“I have been a big fan of Mo’s Pizza for years. Today I tried some other menu options and was completely blown away. The pasta and marinara are excellent. The vegetables are well prepared and fresh. They are not heavily sauced but rely on their natural flavor. The roasted potatoes were exceptional. Service was very friendly, prompt and professional. A real plus is being able to get a first rate meal without having to sit in traffic for an hour. Plenty of free parking more bonus points! Highly recommended!“

“The moment I opened the door I immediately knew I’d chosen the right spot for lunch by the line all the way to it! This place is inside a Walmart shopping center although you’d swear you were downtown somewhere in the mid 90s once inside which was one of my favorite things about it. The owner was manning the grill himself like it should be turning out orders every few minutes! My lunch consisted of Bacon Cheeseburger and chili cheese fries, the burger was very filling I’d guess 1/4LB or so it didn’t have as much smash/sear as I’d typically prefer but is a great burger nonetheless and the chili cheese fries were amazing! Eric has built an awesome business, greeting customers by name, definitely worth trying if you’re in the Southport/Oak Island Area!!!“

“Great little stop. Don't expect a sit down experience but for the prices, there's really nothing to complain about.

We got the 2/5$ hotdogs and they were delicious. Given the wait time (nothing crazy), you can tell they make the hotdogs as they're being ordered and not having the dogs sit until someone buys one.

It's a great little place to stop by for something quick and on the go. Will definitely visit this place again.“

“An agreeable place for lunch. A small menu with a versatile variety. I enjoyed the flounder basket. This came with a fair sized fillet. I opted for the batter dipped over the breaded and fried. This was accompanied by some delicious crispy fries and a tasty portion of Cole slaw. A nicely prepared meal for lunch. Our waitress Angela was exuberant with a great sense of humor. Overall a good recommendation from the boys at the turtle conservatory. So a shout out and thank you to them also.

Dietary restrictions: Not the healthiest choice. Good for a cheat day.

I had discovered it as I passed by and decided to try it. was not disappointed fast seating on a Saturday night excellent service by Amber and very good food. several staff checked on me during the visit. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Will be there more often.“

“What a little gem! I was pleasantly surprised when I was in the area today and looking for breakfast. Prices are good, Bloody Mary with bacon and omelet were both delicious but the best part was probably Debbie our server. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you stop in and give them a try. “This is one of my favorite spots to grab a bite on the Island. The menu is awesome. I highly recommend that you stop in and try the new Wild Ranch Wing Sauce. In my opinion, it is the best around. The staff is very friendly and always makes it a top notch experience. Keep up the good work Pop’s!“

“I feel the need to review this place since I had suspicions, but then they were false because it was actually good, and other websites like Yelp and TripAdvisor may not tell you to go there. Horizons is a great/good seafood restaurant located in the Bald Head Island Club. I love the golf carts, and good thing they had a parking space for them- which was meant to keep them from being too hot since it was covered by a roof. The elevator is very unique: you step in one one side, and you go out the other once you're there. Originally I thought it'd be like the sign on the front (that kind of restaurants judging from it), but it wasn't. It looked better than that. We sat outside with a party of 7, and our server was the myth, the (wo)man, the legend: Taylor. She was very nice and lightened the atmosphere for us. Whenever it was too sunny, she didn't mind the whole switching the entire seating of the table around kind of thing. She is very comical, too. Anyways, for appetizers, our table got the Crab Dip and a Pub Pretzel. I do not know what was in that crab dip (except crab), but HOLY SMOKES THAT WAS INCREDIBLE. It reminded me of some other dish, and I loved it. Pretzel was also good. For entrees, our table ordered 2 things of chicken tenders, buffalo wings, a caesar salad (maybe a different one), a Cape Fear burger, the shrimp or scallop risotto (i couldn't remember since I'm writing this the day after the meal), and the pan-seared Halibut. The food was good, but not amazing. For Bald Head standards, I'll give this a 5 star. For my regular standards, I'll give it a 4.
Also, I believe the seagulls raided some table at the far back. Although that happened, it was pretty funny to me.“

Oh no I ordered from the other store. I was 1000 percent wrong. They graciously fix it no problem. I offered to pay for the other location food. They said no. They make my order in record time.
