“What a fabulous find! Don't judge this restaurant from its outward appearance - as soon as you enter, the warm friendly white table cloth service grabs a hold and you're on your way to nothing less than a pure culinary delight.

Our meal began with a nice glass of the house cab - we knew it would be good since the walls are lined in bottles of the elixir. Our first appetizer was the Applewood Bacon Wrapped Medjool Dates Stuffed with Gorgonzola Cheese and Topped with a Pesto & Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. They were so savory! We followed that with the Lump Crab Cakes and Jumbo Shrimp - simply fabulous! For the main course, we split the Seared Ahi Tina Fresh (fresh sliced ginger, wasabi and an awesome wasabi sauce) with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. Yes, the photo provided is a half-portion. It was so fresh and the asparagus was a nice complement. For dessert, we enjoyed a Cappuccino and the Limoncello Torte with Amaretto Cream. The atmosphere was comfortable and we enjoyed every delectable bite. This is a great place for a top-notch meal and to celebrate any occasion worthy of the supreme meal.

The bake beans could be improved they taste like out of a can and not made fresh . They only offer one kind of slaw the vinegar which was good . My grandkids loved the shrimp! ! But, the dip is served warm in a small paper condiment cup. I like the bottles you can squirt or drizzle the dip onto the pups. And onto sandwich. Very hard to dip the teensy pups without immersing your fingers. That's the only thing I'd change but certainly not a show stopper. I'd recommend and would easily go again.”

“A bit of a mixed bag. First of all, they do not serve beer or margaritas or wine! It is a dry restaurant!

Also, it felt a bit brightly lit to dine in. Coupled with no beer and wine, this makes it a takeout place in my eyes.
With the idea of a takeout place in mind, this becomes a different review entirely. Because they have a drive-through window!

So if this was a sit-down place I would rate it at three, due to no beer and wine and being too brightly lit. But since this is a takeout place and it has a drive-through window, my rating will be a four.

Let’s talk about the food.
It seems the thing to get here are the burritos. The tacos didn’t have much going on. They were just blah. Not a lot of the toppings, maybe some tomatoes and onions. Plus, when I ordered it with a rice and beans (and they put it in the same container) the tacos disintegrated having touched the rice and beans. (Series photo).
But the burritos looked huge, and my husband and son said they tasted very good. I’ve included the burritos with a picture of my hand so you can get a sense of scale.
Bottom line: we live somewhat nearby, and this will be our takeout place for burritos, with the understanding that we can call in and just pick it up in the drive-through. But I would not order the tacos again, nor would I go for a dine-in experience with a brightly lit Dining room and no beer and wine.

Parking: Parking is easy and there is a big lot.

Kid-friendliness: Seems totally fine for kids!”

Looks can be deceiving because it is in a gas station, but so of my favorite food has been out of gas stations for example Smileys Pizza. To get back on the main road take the back way towards Big Lots.”

“I used to come here all the time as a kid back when I lived here before moving to Florida when I was 7. It was always my favorite place to get breakfast. Now 20 years later I'm back in town for a cousin's wedding (Congrats Alec!) and I simply had to eat here once before heading back down to Gainesville. Needless to say, the Gravy Biscuit is just as incredible as I remember it being, and SHOCKINGLY LESS THAN $4.00 FOR SOMETHING THIS GOOD, IN THIS ECONOMY. HOW??? Both the biscuits and gravy are both absolute perfection. I NEED you guys to open a franchise down in Florida so that I can actually get a proper breakfast every morning before work and maybe Gainesville will be slightly less miserable (You'll need to work hard on that though because the Gators are absolutely beefing it this year).

Parking: Pretty easy to get in and out of, didn't know they had a drive-thru but it was a pretty long line of cars when I was there earlier, so I just walked in and got a to-go order, then drove down to Southern Lunch (they were closed but the parking lot was still open) and ate breakfast in my car while watching some trains go by. Overall a good morning.”

“Very solid old-school bakery. We wanted a cake design and showed them a photo, and the cake designers thought it was too complex so we looked at another design and that was too complex, so we settled on an easier design, and they did a great job with that. (See photo).
This place is huge. And they are cranking out the cupcakes and the treats. Everything looked delicious, but since we were only there to pick up the cake, we did not buy any other products.

Known for their grand fluffy biscuits that will literally melt in your mouth fresh out the oven. Breakfast is served all day and they're open until 3. I have yet to try their lunch because I love the breakfast so much my favorite is cheese grits and a side of sausage every now and then or when I have my grandkids I'll get the pancakes. These aren't just any flapjacks; they're sweet and soft and fluffy and you barely need any syrup. 10/10 recommend”

“Like most Americans these days, I am careful where my dollar bills get spent. Elizabeth's Pizza fills all my criteria, and then some. Taste? Man, it's Elizabeth's. Nuff said! Friendliness? Just enough where I feel like they are happy to see me come through the door, but not to make me feel smothered. Value? I can get a large cheese pizza for about $13, get full immediately and have enough left over to keep the munchies at bay for the rest of the night. Try that at Burger King. Speaking of which, with the way fast food burger places are raising their prices it seems that Elizabeth's is where you get the most bang for your buck. As much as I love their pizza (I worked in the pizza business for 3 decades, so I kind of know the ropes), my go to meal of late is the cheese steak hoagie. Superb! Who knows what it will be next week. There is a reason that place has stayed in business at that spot for so long while others come and go.
If I could change anything, I would have the owner give me free food forever. Not likely though.”
