I even had some of the "Pickiest" of guests tell us how great the food was which says a lot! We will use Derek and his team for other events in the future! “Food is good, prices good, friendly staff, quick service, accuracy. I had never been there before. My son and I had gone to the Farmers Market and I wanted something for breakfast so he recommended Abels Grill. He stated the food was really good and the prices were reasonable.“

From the moment we walked in, we were met with warmth and professionalism, and that only grew stronger as the visit continued.

Let’s talk about the food. Everything we ordered was excellent. The French toast was perfectly sweet with a delicate texture that still felt hearty and satisfying. The gyro was absolutely loaded…overflowing with fresh toppings and meat that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was almost too big to handle, but every bite was worth it. And the baked steak? Succulent, tender, and packed with deep, rich flavor that had us savoring each bite.

We asked a lot of questions, and she answered each one with enthusiasm and genuine care. It was clear she loves her job, and that positive energy made the experience even more enjoyable.

“The Loop serves as a great midweek light meal option when I don't feel like cooking, but the whole family can't decide on the same take-out option.

With that being said, I do NOT recommend drinking the water here. Something is definitely not quite right. It tastes like melting plastic every single time.

“My mother-in-law and I eat at Fitz on Main 2-3 times the three days they are open each week. We love all the food we have eaten here...from the French toast, the Shammy, and omelets to the cheeseburgers, hotdogs, crispy chicken salad and more and can't forget those amazing desserts by Danette. We love the atmosphere, even the closeness and sqeazing by the bar area to get to our table. That closeness is the same you feel from the staff, the friendly faces and regulars you see each week. “We ordered take out and of course it was wrong. We returned our wrong order and these workings kids were playing 'patty-cake" while we watched them and waited for our order the 2nd time. After returning home and eating our order, I then came down with food poisoning. I have dogs that can followed directions better than anyone working in this place.“

“Hadn't been there for a while. Food is still good and cooked with less oil than I remember. Prices are surprisingly still reasonable, much lower than K&W. Employees all low-key friendly. Reviewers expecting high-end restaurant seasoning and taste are being unreasonable and should go to a high-end restaurant (with its salt, sugar and oil). C&H does what it does beautifully.

Vegetarian options: Large salad selection as you enter line . Greens and other items in cooked veggies section. Actually, the main problem is resisting non-vegetarian items as you go through.

Parking: Folks seem hurried in parking lot.“

“Had the worse experience last night. Horrible service. The place literally had 2 tables of people when we got there. took 40 min to get drinks and order. 30 min later after ordering was told they were out of several items. when the food came it was wrong and half the food wasn't even made. so 2 of us didn't even get a meal and all they said was they can give a 25% discount. Never had service once we got our food and the food was either burnt or cold. it sat in the window to be served at least 10 min. they definitely need new management and a trained staff!! I was highly disappointed on what was supposed to be a birthday dinner. I do not recommend at all!“

“We gave Cracker Barrel another try after hearing all the improvements. I will say that nothing has changed. We are still here at the one hour mark from being seated. We still have no food, our coffee cups have been empty most of the time and it wasn't that busy when we got here. I really wanted things to be better. This will be our last visit. I would not be so disappointed if they were just honest about it. When they seat you, they can say hey, our kitchen is about an hour behind and allow you to decide whether that is acceptable.“
