a four-hour drive. I didn’t notice the increase until the check—I didn’t check the board since I knew the old prices. That’s on me, but a social media announcement would’ve helped; I saw nothing on their page. Crystal (manager) said tariffs on imported seafood are driving the increase, but it doesn’t add up. If tariffs were the main cause, all crab specials should’ve risen by a similar percentage, not just the All You Can Eat by 30%, while the 1 1/2 lbs deal had no increase and the 3 lbs only went up 10%. Crystal and Darren (server) were the highlights—phenomenal! Crystal’s warmth and professionalism make every visit special; her smile and leadership make Full Moon feel like home. Darren was attentive, friendly, and a joy, keeping everything seamless with a fun energy. They’re outstanding, and the pricing isn’t their fault—they’re gold! The atmosphere is lively with bar-style seating, perfect for a crab feast, but pricing is impacting business—few ordered All You Can Eat this time. Friends at the Jamestown location also stopped ordering crab due to pricing. Maybe host “Crabby Tuesday” every other week? I’ll drop to once a month. 3/5 stars for great service but poor value“

“Went to NC Tavern mainly because my friend wanted to try the seafood bowl. She said it was good, but for $34, it felt like it should’ve come with more—especially since items like sausage, potatoes, and eggs had to be added on separately.
I ordered shrimp and a salad. The shrimp was good, but they didn’t have the right sauce to really take it up a notch. The salad was just okay—nothing special, and I ended up taking most of it home. I also tried an Arnold Palmer with tea and strawberry lemonade, but it was way too sweet, so I sent it back.
We did get a couple of drinks, and they were decent—nothing amazing, but not bad either.
Now, where they really shine is the service. Our waitress was on point—attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time.
The atmosphere is definitely more of a party vibe. It’s loud, especially on a Friday night, so if you’re looking to have a real conversation, this probably isn’t the spot. Music started off with house (not my thing), but once the DJ switched, the vibe improved a lot.

“First time visiting Vibes Bar & Grill, and overall it was a good experience. The mozzarella sticks were hot, fresh, and really good. I ordered two of the $6 drink specials, and the drinks did not disappoint.

I do want to give a special shoutout to Megan B. She was the only waitress who was truly outgoing and consistently checked back on us to make sure we were okay. She made sure our orders were placed correctly and that we were satisfied. Very friendly and attentive I highly recommend requesting Megan B. as your waitress!
I would definitely recommend Vibes Bar & Grill. My only concerns would be that the wait staff could be a bit more friendly and outgoing overall, the patio area should be warmer (it was pretty cold), and there could be more space for dancing.

We ordered the Basil Fried Rice with chicken (added a sunny egg on top), Pad Thai, and the beef skewers.

The basil fried rice was the standout. Great wok flavor, rice wasn’t soggy, and the egg with crispy edges tied everything together perfectly. I ordered medium spice — just right for me, although my wife felt the heat immediately. Thai medium is not American medium, so order wisely.

The Pad Thai was solid and balanced — not overly sweet, good noodle texture, generous portion. The beef skewers were tender with nice char and paired well with the peanut sauce.

Service was friendly, food came out hot, and portions were generous.

Now for my slightly controversial take: in my experience, Asian restaurants are almost never 5-star places. The magic zone is 3.5 to 4 stars. That’s where you usually find the most authentic, no-frills, flavor-first cooking. If a place is too polished, something is probably toned down. Thai House sits right in that sweet spot.
